  1. It's is UCS. So it's not meant to be played with. As for the studs, I really like them. The same feeling with 10179.
  2. Email me : setechnic@gmail.com
  3. Hint : slope 4x1 does exist in LBG.
  4. Yeah I saw that too. It sucks.
  5. Almost half of the creations are from TechLUG members. ^^ Congrats to everyone who made it into that top 16 !
  6. Hi there ! And now thieves are poping on less popular website than ebay. Here, on a NL website : http://www.marktplaats.nl/a/kinderen-en-baby-s/speelgoed-duplo-en-lego/m1119242540-star-wars-lego-ucs-venator-class-star-destroyer-moc.html?c=8c285449651fa109c354bbabe740c1b&previousPage=lr&pos=29 The guy says he can provide (steal) most of the instructions of my designs... What a jerk. I do not know that website and so just sent "Rapporteer deze advertentie" request. Not sure it will work. If some Dutch AFOL knows that website, help would be very appreciated. Thanks for reading, Régis Edit : Tom, a Dutch Lego fan told me that that page had to be used : http://help.marktplaats.nl/help/contactuspage Then, select "Veilig Andelen & Internetoplitching", then "Melding Verdachte adverteeeder".

    Smart substitutes...
  8. What is wrong with that guy... I reported the auction (and you are welcome to do the same). But is there a way to ask ebay to ban that guy for good ?
  9. Hi guys, Yet another thief... http://www.ebay.de/itm/Lego-Star-Wars-Venator-UCS-MOC-Modell-Bauteileliste-und-Bauplan-/322296227848?hash=item4b0a5a2808:g:JrUAAOSwCGVYA9ie Can you please report that auction ? PS : thank you to TomF who informed me about that auction.

[MOC] Rebel U-wing from Rogue One

Not a big fan of the ship, but you did a good job ! I like how you achieved the textures (good balance with studs and tiles).
  12. True. The rule is more or less 10€ / kg for a random bunch of parts. 4500 kg is not worth more than 45000€ (50K$), at best. Very, very far from the 1M he asks...

    [WIP] [MOC] Harrower-class Dreadnought

Very, very good work ! I did some ships like that in the past, and it has always been a pain to make the right structure with the right angles. By far the most difficult part of the design process. When I read you WIP descriptions, it seems that getting the right angles was simple. It even looks like you were lucky sometimes. Was it some kind of happy accident ?
  14. Hi there ! Here is my latest creation, completed about 1 month ago. It is the railway station of Limoges, obviously made for the city of Limoges (France). It is made out of 12,500 elements and required 90 hours of work, trip to Limoges included. Plenty of details, and some were tricky to achieve. I had a lot of fun doing the model. All the documents I had about the building (plans, and TONS of photo) were very helpful. Note that the new Big Ben was quite helpful to design my own tower. :) Not to mention that I could have nice printed dishes thanks to that set. And 2 others creations, still for the city of Limoges. Porcelain, and a basketball of the CSP, the famous basketball club of the city.. 2200 elements : Basketball of Limoges CSP by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Basketball of Limoges CSP by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr And 800 pieces : Porcelain of Limoges by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Porcelain of Limoges by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Porcelain of Limoges by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Porcelain of Limoges by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Porcelain of Limoges by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Porcelain of Limoges by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr More photo on my FlickR albums : Railway station of Limoges : https://www.flickr.com/photos/anio-ucs/sets/72157673272055611 Basketball of Limoges : https://www.flickr.com/photos/anio-ucs/sets/72157674376748336 Porcelain of Limoges : https://www.flickr.com/photos/anio-ucs/albums/72157671081355904 Hope you enjoyed that presentation. Hi guys, Any idea how to add a link in a picture ? And note to the EB team : when we click on profile, I think it would be more interesting to have the "about me page" first rather than the "activity page".
  19. No, I am not much into Lego Ideas. You can see my other creations in my FlickR : https://www.flickr.com/photos/anio-ucs/albums

    Château of Cheverny, and more...

Hi, FYI, the Chateau of Cheverny model and the other creations will stay in the Chateau of Cheverny. So you will be able to see them at any time if you visit the castle in the future. ;)
  21. Hi there ! After some builds for the city of Saint Quentin (France ; see topic : http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=130580 ), I designed some new models for the Château of Cheverny. It is one of the most famous Château of the Château of the Loire valley. Of course, I did the Château of Cheverny itself. It is the main piece displayed inside the Château of Cheverny. 28,000 elements. https://www.flickr.c...157667664294584 Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr A dog of the Château of Cheverny, with the "V" of the Vibraye Family on the right flank. 6,200 elements. https://www.flickr.c...157670445678305 Dog of the Château of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr And another dog : Dog of the Chateau of Cheverny by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr And a Louis XV style chair. 13,000 elements. Of course, if you are careful, you can sit on it ! https://www.flickr.c...157667673407913 Louis XV style chair by Régis Gamba, sur Flickr Note that none of the models are glued. It is stable with the clutchpower of the bricks only. You can see those models and some more at the Château of Cheverny from now till the end of the Histoire en Briques (History in Bricks) event (November 2nd). A little bird told me that the model of the Château might stay there forever... Time will tell. :) Régis
  22. Thanks ! It will remain built for a long time. Indeed, it will be displayed in the showroom of an architect for 1 year, and then, it is supposed to go to the townhall of Limoges. It's cool you noticed that. :) There was some 3D work for it (3DS Max, if I remember correctly).
  23. Thank you guys. ;) And thank you to the EB team for frontpaging the model. :) I am ! :D Among all the creations I did over the last 12 months, I think this one is my favorite. :) Nope. Nothing like that in the pipe at the moment. :)
