  1. That's quite a big relief, as it was quite worrying to think the two scum teams uniting on the first day. Hopefully, Li'l TK was able to get some info and was able to pass it to a townie he trusted. In the meantime while waiting for any possible night action result, I think it's worth looking for any clues on those who voted for Trumpet yesterday (order of voting, reason for voting vs. general behavior in-thread).
  2. At first I though it might've been also better if Li'l Nightshroud didn't "think aloud" about that possibility, but come to think of it, it could still plant some seeds of doubt to the scum teams whether to trust Li'l TrumpetKing's statement or not. Is he really a scum wanting to unite the two scum teams? Or a townie trying to fish for info? We really wouldn't know. The scum teams would also have some initial doubts also for sure (but like you said I would be surprised if they don't deduce it correctly). At this point, let's just prepare for the worst and hopefully we could get our acts going behind-the-scenes and remain vigilant in reading people either in the game thread or privately.
  3. I retract what I said earlier about his "giving up" being stupid. It's actually brilliant whether he's scum or town. Since he seems to have accepted his fate already, he'd either get some vital info in his remaining hours (and pass it to a townie he trusts) if he's a fallen townie or his move would've essentially united the two scum teams if he's indeed scum (hopefully they won't). With TrumpetKing's revelation, and preparing for the worst that he is indeed a scummo, I've ran some case scenario possibilities Assuming: among 21 players: 15 town, 3 killing scum team, 3 recruiting scum team (total 6 scum combined + ability to recruit 6 additional players) Best-case scenario for town = scum lynched + scum SK-killed + scum kill target protected + scum recruitment block (100% success rate all the time is highly improbable, unfortunately) Worst-case scenario for town = townie lynched + townie SK-killed + townie scum-killed + townie recruited to scum (could be all over by Day 3/Night 3 ). Realistically speaking, night action success would tend to fall in between these two extreme scenarios, so the town would really need some luck on our side to have succesful night actions. Obviously, the major advantage of the scum teams if they unite this early is they'll have the a smaller number of people to target at night, unlike the townie PRs who would most likely rely on hit-or-miss in the early goings (even hurt ourselves with a wrongful SK kill). Hopefully, even if we are at a huge disadvantage against a united scum team, the town could also get their acts going as soon as possible.
  4. Yeah I know that. Sorry for being so slow. Well played to TrumpetKing's scum team, this was almost surely a planned tactic from the very start, making TrumpetKing a sacrificial lamb to unite the two scum teams. But it ain't over yet, we don't even know how many members each scum team has, and how many days it will take for them to outnumber us. It's just Day 1. But one has to wonder whether Mr. def anticipated this scenario on Day 1, wherein catching a scum would turn out to be more disadvanageous to the town.
  5. If you're scum, why give up this easily? If you're town, then why claim as scum? Scum or town, one word: Stupid (and please don't take it personally, it's in the context of the game). Well thanks for making it easier for us: Unvote: Li'l BoyWonder Vote: Li'l TrumpetKing And don't get too cocky, if you scum are so sure you have this in the bag already then you might as well tell Mr. def to end this game right now.
  6. Well it looks like the fate of Li'l TrumpetKing is nearly sealed... But there are some things about his behavior that bothers me and actually prevents me from casting my vote for him (not that it holds much weight at this point), but here are my concerns: 1. Granting Li'l Zeph is town and Li'l TrumpetKing is indeed scum, does it make sense for a scum to "lead" a lynch vote on a townie especially at the start of the voting process? Remember he was third one to cast a unique vote (I was first who voted for Redblade, then CMP voted for Scouty) and the first one on Li'l Zeph. I was thinking it would be a risky move for the scum to lead a vote on a townie, since what if a bandwagon turns on Zeph and he eventually gets voted out and he's proven a townie the next day? Then the suspicion would be put on TrumpetKing on Day 2 and that is something the scum don't want right? Would a scummo be that reckless? 2. His posting behavior from the start seem to be full of excitement, which could either mean he's just an overzealous townie or a "trying-hard-to-be-active" scum. What I noticed is that he seems to respond to posts right away, unlike the calculated posting style of scum which sometimes have lag times (consulting with scum teammates). Coupled with the fact that he seems to be bumbling on his defense, I'm starting to think he may just be an inexperienced townie folding under the pressure. I know my analysis of TrumpetKing may go against how the majority feels, and it may put unwarranted suspicion on me as if I was trying to defend him, but I'm just laying out that it's something to think about. I may be wrong about how I read him, heck, I wish I was wrong about him and he eventually turn out as scum. But if there's a key takeaway with all these happenings, even if Mr. def doesn't approve it, is that the discussion about the role PM somehow made it easier to read some players (some potential scum, some potential townie). And depending on the results of the voting and the way people reacted towards TrumpetKing today, we may have additional reads on certain players. Since I have my reservations on voting for Li'l TrumpetKing, I will vote for someone who has flown under the radar and hasn't been really helpful so far: Vote: Li'l BoyWonder Not that it's surprising behavior from him (he has been consistent with this style of play ever since ), I just think he could've been more helpful by being more active and not simply pussyfooting in the background.
