Does the studio model of the Interceptor TIE have this two red lights ? Cause there isn't any red light on the rear of the 7181. One day, a famous Lego Designer told me : edit : As for the lypons, take few parts and show me what do you suggest. Be sure I were glad the improve that part of my MOC. :)

If I have only 4 studs, the wings of the TIE are not well attached. I also can't put Technic Connector. My wing is much thinner (2 plates) than 7181 Interceptor (1 brick + 1 plate = 4 plates). ?
-
Hello, Few weeks ago, I changed the wings to make them bigger (and so for the MOC to be more accurate). Here are only 4 photos. I will have to do more when I Oxycrest has redone the sticker. PS : sorry to be back on this very old topic, but...

A newbie crashing the party - looking for a recommendation...
Anio replied to seibab's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The first question you must answer is : How much do you plan to spend ? Because you do not buy the same things with €80 or €350. -
Very, very good MOC ! It is not so big but it has a lot of details ! And you use some very interesting building techniques. Kudos ! I think, nevertheless, that the model lacks a bit studs (yeah, I love studs ) I think it would look better with studs on the wings and especially on the main fuselage (the noze). Putting some studs everytime the noze become thiner would decrease the "stair effect" (dunno if you see what I mean ).

Rumors: 1h 2011 technic sets?

Wrong. Definitely wrong. Many Most of them do not enable anything new but make things we already know easier. -
Rumors: 1h 2011 technic sets?
Anio replied to JunkstyleGio's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
With all the new parts, a model which would have required 200 parts today will require 130 parts in 10 years. O_o I'm not convinced that this part is so useful... -
Well. I have nearly 50,000 parts "displayed" in my room. But I have very few parts to do MOCs. Only some zip bags in 2 boxes (4,000 parts maybe). As I wrote in the thread of my UCS Executor, the fewer "useless" parts I have, the better (and cheaper) it is. But BL is my friend to get everything I need.

Of course. And the shuttle can fly. -_- Great work, Cavegod !

Oops, yeah, sorry for the mistake. Well. Anyway, I get my copy this morning. I built it in about 2 hours. My opinion : I REALLY enjoyed building this set. Much better than any other UCS. It has many colored parts and we do not spent time searching the parts in the box (even if we do not use the number of the bag ; that's my case : I put all the parts in the box). Eventually, the model is much bigger than what I expected. So, I'm very happy with this model.

I ordered mine in November, 26th. I still haven't received it.

IMO, UCS is nothing more than details/realism. It has definitely nothing to do with scale, part number, size, etc. So, I think that 10026 is a great set. And I challenge anyone to build a better looking Naboo N-1 starfighter than the 10026.

New Lego Technic Marketing Manager in TLG
Anio replied to DLuders's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think that those who caused the problem with the #8043 are the members of the team which designed the LA's in 2007 (the LA's have maybe been designed in 2006 since the first sets have been released in 2007). 8043 is a great set (certainly among the 3 best Technic ever) and TLG should must be very grateful to Goose. I hope that these problems with #8043 will not prevent TLG from doing such complex models in the futur. -
8448 Useless Trivia
Anio replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Isn't it possible for the helicopter to rotate around the axis of the rotor ? It would look better. :) Great job anyway. Is there a special function in the soft to achieve this or do you have to "join" several renders ? -

IMO, these long cars are very ugly, whatever they are real cars or Lego cars. -

Strange rates... @_@ -
I don't know if you already have seen a picture of this set : IMO, this model doesn't look very good. Nevertheless, it has a DBG container (on the cannon). This part is quite rare on BL. So, that's cool to have one in this set. PS : thanks to Bull from Legopirate for the pic.

Lego Ambassador From This Eurobricks Technic Community?
Anio replied to DLuders's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm pleased to see that you think that SeTechnic could represent the Technic theme. As the founder of ST, I were very happy to be involved in that Program. However, this year is my last year of study. So, I will not apply. In the near future, I hope I will be able to apply... Otherwise, I also think they shouldn't increase the number of LA's too much, in order to keep this program efficient. :) -
Speaking of which, I hope I will be able to show you new pics soon. Indeed, I redesigned the wings of my TIE.
