Me too, I thought it would fall out of his hands while swooshing, but it didn't happen.

The effects of longterm lego building to your hands.
green dewback replied to k_peek_2000's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I get calluses on the left side of my right index finger after doing 2 hours of housework every week but it will soften pretty fast. 2 years ago after I completed my 10030 in 9+9hours both my hands were red and sore. -
Its pretty decent for a 7-stud-wide vehicle. Lego "walls" are much thicker than real life counterparts, so they take up more of the interior space leaving less for real use.

Floating "lego" boat video - with humans onboard
green dewback posted a topic in General LEGO Discussion
Reminds me of the glued raincoat boat that escaped from Alcatraz. The boat is not fully built with plastic bricks, it looks like foam board for the bottom. Funny seeing it crumble apart and taking in water. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1cf_1238295018 Video is 9minutes long. -
The legs look like chocolate.

Which Clone Era is your favourite & why?
green dewback replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The blue ARC troopers from the 2003 2d animated clone wars were the best, the closest thing to it is the Captain Rex minifig. Since Palpatine was able to sneak in the order66 code into the republic army without the Jedi knowing, it makes it possible for Obi-Wan and Yoda to sneak into some secret control room and activate some random order69 - making the clone "stormtroopers" rebel against their officers or just suicide. Instant win for the Rebel Alliance. Its the same reason why trade federation droids on naboo all stopped fighting when the control is killed. Don't put all the eggs in 1 basket. Just speculation, reading from Wookiepedia is interesting. -
Everyone are welcomed to copy the above mods, I posted them to share.

Which Clone Era is your favourite & why?
green dewback replied to CloneCommanderDelta7's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Cloning were used to a lesser extend in Stormies as Darth Sidious knew the weakness of a clone army, which is mass-rebelling against their master. ep2 clones are my favourite, the details on their helmet are better than CW clones. No fleshy neck visible too. -
I believe its THIS poster ? *I don't have it, grabbed the picture off google* Back on last year 26 July, I was one of the first few to wait for the Lego shop to open and grab the 7676. I was informed there was this free poster to come along with it but I was so early the poster shipment didn't came yet. As that was the time I broke out of my "dark age", I didn't anticipate going back to that store so I turned down the offer to pick it up next time. Went back there 3 times since and I received news that it closed down last month.

Early pictures of 2009 summer sets

The "slope" piece are horizontal at the connection point, so it would be a bumpy ride instead of a simple giant "drop". -
Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
green dewback replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Kept all my boxes & instruction booklets too, takes up a lot of space. Extra effort needed to protect them from dust & sunlight just like the bricks. -
Welcome to Eurobricks ! Great use of the helicopter windscreen piece. Now you can splash water on it from the front and it would keep the minifigs inside dry. Can you take pictures of it floating on water ?

Linear Actuators VS Pneumatics
green dewback replied to DeBriquesEtDeBlocs's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I don't like recharging or changing batteries for toy, it's such a chore. The good thing about the pneumatic pump and hose is you can build a working submarine with umbilical cord. Its disappointing to see the local Lego community doesn't really discuss or play with technics or pneumatic, I had been offering a 8455 at much lower price compared to bricklink and nobody wants it. I'm inexperienced with overseas selling or mailing packages so thats not a option. -
lemonparty and meatspin are explict shock sites, few years ago it was popular to send those URL to your unsuspecting friends on MSN. Really nasty stuff. DO NOT GO THERE ! You can know more about it on google, but just dont click the real URL.

Lemonparty & Meatspin Shaky animation as I don't have a tripod or decent lamp. Took this lying on the floor with my head and camera on a skateboard. Luke with a lemon in a cup. The Meatspin BBQ The labour droid Full view For those who know what my title meant, yes I choose it on purpose.