  7. I'm quite satisfied with your answer Li'l Redblade, and I feel my vote will be of better use for other lynch candidates, so I'll Unvote: Li'l Capt. Redblade. I'm leaning towards Li'l TrumpetKing right now, but I'll wait for what he has to say regarding the accusations against him.
  8. --- Overall, what struck me the most about Li'l Redblade is he almost seemed to agree with everything I posted (see posts above), in stark contrast to those who heavily scrutinized my posts (Li'l Hinckley, Li'l Pandy, Li'l Rick). I just think it's too easy a strategy for a potential scum to piggyback on a townie who's been very vocal from the very start. Add a couple of role-playing posts here and there and you have someone who appears to be active, not too much nor too low in the activity radar. Day 1 lynches are tricky with nothing much to go about but a few behavioral reads on several posts, so I wouldn't claim my argument as solid or strong, but he's just the one who strikes me the most as scummy. So I'll Vote: Li'l Capt. Redblade. Of course, I'd give Redblade the chance to explain himself and I could unvote and change my vote anytime if I'm convinced I'm barking on the wrong tree. Ah now I get the concept of this lie detector, thanks for the quick lesson. I am aligned with the Town. There.
  9. This? That was my first post regarding this lie detector, which was in reaction to your previous post when you mentioned the lie detector.
  10. Yeah I understand, and no worries I don't take it personally. You're actually right about me "not having a solid plan" right now, and I've already said my piece why I did what I did (the night action suggestion, self-proclamation of honesty). If there is already a town block being formed by a more competent townie then it's great news! Even if I'm no part of that, nor I expect to be part of that anytime soon, as long as I know there is a town core forming behind the scenes then I'm all good with it. Ugn, Li'l Cornelius is right, I wasn't aware of this lie detector, so I wasn't making fun of it as I don't know anything about it. I need to read that book (EB I) and research about that. All players in Eurobricks Mafia II = all aligned with the town. There I saved the rest of the players the effort for making this silly proclamation in their posts. --- Moving on, since we have pressing matters like finding out the scum and since we're already allowed to vote, I have a couple of kids in mind, who I think are scummy I just have to compile my thoughts about this and post later... (Don't rush me again Li'l TrumpetKing! ).
  11. Yup, there you go, observe the people making fun of someone of one who simply wants to help the town. Really very helpful. When I go down somewhere along the way (as early as tonight) remember these helpful people. Silly lie detectors and stuff, Pfft. Great. Anyone else here would like to proclaim their words in an counter-productive manner as being aligned to town? They're just words anyways, right?
