  1. TRU has free shipping over 500 KR, that was marked out on the site. Btw, is there a Lego Store in Norway? Or is Denmark the closest? And in that case, will a purchase from someone in Norway be sent from Denmark?
  2. I dunno, it's 100 KR cheaper online at TRU. But I have to change my address, the new postal number my area got not long ago, with the last digit replaced, doesn't go through for some reason. And the VIP points are tempting. Btw, how does the VIP points work? The Lego store gives 189 VIP points for the crane at 1899 KR. Is it like 1 point = 1 krone?
  3. Ah hell, I'm buying 42009 too I need the tires and a bunch of yellow beams and pins
  4. Yeah, that's the "problem". I like yellow, but I think there's been too many yellow sets in the last years. Regarding construction machines, Volvo seem to use mainly yellow on their excavators, haulers and loaders. But there are others like Daewoo and Hitachi which use orange on their machines. And Terex use white on their mobile cranes and excavators. There's more options than simply using yellow on everything labeled "construction machines".
  5. I don't mind yellow, but I have to agree that the number of sets in yellow is getting high. I think that for a few years now, they should start keeping yellow to a minimal and use other colors. They could very well bring orange into a few bigger sets, 42008 to 8110 size, maybe combined with gray. Or dark blue and gray like in 8052, that's something I'd love to see more of.
  6. Ah, forget it. I thought about that, but it appeared to be in the wrong section. Blame the eyes
  7. No offence, but isn't this in the wrong section? Model looks good, though, not too big for my personal taste, but big enough to offer details and reasonable size.
  8. Yeah, like the 200 KR toll limit here in Norway. It's been on that level since the 70's if I recall correctly, but the problem is that 200 KR is less worth today than it was back then. Even small Technic sets aren't that far off. The Mini Container Truck in your avatar, 9390 Mini Tow Truck and the new 42001 Mini Off-Roader are all 100 KR, 42002 Hovercraft is 150 and 9392 Quad Bike and 42004 Mini Backhoe Loader are 200. And from those I've bought and those I can judge by pics, they're all relatively small. The toll limit is too low for the value of money today. Ours should be raised to at least 1000 KR.
  9. People who buy as many sets as possible just to resell them for insane prices and earn money on other people's "needs", should be ashamed of themselves. But there's nothing we can do about it. If it hadn't been limited to 20.000 sets, TLG could have mass produced it and sold it cheaper so that all those who bought to resell at insane prices, also had to go down in price and didn't earn anything
  10. I'm sure alot of people have been bothered before by the old 8 tooth gear moving between pin holes. Either way, if the new one is stronger, that's good, especially for those who build and drive offroad trucks and damage old 8 tooth gears.
  11. London is at timezone 0. + goes to East, towards Asia, - goes to West, towards USA. Europe has GMT +1, so that's where you're at.
  12. Someone take all their income from reselling, as a fine
  13. Those of you who refuse to pay ridiculous prices at eBay, Bricklink etc. should do that, and show those sellers that at least some of you are too clever to get fooled
  14. EUR 499 ?!? *jaw drops to the floor* Even with the price in NOK, I could have bought 2 cranes and still had some money left
  15. I say it I usually build various MOCs, and spend alot of the time modifying them, but I'm not into gearboxes and such. I don't have the brain to come up with things like that on my own. So such parts are useless to me.
  16. If you do get an order confirmation, you should be guaranteed to get it. They wouldn't send you a confirmation if you were to not get it.
  17. Good one I haven't made up my mind yet, which, knowing myself, will take some time. I got some money refunded from my taxes for last year, + some money for some small jobs I've done, so adding them up I can buy the crane and technically pay maybe less than half of the full price. Going by that, I can buy it and just give away the parts I don't want or need. I keep all of my parts in a few sorting boxes, and I already have 1 tray full of 3x5 L-shaped beams, and 1 tray full of gears. In addition I have all the "gearbox" gears with pin holes and stuff separate, and it's just too much. And more will come if I buy the crane. So, if I buy it, I can very well send the gears and stuff I don't want or need to you, skriblez, if you want them
  18. So I just saw the 41999 on the shop site for the first time, as I was on the wrong site before, and here it also says "Out of stock, expected ship date 5 Sep 2013".
  19. S@H priced the Mobile Crane MK II at KR1899 some time ago, when I could see a price in Norwegian currency. Now I get redirected from lego.com/nb-no/ to lego.com/en-US/ when I click on the marker to find out the price. Right now, KR1899 is around $321 (xe.com). The TRU price is KR1799, which is around $304. I'm still not sure if I should buy the crane, there's too much of the parts I neither want or need. It's too much gears and small/bent beams I don't need, and too much 2L black pins. I want to build the truck from the B-model, but I wonder if I should just try to order parts I want and need from Bricklink instead of buying this set. I'll only end up with way to much parts I don't want, which will end up in the garbage or something.
  20. Yep, just checked TRU, they have both 42008 and 42009 100 kr cheaper than S@H.
  21. I saw a YT video of the Bigfoot a few months ago. I'd actually call it beyond ridiculous with those insanely huge tires on. Dat wheel
