  1. Here is my version of a British Para during the Arnhem Operation in 1944: Jasbrick
  2. To accompany my recent Luftwaffe Officer I decided to create a more standard pilot. He is armed with a Brickarms Luger prototype supplied by (Will Chapman) which looks great. Jasbrick
  3. Hi, I got bored so here is my version of a young but experienced Luftwaffe Officer: Jasbrick
  4. Hi, I was considering a break from customising for a while to focus on MOC's however this break has had to be indefinitely postponed due to the arrival of some prototypes from Will Chapman at Brickarms. Within 30 minutes of receiving the prototypes I had decided on my favourites and put this guy together to show off the Flame Gun, which as a big Logans Run fan I adore. So I give you my Mandalorian Warrior: I hope you like. Jasbrick

    Star Wars - Mandalorian Warrior

Thanks... but I am afraid it is all painted... I have not quite worked out decals yet. Jasbrick

    Luftwaffe Officer

Thanks All... the torso is painted by hand as is the Cap (and Yes I do have GW experience [around 26 years of it ]). I don't use decals at the moment. The trench coat is cut from a piece of thin leather-like material (I actually skinned a presentation folder). I very much like LuxorV's idea of Indy type dios.... it just may happen. Jasbrick
  7. As these are my final custom figs, I thought I would give them some special accessories. Therefore here is Captain Pugwash armed with a phasersabre and flying on his trusty Hoverboard: Also he is followed by his Space Wolf mercenary pal: More detailed pictures of the boards can be found on my Flickr Stream. Goodbye all. Jasbrick
  8. I went into a toy store with my sons yesterday and he went mental over a new action figure of Plo-Koon with his lightsabre guantlet.... which got me thinking. I put the following together for his Birthday using a Brickarms U-clip clipped to Plo-koons arm and to a pair of binoculars. I think it works quite well and is the closest thing I get to 'purist': To counteract this uncharacteristic puritanical behaviour I decided to create an Assassin Clone!: Another view: The vibro blade on his left arm is attached using the same technique and is actually a Brickarms bayonet (which I love). The pistol is TLC and the carbine is Little Armory (modified with flash suppressor). I hope you like.... I am sure my son will. Jasbrick

    Plo-Koon and Clone Assassin

Thanks... The clone assassin is just a combination of pieces with the exception of the helmet which I painted the image on. Plo-Koon's concept sketches included this guantlet, and it seems that Hasbro or whoever does the action figures these days have also produced this. Jasbrick
  10. Thanks... If it is wrong... then the reference picture of the real soldier I copied it from was wrong ;-) Jasbrick
  11. Thanks... the hair is a normal lego hairpiece that I trimmed down and painted. It can come off if I want to replace with a helmet. Jasbrick
  12. Thanks... the bag is a piece from an Action figure that I spotted in a discount store. It was way too big so I had to cut it right down and rebuild it with Greenstuff, then repaint it. Jasbrick
  13. He, He... I am glad you take my work so seriously.... however he is not actually wearing the hat, in fact this hat belongs to his mate who has just gone for a pee before they all ship out ;-) The hat was done separately and in the absence of a more appropriate item I just stuck it in. Jasbrick
  14. Hi, This just goes to show that even Space Pirates like Sports! Here is my Spaceball player: I don't want to be the one to tell him that cybernetic targeting systems are cheating! :-P Jasbrick
  15. Hi, Aaron Dayman has been producing some great Space Pirate stuff in the Space Pirates Flickr group and asked that I try a few customs for him that use the Space Pirate iconography. So I present Space Pirate Baron Dayman and his disreputable Space Wolf mercenary: Close up of Baron Dayman: Close up of the Space Wolf Mercenary: They are still a little rough but the Baron is much better than my first attempt. Also I have just added another.... A Space Troll: Jasbrick

    Space Pirates

Thanks Exxtrooper... however I am not 'Anti-Decal' just not any good at doing them (well I have not tried yet... but I expect to be bad at it). I leave that to people like yourself who have a flair for it. Anyway thanks for the comments all. Jasbrick

    Space Pirates

Thanks... just so you know these are painted on by hand. Jasbrick
  18. To add some more specialist troops to my new Krieg faction I decided to start with a few parachute troopers... here is one of them armed with a drum fed SMG with laser sight: Alternative view: Jasbrick
  19. The following is the Kommander of my new Krieg Faction who is wearing Death Angel Heavy Armour: He is currently only armed with his trusty Brickarms Mauser as I am still working on his primary weapon system. Jasbrick
  20. Are you referring to the gas-mask? Jasbrick
  21. Strange is fine by me... my WWII / Steampunk fusion figs are meant to be weird. Jasbrick
  22. Hi, Previously my main focus has been on creating a consistent Post-Apoc themed group of customs, as a bit of a break from that I have been playing around with WWII. Here is the result: WWII Japanese Pilot: WWII German Major: WWII British Tank Regiment: Jasbrick
  23. The following is an experiment in creating a futuristic gas mask and also creating a GunSaber using a Brickarms revolver. Here is the result: And an alternative view: Jasbrick

    Krieg Kapitan

Hundreds! My display cabinet is bulging at the moment. I think I am going to have to buy a new one. Asuka "A very cool work. The eyes look creepingly brilliant... I hope they´ll not hunt me in my dreams... " These eyes are my favourite piece at the moment, they positively glow with even a tiny amount of light and are the first thing I see when looking at my Fig cabinet. Darth Legolas... cutting carefully with heavy duty modelling blade and a modelling bone saw. I also use a cutting mat that helps to secure the piece and improve cutting. Thanks for all the comments. WWII Custom Figs

Thanks... the beret is from Sluban, which I have subsequently painted a different colour and logo. I am not quite sure what Exxtrooper means... maybe his real meaning was lost in translation. Jasbrick
