[MOC] My very first in Modular Buildings 16 X 32

Nicely done! Having just completed the Fire Brigade myself I recognize the car grills as architectural pieces. I like the re purposing of them very much

This build is amazing! Fantastic job. Do you plan out builds before or just go for it?

    [MOC] Modular Lego Un-Haunted House

Very nice! I like the larger width of this modular. So many modulars feel so tight inside and this seems like there would be lots of room for interior detailing. Please update with more pics.

    MOC Modular villas with garden

Nicely done! I was just considering picking up a haunted house to make a MOC as well. The details and garden you have there far exceed what I could do though. Great job.

    Hello from Columbus, OH USA

Amazing! Thank you for the tip. I had been going through bricklink looking at used sets also. Looks like there are some really good deals on ebay for the sets with no minifigs.

I guess my current predicament is that there are not specific bricks I am looking for as I do not currently have much of a collection as a base. Only two Friends sets that were purchased for my daughter and I to build together. I think I will need to keep an eye out for sales on Amazon and at other retail outlets until garage sale season. Once I build a collection base I will be able to say I need x number of a certain piece for the design I want to make.

    Hello from Columbus, OH USA

Hi there Eurobricks Community. I have just recently got back into Lego after about 20 years. It happened because of my daughter who really liked the Friends series. While looking at the sets online I ran across some amazing MOCs and wanted to try my hand. I am most interested in Star Wars (have been a fan of the books and movies all my life) and city/town themes. We only have a couple sets so far, but I am itching to get rolling. What is the best way to build up enough bricks for larger MOCs? Sets seem the obvious route, but seem prohibitive as the pieces are more purpose selected for the set. I have also heard warnings of buying bulk lots from E-Bay as users have warned that they are often picked over by collectors first. I plan on hitting garage sales once warmer weather comes and have poked around a few second hand stores, but have not found much. Any tips would be very much appreciated.
