I’ve recently been collecting ships to form a Resistance/Rebel fleet, and it shocks me how there are still so many ships we’ve never gotten! I’d love to get a Home One Mon Calamari Cruiser , nebulon B frigate, transport pods from both ESB and TLJ, blue A-Wings, the resistance B-Wing from ROS etc

I’ve recently been reflecting on the state of Star Wars these past years and I can truly say that we should all feel lucky to have so much Star Wars content decades after the first movie released in 1977,with TCW returning and rumors of a High Republic trilogy, and last year alone with the Mandalorian, ROS and Jedi: Fallen order was such an incredible year for new interesting content that it’s disheartening that TLG hasn’t been taking advantage of that. Still taking the easy way of “what will sell” rather than giving us all the new exciting stuff we’ve seen on screen, of the TFF waves, all but one set (pasana speeder chase) were remakes of some sort. And seeing yet another landspeeder, x-wing, snow speeder etc is just boring. ill say that all of those sets are updated and are very well designed, but I hope we get a bit more of a leap of faith and trust from TLG that the new designs will sell just as well if not better. We need the Razorcrest, the Mantis from Fallen Order, the Night Buzzard. Even from the OT and PT we’ve never gotten the Mon Calamari cruiser, Yavin IV, Jedi temple, Hammerhead cruiser etc. Come on LEGO, I have faith in you guys, have some faith in us too.

Speaking of the mando pack and it’s selling out everywhere... By what day would you guys think they would restock them? I haven’t found a single battlepack at home, I think they didn’t send the full wave to my country. But I’m going to fly back to New York for college in a week, think I’ll have luck finding them then?

What if the Hogwarts students brickheadz is a kind of house pack that lets you make your own “sigfig” with one of the four Hogwarts houses. It could include different skin and hair types, accessories like wands, books, owl with cage, trunk, wizard hat etc. And different colored plates to change the house. I think this would be interesting, and considering the name I think if it was just a named character it would be listed that way. And the only names characters besides the trio that would make sense to come out as a brickheadz is Draco, Ginny or maybe Neville.

The more I look at pictures of the battle pack the more I love it! I would have like to get a red Mandalorian though (guess I’ll have to bricklink Sabine wren with her helmet). The only thing that disappoints me a little is the fact that there isn’t any leg printing on the brown Mando. Does anyone know of any good alternatives? I thought maybe the orange mandos legs since they just have the grey pattern. Or maybe the Mandalorian’s legs from the atst raider.

Overall my thoughts are rather mixed on this wave. all three micro fighters look great! My first ever Star Wars set was the T-16 sky hopper from back in the day, so that ship holds a special place in my heart, I got the 2015 one so I’m definitely going to pick that one up. I’ll pass on the Kylo Ren shuttle since I just bought the system scale one. I want to buy the system scale Y wing, but if I end up not getting it I’ll be happy with getting the micro fighter and brick linking Poe, since I mostly want those two figures. The battle pack looks great! I do agree that the ratio is a bit off, and I’d love for there to be at least one regular stormie in place of the officer to build those up too. im excited to see the Mandalorian Battle pack, of all of the sets that’s the one in most excited for. The two tatooine sets are meh, the Ben Kenobi Hut looks decent, might get it at a discount. the mustafar duel looks... odd, kind of seems like a 4+ set. I thought the duel of starkiller base was a pretty nice display piece with some good looking terrain. But this one just seems too Child playset like. now finally, onto the two large sets. I’m not sure if I’ll end up getting them, especially since of those rumored prices, the minifigure sure look great, especially those two new knights of Ren. Disappointing to see Finn and R2 reused, but it’s not a huge deal.the tie dagger looks new and interesting at least. I’m still not sure on the color of the new x wing, I missed out on the blue and grey resistance x wing so maybe my money would be better placed tracking that one down at a reasonable price. I think whether or not I get these two sets depends on my opinion of the movie and their relevance in it. all in all a pretty strong wave I think, I hope they don’t make us wait too long to see that mandalorian battle pack though!

That leaked owl that was discussed here a while ago has now been shown to be part of the city line, good news is that it’s in a rather cheap set (10-15 dollars I’m assuming) so it’s a good way to get that owl for our Harry Potter displays! Hopefully we get more owls in sets in the next waves, in both waves so far we’ve only gotten hedwig in a few sets and the owl that came with Cho! We want more owls!

That looks really incredible! I’d love to get a parts list and instructions somehow. I wouldn’t post it anywhere but would still give you credit if I did!

I found some images of this mini knight bus, does anyone know if it’s released? Or if it’s set to be another LEGO store or Barnes and Noble free gift like the snitch from this summer, or the Hogwarts express or wand from last year.

I’m hoping to get what will be my dream set, and also make the both of you happy! Imagine if we were to get a Wolfpack Republic Gunship with the “Plo’s Bros” nose art. With an updated Plo Koon, commander Wolffe and 104th members like Comet, Sinker and Boost! it would be incredible to also get a battle pack with just regular 104th battalion clones to army build <3 this all should be in the wishlist forum however, I just wanted to mention it since the talk of clone wars, Plo and the LAAT.