  12. That was not my original intention, really. I'm just merely offering an avenue for townies out there to have someone to talk to, someone they could relate to for being all alone at the start of the game, not knowing who to trust and to initially talk to. If you're a real townie you'd understand how it feels, compared to those scummos sitting pretty right now formulating plans with their scum buddies. Townies don't have that luxury at the start of the game. And with me sticking my head out there and trying my best to do what I think is best to unite the town, hopefully it would reverberate to others that I could be trusted. If what I'm doing entails assuming an early position of leadership then so be it, but I'm not lobbying to be a leader for the sake of being a leader, just trying to unite the town this early. If I see there are more capable townies out there who could step-up to be a leader, I'd happily defer to them (my game history is proof of that: Rufus was our town leader in Bloodbrick II in a losing cause, def as a neutral led us in Gotham City victory, Cornelius stepped-up to lead is in IMHOTEP.) As you see, I've never been a leader, and honestly I'm more comfortable playing in a supporting contributing role. But my intention whay I'm doing this is simply to unite the townies as early as possible, conisdering with have a daunting threat with two scum teams trying to unite themselves in the coming days. I hope you see my point there. And I'm encouraging people to broadcast their night actions in public? I never said that, and you and I and everyone knows that would be stupid. If they tell me what their night action would be in private? It's a matter of trust. I expect the townies PRs to be careful and they won't even tell anyone unless they fully trust someone. You said it yourself that it's though people's behavior that we would know who to trust is. That's what I've been doing, since I'm just utilizing the greatest power of a townie: BEING TRUE AND HONEST ABOUT YOURSELF. I'm all for all scrunity you could throw at me Li'l kids. Like I said, I have the greatest weapon of a townie: HONESTY.
  13. Patience my friend, I'm no super-boy in trying to type so fast and gather my thoughts after waking from sleep nap, plus I haven't eaten breakfast yet.
  14. Oh my Li's guys and gals (before I address those questioning me about 'volunteering' to be "leader" ) PLEASE for the love of God DO NOT in anyway reveal the structure of your role PM especially with regards if you're a recruitable townie or not - the recruiting scum team if obviously fishing info right now and you're just falling into a trap! If you insinuate in your posts that you don't know anything about being recruitable then that just gives away that you are not recruitable and that would just be beneficial to both scum teams! (recruiting scum will ignore you and will narrow down their list of 'recruitable towie' and the killing scum would just simply kill you). Please be careful on what you post!!!
  15. Hopefully the other townies would see the sincerity of my intention why I made that suggestion. There is nothing more valuable to an unorganized town this early in the game than someone to trust to. This is my way of trying to reach out of the rest of the town, hoping at least through me I've provided a much-needed headstart for the town. It's up to them if they would trust me. I have nothing to hide nor I fear getting killed this early, at least I'm doing my best to contribute and not simply trying to survive this game. How about you Li'l Pandy, what do you suggest to rally the rest of the town out there?
  16. I'm sorry but I fail to see how my simple suggestion regarding night actions "should not have been talked about in public". Li'l Jesus Hinckley also called me out regarding this, and I'm not saying my suggestion was 100% fool-proof, in fact I admit it does have many loopholes, but I made that suggestion with the intention of "reaching out to other fellow townies" out there, particularly the town doctor and/or mason. At the end of the day it's still their decision on how they'll go about with their night actions. I was simply making a suggestion and "trying to reach out publicly". You know why? Because it's tough to be a townie at the start of any game, not knowing anyone, not knowing who to trust, not knowing who to talk to first. I'm sure townies out there would feel the same way and would understand what I'm talking about. It's Day 1, and I highly doubt that a town core is forming already in private this early considering (lack of) trust issues. That's the point of discussing things publicly right? You'd be able to gauge people based on their posts, reactions, etc. Hopefully, no matter how my suggestion seem implausible or not, it would eventually lead to townies reaching out to each other and start working together. I will not just sit around here and simply listen to what others have to say, if I have something in my mind that I feel merits discussion then I would say it.

