Review: 70008 - Gorzan’s Gorilla Striker
MikroMan replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
While I'm not really a fan of Chima, after this review, I'm seriously considering buying this set. The mech is quite cool and I love gorilla figs -
Review: 10228 Haunted House
MikroMan replied to mostlytechnic's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ugh, now you're tempting me to open one of my sealed ones -
I just picked up a Sopwith Camel and a Passenger train
-
I guess it depends if you want to try something similar again or not. I don't normally keep records of my failed MOCs, but I keep LDD files for stuff that didn't come out well, because they either contain interesting building technique or I hope I might get back to it one day.

I've always wanted to get into Arduino, and I hope I'll have some time this summer to start trying it out
-
Hi there, I'm also a regular robot builder and I agree that NXT components are way too expensive, so for any ''interesting'' projects, it's best if you build your own circuit. Are you doing it with Arduino?

AMazing, this is great! I've wanted to build something like this ever since they released Monster FIghters theme.

Discussion on what differences there are for AFOLs and CFOLs in LEGO
MikroMan replied to RaincloudDustbin's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, if I'm buying a set, I'll first build it, display it for some time and then integrate it into my MOCing collection. Obviously, when a kid build a set, he display it for a maximum of 5 minutes, then he plays with it until he redners it down into 20 separate pieces. Then, he'll rebuild it with some parts of his own and repeat the process. So from this standpoint we can easily see why play features are needed. But as others have said, why does LEGO include play features with AFOL-oriented sets? -
Ene though I don't know Skylanders, this thic is awesome I absolutely love the cyclops mushroom

SOrry, I meant stuff like navigation lights on a plane... Google some photos, USS Enterprise show them on the lower part of the saucer, if I remember correclty
-
Since it's Enterprise, he can hardly do any other colors while staying true to the design... But I'd add some signal lights (1x1 round tiles), maybe trans-blue/red/yellow.
-
Welcome to the forums I'm also a fellow Star Trek fan. I like the way you've designed the engine part, but as you said, the saucer part should be thinner. What about trying to stack some plates in a disc shape, with different diameters?

Really nice shape and I love the front wheel.

Hey, I'm right there with you I hope the DNS servers update within a few hours or at least a day...
-
Twitter page says you should try to reboot, though I have no idea why... From FB page. Try Google's public DNS servers for workaround. EDIT: @Grimmbeard: Their FB page says that all transactions were backed up prior to moovin between the datacentres so everything should be okay.
