EBay the set ? You might get lucky. I recently picked up 7657 New in box for £28 with free delivery. And I certainly saw rogue shadow on there relatively cheap (no figs mind)

    [MOC] TIE Advanced Mobile Suit

Croms Teeth!!! That is beautiful ! Has he made more of these ? Those 2 minutes were better directed/ animated than the entire prequel trilogy and most of the CW tv series together! If this guy does a series it will rival the Genndy Tartakovsky shorts

What are your Lego Star Wars collecting habits?

My son has the Gunship and it is a nice set. He also has the Infiltrator and I actually quite like the 'cockpit' section of the ship. But the front end is not good at all.

What are your Lego Star Wars collecting habits?

I only collect OT sets, being from that era myself ! I really don't like the CW stuff but my son collects PT and CW so I do get to see them and I think some of the PT sets are nice. I'm limited by family budget but after a year or so my humble OT collection stands at: 9493 x wing 9492 tie fighter 750014 battle of hoth 75003 a wing 9496 desert skiff 8092 Luke's landspeeder 7657 at st 7965 millenium falcon 8097 slave 1 2x hoth imperial battlepacks 2x hoth rebel battlepacks Endor battlepack Assorted odd minifigs I think that's it. Generally on a rotation to be displayed on my shelf but all in their boxes at the moment : )

That's a good little mod! Hey...has the top of this set been modded slightly, or maybe the engines ?? My sets are all in their boxes at the moment so I havnt seen 9493 for a while, but it looks different somehow ? But back on topic...yes! But this set before it disappears! 9493 and 9492 Tie Fighter are the OT sets that bought me out of my dark ages! Definitely worth picking up before they become rare and expensive!

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors

Yes I do like the old one, but he is the only yellow 'skinned' minifig in my collection, and he looks a little out of place ! I only recently started collecting OT star wars sets and so all mine are the updated flesh colours. This Palpatine would sit nicely in with my others : )

Is Sept the release date for this book in the UK ? I only have the old yellow skinned emperor from Final Duel (?) so I would love to get this new update

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

I purchased 75014 from Legoland Windsor last summer and I think it's a very nice set : ) the snowspeeder alone is a good little build, in fact my wife helped me build the set and actually admitted to enjoying herself !

UCS Sticker Sheet Scans (My 10026 needs one!)

I think I might contact TLG and give it a try, they can only say 'no' eh. Thought I might wash the stickers off the parts that are peeling and leave them bare, but that would drive my ocd insane!

Thank you, they look great. Is there any way to mod the Falcons cockpit for two minifigs?

    [MOC] AT-ST 3.0

This looks really good. It seems a lot more 'substantial' than previous Lego versions, I think brickdoctor is right though...it needs more of a angle on the 'cheeks' of the head. I like your solution to the twin side cannons, using a t bar piece by the look of it. Maybe the anti blast shields over the viewports could be a little bigger but that's just me. My favourite official version of the at st is 7657 because it looks solid and armoured, but the legs on yours look better somehow

    Future Star Wars Minifigs

Maybe an updated Tusken Raider ? With dengar-style headgear instead of just a print ? Or a new Dagobah or Bespin Luke ? But in a more affordable/easier to find set?

Does anybody have any simple but effective mods for 9596 Falcon, or 8097 slave 1, to improve them aesthetically ? Not that they don't look good as they are, but maybe to 'greeble-ise' them a bit more ?

    [MOC] Cloud City Playset

This is cool! I built a ninjago castle with my little boy the other day out of old school Lego, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, so I can imagine the fun you had building this : )

UCS Sticker Sheet Scans (My 10026 needs one!)

I've just purchased a couple of sets off of ebay, and have just noticed that some of the stickers are peeling...would it be feasible for me to phone TLG and request New dss sheets ? Or would that be a bit TOO cheeky?

    Project: Aliens - Colonial Marines

Oops, sorry I rarely stray from the star wars theme boards so didn't see that thread. Those figs look fantastic though! I love your Ripley. Absolutely brilliant. How about the 'rescue' team of Marines from Alien3 ? You could maybe attempt the prisoners of Fiorina 161 too ? Sorry posted in wrong thread! Sorry posted in wrong thread! What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

Even though I only collect OT sets, even I know that ^^ is a cracking bargain! I would've been tempted to pick up a PT set like that for that price! I scour our local car boot every summer sundays, and I've never yet seen a star wars Lego set! I picked up a load of classic He Man figures one week last summer for 50p each and narrowly missed out on a Vader replica helmet ( me: "it's quite big, I'll pick it up on the way back to the car". Vendor promptly sells it to next person who comes along...doh!!!!) but I have yet to even see SW Legoat the 'boot : (

    Lucky LEGO finds

Nice. We don't often get any decent sales on star wars Lego here in the UK. The best I can hope for In my area is 20% off a few battlepacks, and large sets on ebay UK are usualy snapped up, or run to ridiculous prices. so I consider myself lucky to have found 3 decent sets in one sitting for a half way respectable price. The only minifigures that I actually really really want are Bossk and Vader....Bossk has always been one of my favourite OT characters. Even when I was little I prized my kenner toy Bossk action figure!
  19. Wow these look amazing! I wish I had the money to order a squad! I love Drake, Vasquez and Frost...very characterful. Maybe next you could try: a battle damaged Hicks, with bandages and melted armour? Lieutenant Gorman ? Burke ? And how about a Bishop, with a knife or motion tracker? And the ultimate : a Ripley, with pulse rifle and flamer 'taped' together ? Keep it up...if I hit some money in the future I may be ordering a full movie cast!

    Lucky LEGO finds

I don't know if this is classed as a lucky find, but I picked up 7965 Millenium Falcon and 8097 Slave 1 for £70 on eBay yesterday. No minifigs but I reckon it was a very good deal even without. I basically got a half price Falcon (soon to be discontinued) and had a free Slave 1 (discontinued?) thrown in ! I'm going to source Bossk, Carbonite Han, Vader, Luke and Leia from bricklink as I already have new Boba, Han and Obi Wan. I'm doubly pleased as I was about to buy the Falcon New and that would've cost me almost twice what I paid for the two ships.

Just purchased 7965 millenium Falcon and 8097 Slave1 from eBay!! For £70 !!!!!!!! No minifigs but I've been looking on bricklink and they're cheap enough. My little boys going to be impressed !!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Ok thank you. I was scouting eBay for some ot figs that I need and bricklink seems the far far cheaper option! They want £18 odd for 8097 Bossk!!?

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Ok noob question here...how does bricklink Work ? Do you have to order in bulk, or could I order one part / minifig at a time ? Do you order directly through bl or do they just direct you to a seller? I'm in the UK