Triple Review Special: 60002 - Fire Truck

Fire-themed sets have been a staple of the LEGO Town and CITY themes (along with the Police subtheme), recurring in a few years interval in the past several years with updated versions of the Fire set ‘regulars’ (i.e. Fire Station, Fire Trucks, etc.). 2013 marks another year where we get a new line-up of Fire-themed sets. So how do these new sets look like? How do they compare with previous releases from the past years? Let’s take a closer look as I review three sets from this 2013 line-up in this Triple Review Special. In the final installment of this three-part review, I'll be reviewing the 60002 Fire Truck. Usually fire trucks have always been part of fire station sets (like this years' 60004, 2010's 7208, and 2007's 7945), but this year there is a stand-alone Fire Truck set, whose design I must admit really piqued my interest. Normally fire trucks don't interest me much, but there's something about this particular fire truck design that made me want to purchase it (and this is actually the primary reason for this Triple Review Special ). Name: Fire Truck Number: 60002 Theme: CITY | Subtheme: Fire Year: 2013 Pieces: 209 Minifigs: 2 Price: $19.99 | £14.99 Links: Brickset | Bricklink | Peeron (not yet inventoried) | LEGO Shop@Home The Box The whole set is lively presented in the boxart, with the full-blown image of the fire truck prominently displayed while our two fire-fighting heroes are getting ready for action! In fact, the fire-fighter in the left corner is already suited-up and ready to extinguishing any fire with his handy yellow fire extinguisher! And look at those water splashes – quite a nice touch I must say! The city outline background, standard blue LEGO CITY template, and set details complete the front of the box. “Hey!”, says the cartoonish Fire Fighter, who I assume is trying to get our attention to look at the various features of the set, which are nicely organized in separate panels. We are also reminded of the easy modular style of building for this set, as well as the other Fire-themed sets of this line-up. Is it just me, but I can’t help but find this image on top of the box ‘playfully naughty’. “Wet surprise coming up!”, I’m imagining this running in Mr. Bearded Fireman’s thought as he has about to unleash a splashy prank to his fellow worker. The Contents Surprised to see loose parts once again conveniently excluded from the rest of the bagged pieces… not! Two numbered bags of precious LEGO, an instruction booklet, a sticker sheet, and the two loose fire hose reel pieces are what we get from this set. The Instruction Booklet The single instruction booklet came in relatively pristine condition without any folds or creases (unlike those of 60000 and 60001). I like the fact that the cover art image is different from the boxart, something most Licensed sets don't follow. Sticker Sheet The stickers in this set are quite minimal and IMO adequately serve its purpose in giving the truck the proper details. They're of the same transparent waterslide decal material like most stickers in sets nowadays. The LEGO parts Bag #1 Contents: A mixture of bleys, black, and the standard red+white motif of the Fire subtheme. The two yellow plates are in-line with TLG’s habit of including odd-colored pieces in sets. Nothing to really to be excited about the piece selection in this bag. Bag #2 Contents: The same colors can be found in the assortment of pieces in the second bag. The contents in this bag are less but bigger (vehicle roofs, windwhield, ladders, etc.)... Pieces of Interest: Speaking of ladders, the ladder piece with side supports is a new element introduced this year and can only be found in two other Fire-themed sets. I have mixed feelings about this new ladder piece: for one it's always nice to get new pieces like this, but on the other hand I see it as a large specialized part that is borderline <insert that tiresome argument>. The 6x6 round plate looks like a ‘common’ piece, but surprisingly it is also a new element, with only four sets having this piece. Two new pieces for a small set – not bad. The Minifigures Meet our ever reliable fire-fighting duo operating Fire Engine 60002: Frank “the Prank” Fireman and Fred the Fire-Fighter (corny fictional names made up for the purposes of this review ). Frank "the Prank" the Fireman Frank is the designated fire engine operator/fire truck driver who has been in the service for 15 years. He sports a brown mustache and generally has light-hearted disposition. He wears a black overall, an orange safety vest with light-green reflectorized strip. He never leaves the station without his two-way radio strapped on his torso. And why Frank “the Prank”? Just look at his "water splash prank" attempt above. Fred the Fire-fighter Fred is one of the top fire-fighters in the service. He’s strong, brave, and dedicated to his vocation, the scratches in his face is a testament of a hard day’s work of rescue service. He wears a black overall with light green and silver reflectorized