That's sick! I see you forgot to show the redcoat throwing the turny thing into the back of the bluecoats head. If there are two redcoats kill both of them because if you don't the survivor will kill you!

THE BEST SENTENCE EVER! I really like the moc. The dock and the beach is really cool. You definately need some pictures of the interior. Here is how I take pictures. I usually take the pictures on a card table in my room. I put a poster board under the moc and a science fair board (trifold thing) behind it. I take the pictures during the day so that natural light is streaming onto my moc. I also have the only light in my room on. Then I just take the pictures with the flash on. Make sure that whatever you use as the back ground, in my case the trifold board is facing toward the natural light . I think the main key is natural sun light. I find that using a bright lamp right against the moc causes huge shadows. I think that is the problem with your pics. I can post pics of my set up if you want to see exactly what I mean.

It's okay. I just had to hurry and get rid of mine before anyone else noticed.

Nice entry. I thought you were still out of town and just posted mine. I edited it so now it's gone. I'll just have to wait and post it on thursday.

Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
Paul cantu replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
I think this is a good idea but i thought of another way it could be handy. If say the hulls were able to be connected sideways by those technic pieces then you could add bricks between the two haves of the hull and make the hulls as wide as you want. If you could do that then it would be much easier to build huge ships. I think that is the really great potential of this idea. -
The Lion of Luebeck (sistership of the Adler)

This is a wonderful ship. I love the height of the cabin and all the windows. The overall shape of the ship is very realistic. The technique used on the sides and front of the ship are unique. -
This is nice. I like the way you built the wave. The minifig in the bucket is great. I sure hope he doesn't hit his head on that rock.

This is cool. I like the HUGE docks. The guy painting over the stones is great. I think the fort should be bigger though, so it can blast more attacking ships out of the water. I also think that you should buy more gray slopes because the dark gray and light gray pattern looks a bit cartoonish. I think all light grey would look better. Are you going to add more to the port?

Funny! I love the sniper rifle.

Wow I really like the way you built the cabin. it is completely unique and i love it. All the brown looks really great. -
I don't think they missed their turn. It still is the bluecoats turn today yesterday was the redcoats turn but Talon Karrde submitted his entry on the same day as the bluecoats.

I love this one. His facial expression is awesome and the hook looks deadly. I really like the highlights on his face as well. Apache I also love your work. The water with the different colors and bubbliness is spectacular.

Definately more ships. One ship that is aimed at the older lego audience and a smaller ship for all ages (at least one of the ships has to be for the imperials). A harbor set like the Medieval Market Village with merchants, smugglers, and wenches. I strongly agree with Hornbricker lego should introduce large new ship hulls or at least some basic ship building packs with masts, hulls, sails, and riging. Blue baseplates would also be great. A new faction such as bluecoats or islanders. -
Take this you stankin bluecoats! A Redcoat officer arrives in a small port bringing important news to the local population. Ladies and gentlemen, gather round! As part of the governor's new Make Useless Captured Blucoats Useful Act, or as you probably know it the UCBUA, the Redcoat army has discovered a new technology using captured bluecoats. The new technology is quite simple to use. First harness a captured bluecoat to your carriage or wagon. Next simply hold a Redcoat flag or any other Redcoat paraphernalia. As you know the bluecoats are so scared of any Redcoat item they run the opposite direction. By using the bluecoats naturally born with retreating ability, your wagons get pulled every time. Oh, I think I forgot to mention the reverse feature. If you put the flag on a pole and extend it over the bluecoats then they pull the wagon backwards. And if you want to park the wagon or stop it, then hold a flag in front of them and another flag behind them. As an extra precaution be sure to keep a whip handy in case the bluecoats start to stray off the road. Watch as I demonstrate. Would a volunteer like to try the new technology? You in the green hat why don't you give it a try? It seems like the local population is enjoying the new technology. More pics: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=395252

This is one of the best so far. I love the use of that huge shark. It's about time we put those useless bluecoat prisoners to work.

This is another great looking port. I really like how the sand is sloped instead of just flat. Are your other ports still together or do you take them apart to build the new ones?
-
Wow this looks great. The techniques you are using are completely unique and look great. I really like the interior so far. The only thing that looks out of place is the lion head at the front of the ship.
-
This ship doesn't even need cannons. It can just ram right through all the bluecoat ships.
-
Funny! I can't wait to see your entry tommorow.

Those are really good. I like Broadside he looks comical but also serious at the same time. I am working on a drawing right now that I might post.

The best lego film I've ever seen. I loved the robots playing travel scrabble. The strory line and voices are also really amazing. Great work to all of the people who worked on the film.

This already looks cool. I also used empress on one of my ships it really is a great ship name.
-
no on your ship some spikes remained after the battle.
-
I really like the sea wall sections. The stones and arches look great together. The new top is also really cool.
