LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Yeah, a long post. Anyway, why would they want to sever timelines! THAT'S INSANE! Just because they made the character Han Solo and employed Harrison Ford to act as him doesn't mean that they have to do stupid things like that (no offense, but piloting a freighter even if it is the Millenium Falcon to and back from the Death Star is a very stupid thing if seen by a practical person). It makes no sense if the CTTs were put into service at that time and another thing...blah blah blah (I will stop talking to avoid another long post about CTTs and their time of service)

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

It says 'Show Your Army & Home Display' not just your army. But please show your vehicles as well, I did't but I have done before. I thought I would just show a portrait of my squad.

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?

I just like clones as they can be used for anything. The other minifigure would have to be the rebel trooper from the battle pack of 2008.

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

ADHO does know everything! If the TIE pilots are the same as the new AT-AT helmets but in black then that would make them an awesome minifigure in my eyes again. Oh that picture of the video game (moustache) commander character who gets shot by the AT-AT after he blasts it with his upside-down camcorder-RPG thing and dies; is the guy who I was talking about a couple of pages before. Commander Fox has a point. The ARC-170 is ROTS unless the pilots of Clone Wars make a change. That would mean if the pilots don't change then the Clone Turbo Tank would definately be ROTS becasue Rothana Heavy Engineering would have started manufacturing them a couple of years after the ARC-170s appeared or around when they did. That would give them enough time to build such behemoths before they had official action on Felucia and Kashyyyk. Unless the robots of that fictional time would have been upgraded enough to build something with more armour and weapons than a US Abrams tank (which weighs about 70 tonnes each) than that would be quite fascinating. The Republic 'Juggernaut' that is the CTT would weight right into the hundred or even the thousands or tonnes each. At that kind of weight, its ten wide-spread wheels (which seem to have no rubber, surprisingly) would have to splay out its enormous weight and bulk of the war machine to avoid it bogging into soft terrain. So why would it be around in more than just its planning stages to tackle the seperatists in the time of Teth and all that. It does't make sense because at that time they were more intent of churning out AT-TEs and LAATs (both LAAT/i and LAAT/c) as their flagship and most useful machines at the time. When the sepertaists evolved and made more powerful machines (such as the 'mudracker' or crab droid) RHE and KDY had to build more complex and self-defensive equipment and machines that they came up with the behemoth that is best described as a 'big block of metal on wheels' or a Lego brick. There are a limited number of these too, under fifty or even 30 (I'm exercising a very well-estimated guess, here) so they must have started manufacturing these nearer to the end of the Clone Wars. So the bottom line is: The CTT shouldn't be Clone Wars. And if it is, I just wasted a whole post or I'm right and Lucasfilms doesn't know how to make a good timeline anymore.

    R21-D52, Astromech Overlord

Well, I wanted to make something out of four R2s but I only used two. This made a unit that can do double the amount of tasks of two seperate untis and combining them into one housing, making enough room for a generator to power a starship on standby, without thrusters on. This can make them incredibly useful as well for industrial and commercial companies. The regular R2 unit is for civilians and light military, very useful and can be carried in small fighters as backup pilots. Behold, the R21-D52, overlord of all astromechs, or so it claims. If I had a private security detail like that, I would be some overlord too. But what can you make out of several R2 units, including all astromechs? Only use parts from the astromechs, legs, canister torso and the dome head.

    R21-D52, Astromech Overlord

Then build something better. I don't know why it is so hard to read the post that is right in front of you. In the 2010 rumours there could be pages upon pages to read to find the new pics, but here! There isn't even a second page. If there is creativity in the contest then extra points will be rewarded to the winner of th most impressive and creative of them all, 10 points extra. EDIT: Two astromechs are enough to do something. It only takes a couple. I shouldn't get angry with you anyway.

    R21-D52, Astromech Overlord

Anyone who can make the best replacement of my one will win 3 of my own points that I scored with ADHO15's game. They will be rightfully yours and I'll notify ADHO15. 1st: 3 points 2nd: 1 point Conditions: 1. Only use the exception of Astromech parts (leg, torso and dome) 2. YOU NEED PHOTOS, OBVIOUSLY! A GOOD MIXTURE AS WELL. Good Luck

    Review 7674: The V-19 Torrent

'fastest ship in the galaxy.' Not likely, the Millenium Falcon is way faster (from what Han says anyway) and the ARC-170 looks like it could and probably can. I think the V-19 Torrent is horribly ugly and unsuited to the Republic Navy's needs. But good review.

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Maybe they are going to make a Plo Koon starfighter anyway. But Kit Fisto hasn't been sets for a while and that will bring marketing influence on kids and new collectors.

    REVIEW: 8265 Wheel Loader

Studless sets are smooth and generally look better too. If you find it boring, then skip some of the steps...

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

I didn't think they would be basing it on their own video games, and they never have before. So why now? Is it because they're running out of other things to build?

    Review: 7259 Arc-170 Fighter

I never got one of these and now I'm regretting it more. Great Review and the photos are great!

    MOC: AT-DW

Cool MOC, but to make it better maybe you could give the guy on top a turret of something with a bit more firepower. KA-BOOM!

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

A rebel commander with a moustache! That's seems to sound like the rebel in the Hoth mission in Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga and Lego Star Wars The Original Trilogy.

    R21-D52, Astromech Overlord

I just had an idea, but it seemed it failed utterly. But can anyone else make a better MOC out of R2 parts?

    ADHO15's MS Paint Characters

Gee, I wonder who will win? For voting we will have to vote for anyone BUT ourselves, right, to make it fair?

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Why would you need a different coloured C-3PO? I thought the original was OK and I don't even have one.

    R21-D52, Astromech Overlord

EDIT: It can stand upright without the use of blu-tack.

    TECHNIC Sets from 2010

More pneumatics, that's something I wouldn't buy on eBay for a ridiculous amount but am still happy about seeing them in a set, which will see them in my inventory as well. PF functions seem limited to me so pneumatics will hopefully fit the bill. I have never used them before, though... Oh and the buggy is awesome. It seems to have four pistons, according to the Lego-applied sticker. Another must-have!

Lego minifig vs. Attakus statue - just for fun

Good comparisons, I always knew that minifigures were limited, but by this much! I am not surprised.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

Those things ARE expensive!!! Did you find them, or trade for them or even got them on sale enough to buy all of them? Or a mixture of all?

    Back to the drawing board...

    112th Legion TS Bomber

It may be a bit on the blocky side but it has awesome detail. Seeing the detail and I instantly forget the blockiness of this MOC, and the blue stripes make it a real crowd pleaser!

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

That helmet is awesome! I think that battlepack will be the first set I buy of the 1st 2010 wave! Perfect, I cannot see why it is not, at least, considerably good.

    Rook's Barracuda

Ha, 'thrown together,' I can really see that when I compare it with your other MOCs, but it still is brilliant! As always!
