Wow, that's a church and a half! Great technique for the walls, very authentic looking! As far as events go in England, the biggest one is at the STEAM museum on the 3rd and 4th of October, so if you were gonna display it the best place would be there probably.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm gonna change the soldier to a normal redcoat or something when I build next and make the path slightly wider in places, and get rid of some of those silly flowers. I was trying to create the atmosphere of an actual kind of "paradise" as it were with all the bright colors but you're the people who are voting for it so it looks like they're going :p Thanks and whatnot, it's appreciated!

My PTV II small entry. Lets face it-when you're fighting all day long for years in end you usually don't get a chance to find nor use those services all men need. So when the war finally ended, Private Donnel intended to blow all his loot wisely... Overall: Lower random angle shot: I am aware of the "no computer entry" rule thing, but I did not want to perhaps ruin a perfectly good tile so I wrote on the word in photoshop. That's okay I hope? Enjoy and as always I am wanting of criticism and whatnot.

Homework done and the new entry has been posted! Please see my original post for the new pictures. Also, could a mod or admin please change the title to "Cruelty from Beneath?" Thanks!

Yes, the image was deleted from my photostream as I have rebuilt the creation taking into account all of your criticism. Same concept but different setting to make it a more feasible idea... I will upload later when I've got through all my homework :-/

99c Hi everyone, this is my entry into the PTV competition, for the medium division. I only have a couple picture and I feel it only needs one, so the 6 picture rule, does it still need adhering to? MEDIUM DIVISION Description: Even when at peace pirates still want to get their own back on each other! When the retired Captain Morris finally completed his massive, incredibly delicate matchstick pyramid, one of his ex-comrades was quick to try and get rid of his rival's success. He tunneled under the captain's house, and then, with a sturdy stick began banging on the captain's house's floorboards. "Is that an earthquake?!" the captain exclaimed. "That's the last thing I need, especially with this incredibly delicate huge matchstick pyramid at stake! It took me a whole month to make!" I think we all know what will happen next... Overall: The miner himself: The poor pirate captain: Criticism welcomed and wanted, so please do comment! (This is also my first MOC posted here)

Which is mightier - Black Seas Barracuda OR Brickbeard's Bounty?
Fredster wozere replied to Captain Zuloo's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well, I don't own either but I voted BSB. Simply because of it's "classic-ness". Whilst BB has those lovely new figs, I'm not buying the sails with the skulls. Also, the aesthetics of BSB are better than that of BB in my opinion, simply because of the colour and build. Just my opinion though. -
You can count me in!

Hi, I use Google Chrome Beta. I have Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 (non beta!) so I'll probably use Firefox, but I daresay when it becomes a more popular and well known server you may want to make a tutorial for Chrome and Explorer 8. Regards, ~Fredster~Wozere~ -
Two imperial guards, both LEGO
Fredster wozere replied to General Armendariz's topic in LEGO Pirates
hehe. I only have one imperial guard, and he has gold buttons. I'm waiting for a few more to arrive from Bricklink, so I'll check if any of those have black buttons... Do any of the official set pictures feature guards with black buttons? Not sure if that's relevant, but maybe... ~Fredster~wozere~ -
Which company makes better pirate-themed sets?
Fredster wozere replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm agreeing with the Brickster; I have a ton of Bionicle and no way to use it. Anyway, I voted 4+, for the same reasons already stated by others. The megablocks sets have so many large pieces that they don't improve your building skill and you can't use them in a Lego MOC; never heard of the others, apart from playmobil which I like as a kid but just don't digg now. ~Fredster~wozere~ -
Very good MOC! I'll just pick a few of the brilliant features in this entry... 1) The cliff face; very good SNOTage here, really creating the feeling of a treacherous landscape. Also, things like the bats sleeping are nice features. 2)The humour; the idea of getting revenge on cannibals by eating them themselves is simply brilliant 3)The bridge; I love it! And by describing it you really make me feel sorry for everyone who has to cross it...although you say old vines, but I can't see any anywhere. How about changing that bit to rope? Another teeny nitpick I have is the posing of the past explorer; his hands is sort of raised, and all his clothing is intact; wouldn't is have been torn off by the time his body had decayed? 10/10!

*Finished* - The Pillaging of Neptune's Noggin Lagoon
Fredster wozere replied to SirNadroj's topic in Pirate MOCs
Really good so far! I too am wondering where the stone face will fit in...and another town section? By my standards what you've got there is more than enough! The ship's looking great; seeing as it's finished, any chance of a few more pics of just that? Keep it up; can't wait to see the finished result! -
Hehe...my first post! A very good entry; in response to what someone else said, I actually think it's a good choice of torso for the governor. And you've also conveyed the feeling of cruelty in a different way, which makes this MOC very unique to other entries which feature blood and gore. I will echo what others have said about the desk and floor colour choice, and that they blend into each other, so if you're lacking in other coloured tiles, then a dying guard would add to it. 5/5! Very good entry!
