    two 1923 Ford Model T automobile MOC's

The windscreen is very ingenious solution and looks spot on. Overall, I like the simple approach to the creation and yet it looks very recognizable.

    Airport Hangar - Plate Field

Very nice creation with some old school touch.

    [MOC] 99 - FARM

This is really beautiful. Especially the greenhouse and small details like nest boxes and water tap.
  4. One part that 1x1 round brick would fit inside is 2x2 barrell, but it is the same width as cannon base and consequently also wider than cannon tube itself. Do you plan to moc the entire cannon or do you only need the muzzle to be visible on the outside? In the latter case you can try with tires, this one may be the right size to fit around 1x1 round brick.

    MOC Signal box

Inspired by Faller, I built this signal box for the railway section of city diorama in our latest LUG event. I added the external staircase to access the upper floor and more windows upstairs for better view across the rails.

    MOC advice for beginner?

A similar approach that @Peppermint_M suggested was already in place by TLG itself in the (distant) past and I always found it very useful. It might look a bit archaic nowadays but it's how MOCers learnt their trade when there were no Studio, LDD, LDraw etc. around yet, and can still give you some insight on how to 'learn to moc'. Back then every box had a couple of alternate builds displayed on the back side but no instructions for them. Like for example for below set: The back of the box looked like this: This meant that you had a defined selection of available parts, one single picture of a creation that was built from these parts only and no instructions. It was then up to your imagination and creativity to either fully reproduce the creation or use the picture as a guideline to build something similar.

    Your First LEGO Set

6502 Turbo Racer The pride and joy of having flexible hoses that came in this set was beyond description at that time. And I've just realized that it's almost exactly 35 years since I got it, it happened some time late in August before the end of summer holidays.

MOC - Gee Bee Model Z Super Sportster - aircraft

Very cute creation. The runway is equally nice, with clever use of new road plates.

    Andrew Barclay Fireless

Cute little engine and posing driver.

    [MOC] Wild Jazz Trio

This is absolutely amazing. Some details are really outstanding like the plants, cymbals and antlers. But the nicest touch that adds to animal feeling are paw prints on guitar.

    [MOC] 00s Police Interceptor (6-wide)

Well done. I like how many details and functionalities you managed to squeeze in such a limited design.

    MOC Signal box

No, there is no interior, not even the floor between upstairs and downstairs. As the roof is not detachable, I didn't go for any details inside.
  13. It depends on what theme/topic you intend to moc. If starting from scratch and considering the enormous range of shapes and colours in existence, parting out appropriate sets is one of the best options to get a variety of most useful parts for beginning. For example, as I am mostly doing town and trains MOCs, the late 2000s/early 2010s creator sets, modulars and sculptures were a gold mine for such parts. And once I accumulated the basic stock of them, I started to complement them via Bricklink and PAB, as MOCs grew larger and larger...

    Absolutely the BEST Elements

My all time favourite is 1x5x4 half arch, useful for both outside detailing and inner supports. And it must be the continuous bow version
  15. I definitely like it, especially the details on undercarriage and both ends of the car.

What is your favorite Modular Buildling?

My top 3: 1) Green Grocer 2) Grand Emporium 3) Fire Brigade It's how my dark ages ended

    NER K CLass

Very cute engine. It's amazing how many details you managed to put in such a small creation.
  18. That's very nice interior you've put in all three of them. Very cleverly thought for each one to be in the context of each respective building.

    16x32 MOCs

Two of my older MOCs on 32x16 base that were used to fill the gaps and add some variety to city dioramas in our LUG events: Fast food outlet: Clock kiosk: Both together:

What is the oldest Lego set you have seen in a shop?

In 2018 I bought 6420 in a local independent toy store. There was still a sticker on the box from the company that was importing and distributing LEGO in Slovenia in 1998 (and quite a few of them have changed since then). They were also selling a similarly sized Aquazone set from the same period. Someone must have been tidying up a long forgotten warehouse

    [MOC] Corner modular building

Very nice corner building. 8 stud wide pavement looks a bit deep, but with different size it would be much more difficult to achieve such symmetry of windows and walls.

Is your member number a set number?

My number is 'something yet to be released'. Ditto for parts. The closest I get is 7243 Construction Site. Not particularly interesting set. Further reduction to 724 yields something much nicer: 12V Diesel Locomotive with Crane and Tipper Wagon.

    Food market

Well done. It is a nice and lively addition to town scenery.
  24. It took almost exactly two years from the first idea to completion of this diorama of a railway station. There is less emphasis on the station itself, as my main goal was to present it in the natural environment and have a try at building a landscape. A railway line running at the foot of the hills, with railway station and adjacent bus stop, bridge and tunnel. Station building in masonry style. Bus stop with shelter Covered bike racks Some maintenance work on underground wiring needs to be done. Functioning railway signal. The photo was deliberately taken with incorrect settings so that the light from signal could better be seen. Bridge Tunnel entrance Detail of landscape The river offers plenty of chances for recreation. Aerial view. The entire thing measures 127x77 centimeters, while the estimated brick count is at least 10.000. A few more pictures can be found here.

    MOC Rural railway station

Thanks @all for comments. The diorama won't grow any larger. It was built to the standard size of display areas at our LUG events (3x5 baseplates). And through the years I have also found out that this is moreor less the largest size that can be stored and moved around without too much trouble. So instead of expanding it something completely new will be created some time in the future.
