  2. The 2014 fundraiser is almost over, and prices on all items are at their lowest. Check out the store today! In addition, you are invited to join the Creations for Charity 2014 24-hour live stream hosted by Joshua Hanlon and Matthew Kay from Beyond the Brick. From 5pm EST 11/28 through 5pm 11/29, tune in for a full day fun and building with Lego fans from the online community on Google Hangout. The link will be posted on the day of the stream. We will be raising money together for this year’s Creations for Charity through a pledge system. For each hour spent on the stream, anyone can pledge to donate a certain amount to the fundraiser. The LEGO Group has pledged to donate a Lego set for every man-hour on air! Learn more about the stream on creationsforcharity.org
  3. The 2014 fundraiser is almost over, but we need your help to buy the creations. It would mean much to those who spent time making a custom item that they hope will sell. Prices have been lowered drastically. Please take a look at our store.

Thanks everyone, we appreciate the comments. The display will be exhibited next at Brickworld Chicago in 2015.

    MOC: Aurora

My portion has been sitting in my room for over 2 years, but actual building time would probably be weeks to months.

Hello Eurobricks, I'm proud to share my latest collaboration with Tyler (Legohaulic). This is a 7’x7′ display of a floating world shattered into fragments, whose citizens are now rebuilding their lost home. You can see more detail shots on Tyler‘s and my Flickr photostream. -Nannan

New modular building? 10224 Town Hall

I wonder what the price tag on this will be.
  10. Hellow Eurobricks, The third annual Creations for Charity fundraiser has just begun. This is an opportunity for builders to donate custom Lego creations and raise money to buy Lego for underprivileged children during the holidays. In addition, it's a chance for buyers to own an original Lego creation. MOC donations are currently being accepted until November 15, and the store will open from October 15 to November 30. You can visit Creation for Charity's new website for details and other exciting changes this year. Once again, I look forward to the generosity and enthusiasm of the Lego community to share our hobby with many children this holiday season. Here’s a look at last year’s results and the amount of Lego that was donated. -Nannan

    Oasis

Here's a video of the water mechanism for all interested in knowing :)

    Mirage

Thanks for the comments, Mirage was inspired by the concept of a sky garden. It was molded around the modular platform design that eventually gave way to everything you see in the photo.

    Mirage

Here’s the latest collab between Tyler and me called Mirage, I know we just posted Oasis here recently, but don’t be fooled into thinking we built a new diorama in just two weeks. Mirage was built over the course of 6 months. It’s inspired by the concept of a sanctuary in the sky built without baseplates. Thus, the form of this diorama is the main highlight. High in the sky, the guardians of the seven virtues watch over and protect the world below from falling into a sinful abyss. Flickr MOCpages Teasers

    Oasis

Thanks for the comments everyone, a lot of people asked about the water effect, so I'll update this thread with a video in the coming two weeks. And for those who asked for more collaborations, Tyler and I have another one coming next week for Brick Fiesta, so stay tuned! -Nannan

    Oasis

Long after the humans have abandoned their planet and consumed its resources, the thinking machines once made by Man resurrect a new paradise from the sands of the wasteland. Video Flickr MOCpages Oasis is the second collaborative diorama by Tyler Clites and Nannan Zhang. It was built from April to June 2011 and contains approximately 25,000 pieces over an area of 5 ft by 7 ft. The creation was inspired by the idea of a spinning wheel towering above a pool of moving water. Enjoy!