strips. A safety carabiner for dangerous high-level rescue and gas tank gauge dial is always attached in his outfit. Overall, I am quite satisfied with both of these minifigures. The fact that they have different fire-fighting outfit (torso) is a plus, and the level of detailing is quite impressive if you take a closer look at the print details (luminiscent green strips, silver reflectorized strips, pants pockets, even stitches!) The Build The 54-step modular build is divided into two main parts: Bag #1 Build At the halfway point of the build, the fire truck's chassis, driver/passenger area, and equipment storage compartment in the middle are constructed from the first bag of pieces. The build is fairly straightforward and is easily done in 28 steps. Bag #2 Build The second bag contents make up the fire truck's roof, windshield, wheels, and ladder set-up, completing the whole set as pictured above. Quite a solid-looking set I must say. Let's take a closer look at the 'star of the set', the Fire Truck... Different Views of the Fire Truck Front Quarter View This is considered as the "main view" as it features almost all of the primary features of the fire truck at one glance. The set number is also emblazoned atthe front side as FIRE 60002, cleverly assuming the designated truck number of real-life fire trucks Side View This is probably my most favorite view of the truck, as it effectively shows the length of the truck - 20 studs long to be exact - resembling the long dimensions of real fire trucks. Right Rear Quarter View The fire hose reel is located in the right rear corner and is prominently seen in this view. The stickered dial gauges give also a nice touch of realism. Left Rear Quarter View The left side is a bit 'less busy' than the other side and though not as 'sexy' as the right it still offers the same features (storage compartment entry, water inlet, equipment attachments) minus the fire hose reel. Front and Rear Views Front: Somehow the large windscreen makes the truck look more like a bus than a fire truck when viewed up front. While this windwhield piece ain't that bad, I still prefer the old 2x2x4 angled windshields used in previous fire trucks (or for most truck for that matter). Also, the set number is once again displayed as a license plate number together with the letters "JC", which is most likely the set designer's initials. Back: The back really gives an impression of a workhorse fire truck - with the white-red warning stripes, fire-fighting tools, and ladder entry. And please, do not laught at my "impeccable sticker-positioning expertise". Set Features Passenger Area and Exterior Handle Bars Left: The truck comfortably seats the two minifigures inside, with the driver in front (obviously), while the fire-fighter can sit on the passenger seat at the back. Right: Alternatively, the fire-fighter can ride the truck outside using the external handle bars (four of them, two on each side). This is one of my most favorite details in this truck, since I've seen real firemen do this kind of fire truck riding which is more 'macho' and 'adrenaline pumping' (yeah, leave the sissies sitting inside the truck ). Water Inlet-Hydrant Connection Located at both bottom corners at the back are water inlet which allows attachment of a water tube to transfer water from the hydrant to the fire truck's water hose (and thereby justifying the presence of the fire hydrant in this set). IIRC, this is the fire time this particular feature is included in LEGO fire trucks (pls. correct me if I'm wrong) [EDIT: 6593 Blaze Battler was the first fire vehicle to have this water inlet feature. Thanks to Marv for the info.] Equipment Storage Compartment and Fire Hose Reel Left: A compartment in the middle of the truck allows for storage of the fire-fighting gear (helmet, oxygen mask) and the 'water-splash' add-on for the water hose, using the yellow crate. the compartment is conveniently accessible on both sides. Right: After suiting-up with his fire-fighting gear, Fred is ready to extinguish some fire with the dedicated water hose! An observation though, it takes some efforto to completely roll out the water hose (string) as the reel is quite tight to rotate. Fire-Fighting Equipment The set gives us a generous amount of essential fire fighting equipment: fire helmet gear with oxygen tank, electric hand saw, ax, wrench (for opening hydrants), communicatin radio (which seems to be redundant with the two-way radio printed on the fireman's torso), and a fire extinguisher. It seems everything is covered except for one minor add-on I would've wanted - a simple flash light. Extendable Ladder The ladder has five angles of elevation by virtue of the pre-set angles of the click hinges. The sturdiness of the click hinge angles, though, make up for this limitation. Of course, the ladder is extendable, with a maximum height of 7-and-a-half superheores standard minifigs ~ 37 bricks high. For any modular city set-up, this fire truck can adequately attend to any multi-level fire-fighting needs