Not greener, I'd say, but green nevertheless

I once got a Playmobil pirate ship for Christmas or something, many years ago. I still have it, displayed on the top of a cupboard in my living room

Things non-AFOLs say WAY too often

    Haha, funny as hell

Have you ever got someone into Lego?

I've got my 47 year old neighbor fascinated by the Technic models I have and the MOC's I've made
  4. Personally I don't view the space shuttle as a set worth to own. I had it once, but to me it was a boring model, and additionally I've never been fond of studded beams. The only opinion I have about it is boring and ugly. But that's me.
  5. No surprise, as the majority of construction machines seem to be yellow. And the most known manufacturers (to me) like Volvo, Caterpillar, JCB and Komatsu all use yellow as the primary color, combined with black. Personally I see most yellow, from the mentioned brands. But I see orange machines much as well, like Hitachi excavators. The 3rd most used color I've seen is white. Until a few years ago, there was a white Terex wheel excavator in my town, and there was a quite large white Terex mobile crane downtown a few years ago when our mall was expanded. At the construction site there was also a smaller red mobile crane, but I don't remember the brand.
  6. rm8 as the creator of the set should be allowed to get 2 sets anyway, but otherwise it would have been the most fair to have a limit of 1 set per customer. And the idea of an automatic limit could work well.
  7. Are those big gray things rocks? It kinda looks like something I'm not gonna name
  8. Another funny number would be 07734, making "hello" upside down
  9. Small, but nice, seeing as it is from a small set with limited parts.
  10. That really sucks, especially when they should know by now that you're a good customer who only buy their products for your own joy and nothing else I hope you find a solution to this.

    What did you buy today?

Ordered Technic 42009 Mobile Crane MK II from the Norwegian shop.lego.com yesterday.
  12. Yes, Norwegian TRU are cheaper than S@H too. They sell 42009 100 KR / ~ $15 cheaper.
  13. I agree. When it comes to special limited sets like 41999, they should put a limit of 1 per customer, to allow more people who really wanted it, to buy it.
  14. LOL, I didn't even notice these mistakes until now.
  15. The ultimate dream situation - you want something badly, and almost no one else meet up to buy the same thing
  16. If they make a new truck in a few years, they could make it purple maybe with yellow details. I think that would look awesome.
  17. I bought the 9393 Tractor in early January, my 2nd set after my dark age. It's a bit too small for a proper tractor IMO, but not bad. I suppose all of those 3 provide useful parts and a nice model. I would go for the 9393. As for features, it has a sort of harvester or something attached to its back, which is linked to the right rear tire with gears and rotates when it's folded down and the tractor rolls.
  18. I recently checked out the 8052 Container Truck on pics, and I have to say it looks very good in blue and gray. I vote for more use of that.
  19. It would be funny to see anyone try to sell a copy of 41999 on BL or eBay with a license no. exceeding 20.000, and then get caught because they missed the fact it only goes to 20.000
  20. Me too. After an overload of yellow including 42009 and 42006 this year, I'd vote for orange as main color on construction machine sets for a while.
  21. Oh, I'd like to see them do a proper John Deere with lots of green personally I prefer "normal" tractors with wheels, but that one ain't bad either.
  22. True. Well, I have ordered the 42009 from the Lego Shop, and signed up for a VIP membership
  23. That's gotta be the best price you'll ever find for 42009, so buy it! The best price I've found in Norway is 1799 NOK, roughly 1700 DKK. skriblez mentioned 1670 NOK somewhere though, roughly 1579 DKK.
