Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
synbiote replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
upon my arrival back in mitgardia.. wondering through the tundra.. Some guy walked up to me.. Saying that he was a Photographer. had some weird contraption & whole lot of something he called "Flashpowder" with 'm. Had to be something new & dwarven..cause there was a dwarf carring a keg on it's back.. Anywho.. he stole my soul & put it on a piece of paper.. fairly odd that it didn't change a lot for me... Here is the piece of paper he gave me. My first mitgardian sigfig :) Can you guess what set i stole the scenery from? -

Hello, Synbart of Stevarsholm looking for a place to stay in Mitgardia. Have been raised as the son of a merchant.. have seen many a place, but as they say: There's no place like a snowy home. sigfig coming soon. -
It sure looks nice :)..really nice.. Maybe join a LUG to get cheaper access to bricks every once a year? Maybe we can join hands & expend on modules :).

Still not a guild member, still need to pick a side. Thorshaven's presence only made it harder.. My wife stealing almost all my dark bluish grey & white to make a hilside for the winter village displayed at the event surely didn't help :).. Surely enjoyed meeting Kabel & i see my camera battery did better work for you than it did for me (it was so crowded everywhere..i couldn't take a single picture).. i did get inspired & lots of lovely idea's brewing in my head.. Now only the lego's to make it work .. looking forward to working together and make that HUGE table filled to the edges with Historica :)

thx Sebues for this nice report. as a participant (2nd time) i am still impressed with the work that my companions have delivered. LJ Hornblower with his massive army & coastal fortress, Damaximus with Kaliphlin port city Mpya Stedor. Bonaparte with his impressively detailed ships (Personally love the Xebec) it again was a ton of stress to get everything built (starting just 2 weeks in advance surely didn't help) The kids loved it & also a lot of the parents were amazed by the level of detail & awesomeness of this HUGE layout.. Special thumbs up to LJ Hornblower who not only manage to hurt his foot while attending, but also for keeping our sails full fo wind in this layout. @ Bonaparte: even more sea ? :o good thing it didn't go by the "BYOB" principles (bring your own Baseplates) it had already spent all BeLUG's blue baseplates & almost all of LJ Hornblower's. looking forward to a futur collaboration . Sincerely. Synbiote

so much love for the big forts & ships.. So little for the little village that just didn't want to go.. even after they shot my cow... damned red coats.. musn't forget Inge for all her posing of the red & blue coats & the "landscaping" ... also.. what happened to those 3 wandering cows?

Hello kind people of EB. i'm kinda new here..as in: i recently made an account.. have been lurking these forums for a while (the pictures..the pictures) and thanks to member Damaximus.. I decided to join.. only got out of my dark ages about 3 years ago with kingdoms sets.. so now i'm focusing on castles, medieval & pirates stuff.. i'm also a member of the BeLUG (Belgian LUG) and have done only 3 events yet..so i'm pretty new & still expanding my collection of bricks. My first goal wil be getting introduced to the wonders of LOH :).. Kind regards. Synbiote
