  1. Ah, what the hell, maybe there were too many grogs last night. This might be my last night on earth and these murderes go for authority figueres. I wish to investigate the murder of my dear friend Eskipo Land. I specifically wish to know if the murderer had hair
  2. So, either Donena is lying, or the Professor, is lying or Bananakin is playing an elaborate double game. ScottyPie, I like your theory about catching a primed scum. That means, I think, that if you think the killer is mistress Kupp, you should vote for the Professor. For those who think Donena is guilty and therefore lying, you must also question the truth of her clue, which was that the killer had hair. eg if you think Donena is scum, you must also logically extend your list of suspects to include Roweena and Professor Flutwuck. I would guess that if she were scum, she might not present the true clue, and the list of suspects is wider. That is why I pushed for the town to check the evidence again, but I think it's too late in the day now.
  3. It seems to me this investigation puts more pressure on Professor Flutwuck, rather than relieve my mind of the frankly strange record of Mistress Kupp. I can only hope there is a furtehr investiaation, owned by the town. I still think we need more witness interviews to confirm what we have learned, given that 2 of our witnesses are suspects, Donena (clue - no wedding ring, eliminates Womanikin and Mrs Le Go Ninja) and Bananakin (clue - hair - eliminates Roweena and Professor Flutwuck). Mugg Kupp and ScottyPie both received the clue that it was a woman.
  4. I have no real reason to suspect Bananakin or Donena, while I think Mistress Kupp is more likely to be scum than confused. Her warning to me about using witness cards yesterday was, I think, a further scum tell. Given that 2 of the suspects are witnesses to this crime, I think it would be sensible to see another witness statement - we have only obtained 10 of the 30 or so available to us. If we get a scum convicted, we can save lives, good people. I have to go on my night rounds, until then and purely to avoid a penalty (I would prefer to see more evidence) VOTE Mistress Kup
  5. This is an outrage! An offence against the guards! There`s more than one killer here! I am tempted to lock you all up, for your own safety. ScottyPie, I am suspicious of your chameleon cloak, but I am tending to the view it was a red herring. I trust you will share your clue with the town as soon as you get it.

    I'm New

Hey ArzLan, welcome! It is great to see you on Eurobricks. I hope we can see some more of your amazing MOCs here! Rob
  7. DLuders, I usually bow to you in all matters. In this one, I would suggest this is the first generation version of Sideswipe, which is based on a Countach, rather tahn the movie version. car robot The car mode is just fantastic, what a great model. Love the front, the back, the doors
  8. If we have all the clues we are going to have, it seems possible but unlikely that both Camanakin and Carly are telling the truth. It is possible and a bit more likely that they are both lying. ScottyPie's cloak change is definitely very suspicious. It seems to be a clue, but what does it mean? Carly's clue - the killer was smiling, that I am sure of Camanakin's clue - You could have sworn the killer was smiling. Interesting that these are different whereas Donena's clue - Without a doubt, the killer was dressed mostly in black. Eskipo's - Without a doubt, the killer was dressed mostly in black. Hard to tell if this is meaningful or not, hard to tell who's lying, but the odds are that at least one person is. If Carly turns out to be Town, Eskipo's clue will look suspicious. On the basis of the slim evidence we have, and with reluctance, VOTE Carly Vikera
  9. I now find ScottyPie even more suspicious than ever, showing up only once and then to jump on a bandwagon, without answering the question I have posed politely twice - ScottyPie, why did you change your cloak from brown to black? Please show us your full picture, Sir. I also think Mistress Krupp has been very suspicious. I think it likely she is flooding us with nonsense to give us the impression she is confused. As for the Carly/Camanikin/Bananakin question, both Carly and Camanakin have been behaving a bit oddly through the game. It is possible they are all scum and lying, but I think we have to say the most likely outcome is that Carly is scum. As for my clue, Donata, any grammatical mistakes are mine, though I thought I was told that for indirect quotations it was not required. As for the inconsistency, well, I can only report what I know, which was about "they" rather than "the killer". I agree it was a bit odd, which I mentioned at the time I reported it. Hope that clears your mind.
  10. I am off to patrol the town, I will be back to vote in around 8 hours. Stay safe, good people.
  11. That`s why I guessed about 30, rather than 38. The value of those witness statements is higher, the sooner we get them. If you get killed you can`t get a clue.
  12. Town Elder, could you please remind us what the town guard saw when we investigated the murder scene? Any signs of violence? Any footprints? Anything out of place or missing?
  13. Well, what we found out was this: they weren’t wearing a wedding ring, and there was definitely no mark from one. I presume this refers to the killer. With modern relationships being what they are, it doesn`t help us much. If my guess on numbers is anywhere near ballpark, we have something around 30 witness interviews to make in the 4 days I think it will take to solve this, and around 1/4 to 1/3 of the answers might not be true. So far we have 3 witness clues. I think we will have to step it up a bit, townspeople.
  14. It looks to me like this is the work of a gang of dark ones. I guess at least 5 or 6 of them, so I`m hoping that at least 12 of you people whom I have known all my life, grown up with, work with, or I am related to, are good. Over the next few days, we should all be looking for witnesses for this terrible crime, Some things here don`t fit in. I am suspicious about accountants who hammer their pussies. I want to hear from ScottyPie about his mysterious cloak change from brown to black. I don`t really understand why my highly trained and professional boss doesn`t remember anything about the scene of crime, though of course it is a terrible shock. There appear to be a few people throwing out false leads, or maybe I`m imagining it? Eskipo, you and me are going with the General back to the scene of the crime to find out more
  15. Well, please do expose yourself, miss. You did seem to sit on your clue for a long time, which might look odd to some. We are the Town Guard, we have failed to guard Mr Leigh, and that makes me mad. I fully agree to look for more clues. Let`s go to the scene of the crime and see if we can identify any more clues.
  16. Should we go back to look at the body to see if there are any clues there? We will have to arrange his funeral anyway, poor fellow.
  17. oops, sorry! My first post too!
  18. General Karnata, can you tell us any more about the scene of the crime? Were you able to work out the cause of death or time of death? Was there any sign of injury on the body? How hot is it now? I guess the flies buzzing round the corpse indicate that Leigh has been dead for some time. I seem to recall that ScottyPie was wearing his brown cloak yesterday in the meeting, and today he is wearing a black one. ScottyPie, can you please show us what colour is your cloak?

    MOC - Shaolin Monastery

I was lucky enough to see this at Taikoo (Thanks Andy, William and Wilfred!). It was amazing, and I am even more impressed now that I understand how accurate it is. Great build
  22. Another great review WhiteFang! I have been looking forward to this series since the first previews, and now I am even more excited. By my count, this series has the highest hit/miss ratio. I wish the zookeeper/gladiator ratio was the other way around. The gladiator and dark dwarf are going to be really popular, and in this series everything will be easy to identify by touch, so they will vanish from stores with elven speed.

    Lego: Space - The Comic

Awesome. I suppose it`s deliberate that Priscilla gets the "male " half in frame 1. One of the best yet
  24. Thanks for a great contest! I will be reunited with my bricks on the 19th, so some furious building will happen then!
