Picked this set up at Legoland Windsor yesterday, for £39.99. Had to get it because i havnt seen it in any retail outlet in my area. The snowspeeder looks impressive, but at first i thought that the pilot Luke was identical to the Luke from 9493 x wing . I was hoping for a Hoth Han, or maybe a gunner

I was going to swap the battle of Hoth Luke with my son, for one of his other Luke incarnations but after seeing the differences i think i'll keep him !

Ooh, nice, thanks. I suppose Luke had to be in there for the snowspeeder (which i am sooooooo happy to finaly have) but i agree about the gunner. General Reekian (?) Looks nice on the box art too.

My wife and i took our two children to Legoland Windsor yesterday for my birthday and my son bought Palpatines arrest while i picked up the Battle of Hoth and the new Desert Skiff. Looking forward to building those when we get home ! Can somebody tell me, is the Luke Skywalker from battle of Hoth set the same as Luke from the 2012 x wing ? Or is there a difference ? I think i would have rather had a hoth Han Solo than another Pilot Luke.

How about some 'Order 66' battlepacks ? Yoda + 2 clones + a wookie. Included with a small Kashyyk command post + escape pod. Aayla Secura (?) + three clones includes small tank/speeder. Senator Organa (?) + two clones + Jedi youngling, includes landing platform OR small airspeeder. General Kenobi + commander Cody and two regular clones. Includes Kenobis Boga (?)mount and/or small cannon. Anakin/Vader +a clone + two random Jedi / or two jedi younglings. Includes a small corridor set. Ki Adi Mundi + two clones +super battledroid. Includes bridge scenery section. Id buy theses @£15-20 gbp ! The clones in each set could be from different legions with armour decals to signify which. The included vehicles only need be small sets, the rebel scout speeder type. You could build an awesome diorama if you collected the series !

Hi, does anybody here know if the Sun newspaper is going to be running their Lego polybag giveaway in the UK this summer ?? I grabbed a boxload of Star Wars and Batman minis last year and could do with some more !

Theres nothing to say this is a May 4th promotion on the page though, so could be up for a while ?

This looks like it could be easily modded into the UNSC marines APC from 'Aliens' !

I was just going to bump this with that same observation. This looks so much nicer than the official set. Well done sir... A awesome vision of possibly the best scene (Palpatines arrest) in eplll. Although it would be nice to see someone tackle the Sith mural on Palpatines wall, possible with some carefull greebling i think ? But im not sure if its in that actual chamber now i come to think of it. I'll have to re watch eplll with my son (again) to check that

Sorry to revive this! Ive recently purchased the A wing. I found it down from £25 to £20 (uk) so snapped it up. I love this little ship, nice and compact and clean looking. Love the colour scheme too. Few too many stickers but not realy a problem, although couldve done with at least a printed canopy. Love the minifigs! That a wing pilot! And Ackbar ! With two small children i cant realy justify buying the big sets, so never thought i would get my hands on the characters like Han or Ackbar but the A wing bought the goods home, yay ! All in all, a very good set i think.

Hi, first time posting here. Ive only recently started collecting lego models from the original trilogy, my 9 yr old son has been collecting stat wars lego for a couple years now and has loads and ive slowly been getting more into it. Im only realy into the OT stuff though, being an *ahem* older person. Anyway, ive recently picked up the new x wing the new tie, the new A - wing and the hoth and endor battlepacks. I dont have a lot of spare money, with two young children and a wife so im going to have to wait a few weeks for my birthday so that i can get the new desert skiff (figs look awesome) and maybe lukes landspeeder. Sorry i dont know the set no.s yet !
