Here is somthing crazy, my local TRU got in two cases. Now out of me and a friend we pretty much bought them out (limit of 10 at a time and we went there a few times). So out of 70 minifigs between us we only got a single Vampire. Now on my last journey over there today for my final 10 (that darn mime kept getting away from me) I looked at the bar codes and there was not a single Vampire in the 30 or so packs left. Either these two cases were diferent or we just had bad luck and someone got every Vamp. I wonder if Lego is packing the cases diferently, or is everyone finding case pack outs like those listed in the original post. I find it strange that only the vampire and weightlifter (for some reason he seemed shortpacked as well) were the rare figures in these two packs, yet they didnt grab the spartans or mexicans. Has anyone else noticed anything odd in their pack outs?

Add me to the list. You would think that after last year they might throw us a bone with this, even make it a legoshop exclusive. We can only hope this petition will maybe change their minds (or at least accidently ship some over so we can buy them again).

Thanks for the warm welcome, nice to see a friendly community. To answer a question above, no there were no signs or spaces for the Fort, Boat or Impulse sets. And I agree with ZCerberus, TRU does seem to raise its prices after an initial release. Maybe these are a promotion, sort of like the Target "exclusives" that go mass retail after the holidays. I could definatly see shipwreck island being that, as it does say limited edition on the box like the Dwarves mine did last year.

New member, long time lurker. Just thought I would log in and mention that I found the new sets at Toys"r"us today, didnt see a post for this yet. I figured that since this site has helped me out in finding items(Castle advent, collector book, etc etc) I would share the love. I live in Denver CO, USA so im not sure about other areas. I have to say I was suprised they came out so soon, I thought these were scheduled for next year.
