This is amazing. The mad-eyed chap is enough to convert me to Steampunk alone. As with all your creations I love the detail and design decisions you make. Jasbrick

Post Apoc Faction - Brikviets
Jasbrick replied to Jasbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thank you Asuka, for your comments and your advice. I have deeplinked the first image, however I have no idea how to move the post to the other subforum and I imagine double posting is frowned upon. If a MOD can do the switch I would be happy with that. Thanks again. Jasbrick -
Hi, Here are some of the latest figs that I have been creating: Brikviet Gunship Door Gunner: Brikviet Elite Guard: Brikviet Kommandant Brikhov: And an enemy of Brikvia, the Blockonese Cyber Samurai: More images are on Flickr. I hope you enjoy. Jasbrick
-
Thanks guys, you are both correct. I am not as happy with the Samurai as I thought I would be... I think I need to go more high tech. Anyway thanks for your comments. Jasbrick

The following are two of the most experienced pilots in the Brikviet Air Forces. They pilot the HellBat stealth fighter-bomber. Call signs "Maverbrick" and "Duck": Close-up of Maverbrick showing the distinctive respirator design on vest: Jasbrick

The following is a method that I use for obtaining a flash movie from a site and saving it locally: Clear your cache of temporary internet files and then open the site in a new web browser window... then after check your Temp internet files... It should now contain the Flash movie you looked at which can be saved to a location of your choice. Jasbrick

The following is a Gunship Pilot from the 23rd Brikviet Air Cavalry Division: Alternative view showing HUD and Optic array: At some point I hope to show you his vehicle... however it may be a while! Jasbrick
-
Thanks... this is fine, the proximity to the head increases the stability of the HUD, and I specifically cut a piece from the edge of the windscreen that has a lip that increases the contact area for glue and allows the HUD to be thin. The optic bracket is stuck on very tight and this is from experience with creating similar US special forces troops with this modification. All in all it is sturdy enough for light play.

The following is a Tank Commander in the 1st Brikviet Armoured Division: Jasbrick

Hi LegoKing, no the armour is made from customised lego parts that I cut and assemble myself.

For those of you that have seen Ivan my first concept Shocktrooper I have now added a few reinforcements: Close up of Vladimir the Heavy Weapons Specialist armed with Plasma Gat-Cannon and trusty combat blade: Alternative view: Credit for the hair should go to Hazel as it was his Gears of War figs that gave me the idea. Close up of Anti-personnel Specialist Olga armed with Plasma Carbine and Shock Hammer: Alternative view: The rest of the team are currently in development and I will also be posting pictures of other branches of the Brikviet forces very soon. Thanks Saint... rather than flooding this forum I have uploaded a load of other images to my Flickr photostream. Or alternatively you can see them in the Brickarms minifig forum area. My reticence in putting them all up is due to the fact that I know a lot of people do not like lego being modded (definitely not painted) so I am treading carefully. However saying that I am glad that you are inspired to do some yourself... just keep in the back of your head a ratio of TLC parts to non-TLC parts that you are comfortable with and just enjoy.

This guy is one of a new faction that I am developing. This is a sci-fi / super modern concept. I present Ivan the Brikviet Shocktrooper: And from another angle: I hope you like him. Jasbrick
-
The intention was to make a futuristic Communist style theme... I am heavily inspired by Japanese imagery, however in this case I was going for a sci-fi version of Soviet forces.

Hi, This guy is one of a group of special forces soldiers that I have been putting together for a project. Here he is: My Flickr photostream includes scenes of him with his team, however this was just to display them and the use of Brickarms weapons, and not the end project that I had in mind. Please consider a work in progress: Rangers Flickrset Jasbrick

Special Forces Soldier with Optics
Jasbrick replied to Jasbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
In the UK Oxford is not allowed to import... hence Sluban. I am not sure if this is a clone of Oxford or a rebrand, but believe me that is what it says on the box. Man, I admire your dedication to Lego if you are prepared to go all the way to S Korea for these parts! -
Hi, this my first post to the Eurobricks forums but I wanted to start with a recent minifig that I have put together with some very basic modification. Here he is the Predator: Also from a slightly different angle: After a successful hunt: And sizing up his next target: I hope that you like this version. Jasbrick
-
Thanks, the claws are Megabloks (TMNT Shredder) and the torso is a reversed Indi Soldier.

Click-it parts??? mmm... had not thought about butchering those. The star comes from the end of a normal minifig wand. You may just have given me an idea for a whole new set of parts to play with... Thanks! OK... Parts connected by using pins and glue. Dark green is from painting the parts... by hand using several thin layers of GW paint. Selling it.....mmm.... not really geared up for that and if I part with him I may feel lonely.... I think maybe in the future when I have an army of the little suckers! I hope to post more pics of him and his comrades when I get a chance. Jasbrick
-
Thanks everyone for the comments on this... I really like the way he has turned out, so much so I am currently building a squad of these guys and some other variants from the Brikvian Armed Forces. As soon as these are ready I will post them. Jasbrick
-
Hi... I made it using all sorts of lego parts.
-
It was definitely dream first then build it myself... all made from pretty standard parts just butchered about a bit. I am going to be creating a few more with some variations along the same theme.

Particularly for those amongst you old enough to remember the storming of theIranian Embassy in 1980 and the Libyan Embassy Siege in 1984 here is my version of an SAS breaching specialist: Alternative view 1: Alternative view 2: This is dedicated to Policewoman Yvonne Fletcher who was fatally shot at the beginning of the Libyan Embassy siege. I hope you like the fig, the customisation is mainly achieved through the use of non-standard parts... which I hope is allowed. Jasbrick

Thanks for thumbs up. The gas mask is something of an enigma, I am not sure where it come from only that it was found in a load of lego that I found at a boot sale. I am not even sure if it is construction toy related. But it works.

I will try to get a photo up in the next few days.
