Review: 8063 Tractor with Trailer
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I guess if anyone wants a tractor, then buy the green one as it has a good implement/trailor. -
The Penguin's Confederate Gym. )
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That is so funny!!! I can't emphasize that enough though. All I can hear is the screeching of machine parts strained to the limit. "MY SERVOS AREN"T WORKING! I MUST NEED AEROBICS!" The detailing of the flexible mid-section of the bigger droid makes it look realistic. -
LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Who made the movie? Lego may have authorized it but in the end the screen artists who made the movie would be the ones who decided the final result of the character visual detailings. And Jaingo's Slave 1 would be the prime pick as Jaingo himself would sell like wildfire. And there may have been many details which may not be in the sets at all. Just talking as the head of the opposition, somebody has to do it. -
It is good (I'm saying don't scrap it yet) just work on the outside to make it more 'rounder' and less 'plain' to achieve a perfect MOC as the inside is roomy & great.
-
Nah, Lego couldn't do it this good! Are there plans to make a UCS Republic Gunship?
-
"Wow, sir, look at the view, I can just make out that droid sniper..." A clone spotter's final sentence. Good MOC, it has a better view then the crows nest on a Clone Turbo Tank. menq, the clone troopers up top are too busy spotting droids to look for a way down. Anyway, a ladder would compromise the 'awsomeness' of this MOC.
-
That's me! Great MOC, if Penguin's MTT moc was there it would be Clone Wars all the way. 382nd Legionnaire, do you really expect to be able to build a set of that size, and expect it to stay together without glue?!

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You do know Boba is getting a bit old now. Anyway, GG with ball joint arms, that's good and bad as the ball joints deteriorate a lot faster than normal joints (I do have enough experience with Transformers to know that ) although if the joints are metal (unlikely) they will hold up for years longer. CTT - Yay ARC- Yay BPs- Yay -
Could you tell us what the Clone Turbo Tank will approxiately look like, rockinkurt13? Sounds good though.
-
Is the Rebel Ice Cutter Speed for real, or did you get it from Star Wars wikia? Did they have a good source themselves?
-
That has a very scary or spooky feel to it, like it will get you.
-
I hope they do have a TIE Pilot that has better helmet detailing as the one from Imperial Landing Craft makes me sick! TIE PALADIN X-1 A blastboat style TIE fighter!
-
The first half of the year have cheaper sets than the bigger second half. So the ARC-170 could be the flagship for the first half then the Luke's Landspeeder or the Freeco Speeder could be the next most expensive one. I've got a feeling the TIE will be the same price as Darth Vader's TIE in 2009 and whatevers next will be the Hyena Droid Bomber pricing ($40AUD). Of course the battlepacks will be the same as always.
-
They had major roles in the movies, just think if they didn't exist then the Tuskens wouldn't be able to attack Luke at the right time and all that.

All replies are suddenly "branching tree" variety?

Gee, thanks for the help as it has happened regularly to me. -

What happens to the individual topics, when viewing posts they are bunched up as links to see the whole post instead of the posts all lined up with all words and pictures displayed. I will get a picture of what it looks like in a minute. EDIT: Oh damn, looks like I missed the other topic that seems to show what I mean. "Branching Tree Variety" Sorry. -
It may not be like that, WookieWarrior. Hopefully it would be different and have some new figures (ie tactical droid, droid commando or a new and improved droideka) Thanks for the help Pedro and Roncanator!
-
Err, I think I was a bit late, did anyone save the pics to their brickset acount because the links don't show the pictures, maybe TLC deleted them.
-
Well last year they said we were getting a TIE Defender, but that was wrong. A Tri-Droid instead of a Tri-Fighter would be good and there is a good chance there is going to be one or the other. ARC-170 is great though I hope we get good clone pilots, and a new R2 or R4 unit. Battlepacks-yay ARC-170 -yay Droid Trifighter-meh Tri-Droid -yay TIE Defender-yay Lukes Landspeeder-meh

The Empire has many ways of obtaining friends, forcefully or sarcastic friendliness. Looking back at the picture, it looks as the Empire side has a speeder bike, 3 darkish coloured troopers and some unknown blob of colour presumably a trench or something else. I can also make out an animal head, could be tauntaun or wampa. The second one (presumably Rebel) looks to have an enclosed cockpit (look to the above right of the orange figure. It looks like an enclosed speeder. There are three troopers behind the speeder and one orange one that you can't miss. To me the Empire one looks awesome. We'll find out more for sure at the end of the year when the Lego Club comes with the catalogs. Between now and then we'll get some fakes and possibly (probably) more news. All we can do is wait and search. P.S. An ARC-170 would be welcomed by me.

The Tantive Four looks good as I have been deterred by all but the two $40AUD sets (Hoth and the Droid Tank). It seems to have more room than the Republic Cruiser. It seems annoying that the sets are flawed in some ways, especially the Endor set.

Whats Your Favorite Agents Set?
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to Go Cubs Go!'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't have any, but from first impressions and the one and only one I would buy is the Agents Helicopter 2.0 2009. It has a winch and two sets of blades-the most appealing features. -
If The Clone Wars give us more Clone Variants and named clone officers then fine if they give us more decant sets. Good Acclamator!
-
Okay, maybe I have made a mistake. They are definately better than the older sets, but is this as good as it will get? The gunship was awesome and is my set flagship, my favourite, and the AT-TE and Fighter Tank are awesome too. But that was last year and this year they LOOK good but do they compare, minifigs aside/included. Are minifigs the only things (most of the time) to persuade us to buy a set nowadays.

REVIEW: 8435 4WD
CloneCommanderDelta7 replied to LordGalewind's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks pretty good, the A-arm suspension, two winches, V6 engine and the always present steering. Seems pretty good.