What do you all speculate for the Mandalorian battle pack? Is this the only new Mandalorian ser rumored so far? I’d love to get the Razor Crest as a set some day.

This is the one for me, maybe switch Justin with karkaroff (though I would love to get more hufflepuff uniforms) and it’s the perfect list. Having Harry and Ron be polyjuiced makes it perfect for basically having two figures in one. Lion luna, werewolf lupin and Firenze are also must haves! Id also love a Kingsley but not sure who I’d switch him out for. Have this line up, along with a battle pack with one random minifigure per house, and that would be absolute perfection.

Hey everyone! I’m new to this forum (usually frequent the Harry Potter discussion) so I was wondering what the rumored sets for 2020 are? And if we’re expecting to get more sets from the mandalorian. Id love to see the mandalorians ship as a set! thanks!

I feel like if they were to make a movie for Cursed Child, they would do at least some rewrites to adapt the story for film. also, I understand the hate for the script, but trust me on this: seeing the play is truly a marvelous experience and the story evolves in a much better way when seeing it live, rather than just reading. if they did make sets part of me wants them to be based on the play, with the different uniforms and logos ?

That’s a very nice way of putting it, i do think that considering it was something they had to pull together at the last minute; the calendar does look very nice, my favorites being the chess table, Hogwarts architect and the acceptance letter! im excited to see what LEGO will do for next years inevitable HP calendar, seeing as how it looks to be a bestseller so far. they also need to find a way to add some Halloween decorations in a set, Halloween is a huge part of HP and it would be really cool to get add ons to the great hall.

I’d much prefer to get one of each house, that would make it easier to build up teams for all four houses rather than just Gryffindor and Slytherin, that way it could just be one pack you could get multiples of. I also think that it’s great to be able to use them in sets, but part of me still wants some more mini builds to go along with the amazing D2C Hogwarts, the four days of boring flag poles could have easily been turned into a micro scale quidditch pitch to go along with it. And there’s so much you could do in microscale, like a small knight bus, durmstrang ship, more of the dragons, etc. id take that over a fireplace any day

I think I’d rather get Ginny seeing as how she wears the standard uniform, whereas Ron used the keeper uniform, of which there’s only one of in each team. However the problem is that in the newer quidditch uniforms, each player has a number and their last name at the back of the jersey, making army building impossible or inaccurate. I’d hope for another quidditch set further down the line with the new uniforms. And in a cmf to see hufflepuff and ravenclaw versions of the first uniform, with no numbers or last names.

I just noticed that the build your own adventure book only contains scenes from Philosophers stone, hopefully that would mean more could come in the following years, with each book coming with a different minifigure and mini set depicting a small scene from that movie, with the actual book showing designs based off of that movie/book. i was thinking something like the dueling club with Draco for year two, a portion of the wooden bridge with Hermione for year three, and some Quidditch World Cup tents with Ron for year four. What do you all think?

Just picked up the ride of Voldemort set, and I must say that while it’s not the most exciting set of the wave, it is really nice; cool build and 5 exclusive minifigs is something you really can’t beat. I do however think that with the set alone, the graveyard setup in my display is still lacking, I’ll probably end up buying the hidden side graveyard to complement it. Also apparently someone on Instagram bought the advent calendar already, but to have it already be on the shelves is a bit odd right? Seeing sets a week or two before street date is rather common, but more than month before release?... odd, but hey, the sooner the better.

It does feel more like a $40 set, but once you consider the fact that it includes 2 winged horses, 4 exclusive figures, with a new head mold and new color for hagrid (who also boosts the price) and over 400 pieces; then the price seems reasonable

It would be nice to have the raised base, but as you said se would need to get bases for all previous and upcoming Hogwarts sections, and since the castle normally has a large rocky base, it would conflict with the modular aesthetic of the system scale parts. My suggestion would be modding it, using the micro scale castle as inspiration, or just see the micro scale castle as an accurate depiction and the system scale sets as dollhouse style vignettes

I think this would be good to fill in some gaps, there’s still lots of potential sets for the first 4 movies and it would suck to have to wait until they’re done with the rest to get them. this has been said a hundred times before but some things we still need are the philosophers stone challenges, chamber of secrets, shrieking shack, second task, durmstrang ship, etc pretty much one or two sets per movie

This new Barnes and Noble Golden Snitch free mini build got me thinking... How many promotional/free items have we gotten so far in this new Harry Potter range? The ones I remember are promos: Diagon Alley & bricktober free builds: snitch, Hogwarts Express, Wand build Am I missing any? And when do you think me might get another promo or free item?

I just had a thought that made me rather concerned.... given the recent wave and the high sales of the theme, do you guys think there might be a SDCC exclusive Harry Potter mini set or mini figure revealed? There’s usually only some superhero or Star Wars sets, but there’s always the possibility. If so I’ll be excited for new stuff... but bummed out due to the exclusivity of it, I’ve gotten all the 2018 sets, cmf’s and exclusives so far, so I’d like to have it for the sake of completion but I would not like to fork over an arm and a leg on eBay.
