Great little ship there. Clever use of the droid heads for the bridge area.

Update time. Well the wife wanted this out of the living room so I built a desk which doubles as my Lego building corner for in the bedroom. She's not impressed it is taking up space there now but tough luck haha. Anyway this is how it looks now. Finally moved to its new home. by Michael, on Flickr

Here is a photo of the real locomotive showing the cab design with the old BHP livery. I believe they are all in dark green and orange now with the BHP-Billiton livery.

Been watching the progress on flickr. Looking forward to seeing the whole diorama

Nice to see a sideloading forklift MOC. We use them at my work along with normal forklifts.

New locomotive on LEGO Ideas + new Guinness World Record
michaelozzie replied to Henrik Ludvigsen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Supported and a very nice locomotive it is. -
Awesome work as always 12volt. Great stickering and such beautiful presentation of these trains.

Update time. Finished off the tiling now for the wharf which is almost done. Just waiting on parts now to finish the second silo. The next section will be the approaching rail line passing the factory and some houses. Great looking Spar supermarket and the building suits it well with the colour scheme. Your whole town looks wonderful

As part of my train layout I've been working on lately I have begun to build a few houses. This one is inspired by typical architecture as seen in Brugge(Bruges) where I lived for a few years before moving to a smaller town. I am yet to add the interior though, as its a toss up between a chocolate shop or café. My wife used to run a chocolate shop in Brugge, so she would like to see that option come to fruition. What do you guys think? by michaelozzie1, on Flickr by michaelozzie1, on Flickr

Update time again. The first of the cement silos is now almost finished. Very parts heavy on the interior to get the curve right. Still waiting on more Bricklink orders to arrive. Some are being a bit slow by michaelozzie1, on Flickr by michaelozzie1, on Flickr

Update time. I changed the green front to dark red which looks a bit nicer now. I've added a neighbour too. Now to do the interiors and stock up on the chocolate. by michaelozzie1, on Flickr

I had considered brown but it blends too much with the dark red. A pub or café was what I had thought of originally. It opens modular style too.

Looking good. The bogies are well put together. -
MOC (?) 'TIE Fighter' short film character minifigs
michaelozzie replied to Tris637's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Saw this short film and it is beyond brilliant. Loved seeing the Empire kick Rebel butt for a change. -
Hopefully yes I will get it along to Brickmania when its all done. Motorizing the crane is an option I'm considering for later down the track. Also looking at working lights to add to the setup.
-
That looks like the usual patrons in a Ghent pub you have there. Nice modular and the roof is very well done.

Yes this is the one from a long time ago now SBB cargo shunter by michaelozzie1, on Flickr

Really nice 12volt. I made a model of this locomotive in the CARGO liverie more than 5 years ago now. Yours ofcourse is a vast improvement. I like the idea using the old windows for the lights too.
-
Thanks and yes I will post more pictures of the locomotives tomorrow when I'm home.

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. No Belgians were hired in the laying of the cobblestones so they are nice and straight but I will look into your idea as the build progresses. The next part I have to replicate is this area of silos. Suggestions on ways to build the silos are welcome. VVM-Grootdok-Port-of-Ghent-2014-04-05-2wi7gxv74ylxxb1wspko3k by michaelozzie1, on Flickr

The warehouse building is part of the VVM works on the Grootdok. Where the factory building stands now will be where I build the cement silos at a later date.

Thanks Patrick. Yes I miss a lot of the older green Locomotives. Hoping to MOC a few more of them soon.
