cheers i have bit the bullet and bought a new printer and ordered some A4 vinyl matt sticker paper so i can print my own stickers.
-
Just realised how big a project this is gonna be, i have 4 feet made and have used nearly 1000 pieces each foot is 240+ peices without the ankle joint! The head is very heavy and is going to need some hefty support to keep it attached to the body, still on a plus note i have tested the ankle joints to see what weight they will take before breaking and i got 11lb so it will safetly hold 40lb on all four feet, surely it won't weigh more than that.....will it?????

just trying to figure out how the weight of this thing rests on 4 technic axles at the ankles????
-
well as Rokinhurt says the sales would not be as good if a hoth packaged AT-AT was released so an atat in endor packaging would sell better, the only difference between the two types of atat is the minifigs, both atats are the same apart from the endor one has twigs and leaves on it as opposed to snow. so we get an atat for ESB aniversary.
-
ahh but if it was copied it would be the same which it is not, i think that covers it never the less it is now finished, been working on something else recently.
-
the AT-OT is not true UCS

if the pictures are that confidential then don't you think Lego would have kept them under tighter security?
-
dunno if its been posted but if you post off five different coupons you get the entire set mailed to your door.

while uploading some photos i found a few of an old ucs i made last year enjoy.
-
yes 4 in the cockpit, the body would hold a lot more if you remove the landing gear mechanism.
-
the hardest bit was the three wings believe it or not the amount of technic pins and axles in them plus nearly 100 1x1 brick with hole in each one! the window is a 12 x 4 windscreen with car window tint on. took about 2 months including parts ordering and working out problems.
-
just ordered the last peice
-
id say it will be over 2000, theres a lot of tech half pins inside
-
Here ya go anything else just ask.
-
well i used oceanblues and gareths b wing on brickshelf to get the main elements and to solve a few things since i am new to mocing, but from ordering parts and completing the b wing probably about 2 months, the shuttle is 2 months so far in build time. i think the b wing cockpit could do with being larger maybe 10 x 10 radar dish size but apart from that i am happy with it.
-
yes the wings will hold their own weight, i thought that the cockpit should be a bit steeperbut looking at the source photos it does'nt go below the hull, but when you watch ROTJ in the home one hangar it is very steely angled
-
Thanks i wish the pictures where better but only got a camera phone.