of your modular buildings. The ladder can also be rotated on either direction afforded by the turntable mechanism. However, I found it surprising that it cannot be rotated a full 360-degrees as there are two door rail pieces acting as stop mechanisms. Though after second thought this set-up does make sense as real life fire trucks always situate in front or at the side of the fire area, and never with their backs facing the area with fire. Comparison with Real-life Fire Trucks I've scoured through hundreds of fire truck images on the internetz trying to find the closest real life fire truck resembling this 60002 Fire Truck model, and this is the closest match I've seen: "Ladder Truck 13" from Air Force Fire Protection, MacDill AFB Florida - from the four-wheels, ladder type, storage compartments, and just the overall length, size, and look. Though I understand the designer most probably didn't base the 60002 Fire Trucks' design on a single reference model but rather got inspiration from various real-life fire truck models. Comparison with previous LEGO Fire Trucks Over the years, TLG has released various fire trucks/fire engines mostly as part of fire station sets (7208, 7945, 60004), but there has been also stand-alone Fire Truck sets like 7239 (with a life boat set-up attachment) and this year's 60002 Fire Truck. Below is the comparison image of these fire trucks (though in my hast forgot the fire truck from 60004 Fire Station ). From Left to Right: 7945 - 7239 - 7208 - 60002 (LXF Sources: BrickWild - 7945, roamingstudio - 7239, Costy - 7208) I think for the most part I like the overall design of 60002 better than the previous fire truck models. For me, this year's version closely resembles the general look of real-life fire trucks on top of the essential fire-fighting features. The other previous models have their own positives (7239 & 7945's ground stabilizers and safety box), but this year's model has the 'most complete' fire-fighting features compared to the other previous fire trucks. Though this is not to say that 60002 is perfect, I actually have a couple of constructive criticisms about it: The windscreen, like I previously mentioned, could have been better with the standard truck windshields; and I wish the truck could have been longer, probably 3-4 studs longer to accomodate another pair of wheels at the back which will give it a monster fire truck look. The good thing though is that these perceived minor shortcomings of this model are easily addressed through simple modifications (that's the beauty of LEGO afterall ), so it's not really a huge issue at all. Comparison with other LEGO CITY Trucks Here is a comparison of the 60002 Fire Truck with other recent CITY trucks: (LXF Sources: PsyKater - 60016, 60018, Sjuip - 4434, Costy - 4432) My initial concern that this fire truck 'could've been longer' seems to be justified in this comparison pic - as it is clearly shorter than most of the other CITY trucks - which is a bit disappointing since I consider fire trucks (like the reference image above) as 'monster workhorses'. Here is another view comparing the lengths of the trucks: (LXF Sources: PsyKater - 60016, 60018, Sjuip - 4434, Costy - 4432) Rating the Set: Design – 9/10 Except for a few missed minor personal preferences, the design is very well thought-of and executed and this fire truck is probably the 'most complete' (functionality) and 'best-looking' (aesthetics) fire truck LEGO has ever released. Build – 7/10 There really was no overwhelmingly clever technique nor a new building style to be admired in this set. Everything was just the standard straightforward building process we've all been accustomed to. Parts – 8/10 The two new pieces are always welcome, but the rest are relatively common. The reds will definitely be useful in MOCs for other themes. Minifigures – 8/10 Gotta give credit to the surprisngly good detailing of the figs, even for a non-Licensed theme such as CITY (just goes to show the consistency of high quality of minifigs across all LEGO themes ). Also loved the fact that both figs have distinctly different roles (outfit) and personalities (facial differences). Playability – 9/10 Compared to trucks of similar price point (Dump Truck, Ambulance, Garbage Truck, Cement Truck), this has more playability features that would keep a young'n busy playing for hours imagining himself as a fire-fighter. Price – 9/10 The price is consistent with the other truck set releases of years past, so the price is not an issue. (Actually I got this at even lower price than the SRP here in Singapore ) Overall: 83% TRIPLE REVIEW CONCLUSION: We've come to the end of our Triple Review Special, and after reviewing three sets of this year's new Fire sets, I feel that TLG did quite a good job at reinventing the CITY Fire product line, giving us fresh takes of the Fire set regulars that are significant improvements over previous releases. IMO, it was a good idea for them to release three small sets featuring three different Fire-themed vehicles that would work as stand-alones or as a combined group, like this batch I got! For a decent price of $39, you'd be able to assemble a 'Fire Squad' or a 'Fire Task Force' having a fire truck, a fire car, and a fire motorcycle ready for action, ably manned by a competent group of firefighters with their unique capabilities and strengths. What more could you ask for? Thank you very much for taking the time to read and take a look at this series of reviews. 'til next time! You could also look at my previous reviews if you haven't seen it yet. 60000 - Fire Motorcycle Review 60001 - Fire Chief Car Review
  18. I must admit it takes a lot of balls for Li'l Cornelius to step up to the plate and volunteer as mayor, and while that doesn't guarantee that he's 100% town, it speaks volumes of his intentions, noble if he's indeed town, and stupidly bold if he's scum as I don't see why a scummo would want to put the spotlight on them this early and be subject to scrutiny (a.k.a. investigation/recruit, potential kill target). I have a suggestion to somehow remove the fears of holding the mayoral position at least for today: how about the town doctor protect the mayor and the town mason recruit/investigate him tonight? That way, we could 100% verify if CM is indeed town, if he is then we'll have a trusted townie from this early who could lead and rally the town. With the town doctor protecting him, then we remove the possibility of him getting scum killed (barring any miraculous block on the doctor on the scum side). Besides, this is Day 1/Night 1, the town doctor/mason/investigator would have have better target in the mayor compared to randomly picking someone else out of the blue, right? The only loopholes I see with this one is how the town mason/investigator would publicize the night action results. We need another trusted and brave townie to be the spokesperson (much like a legendary townie Hinckley in the epic books I've read). Also, false investigation/recruitment results by the scum would also be a hindrance. Like I said, I'm very much willing to, just like Li'l Murdock. I'm also open for verification/investigation if needed, I don't fear it, only those coward scum dimwits do. Whether it'll be me or Li'l CM or any other Li'l Kid here, it would be of the best interest of the town to protect and investigate/recruit the mayor tonight like I suggested above (unless by any major miracle that the town doctor finds/verifies/trusts the town mason today then that would be a better course of action night action-wise).
  19. Yes, because: a) I believe voting for Mayor isn't much of a big deal. If it was a one and only unchangeable lynch vote then I wouldn't have carelessly cast my vote like that. b) My one vote isn't crucial as it can be easily overturned by the majority. What weight does my one measly vote have against 20 more votes? I'll reiterate again, the vote was made as a light-hearted welcome joke to Li'l Walter, if people would take it the wrong way then I can't do anything about that.
  20. It was supposed to be a nomination made in jest, but I guess it rubbed some sensitive people the wrong the way. I honestly see no danger in being Mayor (and I have no prior knowledge of what happened in previous games). But if people are going to chicken out for holding this historically dangerous position, then I might as well 'volunteer'. I realize I can't unvote Li'l Walter and then vote for myself, but the majority could still nominate me to 'punish' for my 'cuteness' and 'meanness'.
  21. Yeah what's the big fuss about being Mayor? When did a tie-breaker position become dangerous?
  22. Killers among kids? Why on earth would young people like us kill? I don't understand why. I'll ask my mommy when I get home. Isn't it recess time yet? I'm getting hungry, and for the nth time, I have an ice cream yet again for snack. I hate ice cream, it's cold and boring, not much excitement. Oh well, not much I can do about it... Then I'll get the ball rolling and nominate you as our Mayor. Mayor: Li'l Walter Kovacs. It's been a while we've seen you here in school pal, nice to have you back.

    Marvel Cinematic Universe

Spidey will always be known as a mainstream solitary superhero, sure he has appeared as member of some superhero teams, but only die-hard comic book fans know that. Just ask people from the street and they'd tell you they only know Spidey as Spidey, not as a member of the Avengers, new Fantastic Four, Heroes for HIre, etc. I'd personally prefer for Spidey not to become a regular member of the Avengers MCU. But I do want him to make a one-movie apperance in one of the Avengers movies, I think that would work well for keeping Spidey's "one-man show" reputation and also pleasing those fans who want to see him battle with the Avengers. Marvel would be happy with his cross-over appearance, Sony would be happy piggybacking with the Avenger;s $ucce$$, Marvel fans would be happy to see prominent superheroes fighting together, everybody's happy!
  24. *sigh* Last thing Li'l KDM needs is more school work...
