SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 2

I agree. It almost seems as if you're posting to appear helpful and analytic but not actually being so. Based on previous games, I'd hazard a guess that someone submitted a "joke" action to give me a pineapple.

Thanks Both builds I posted today are actually from last November - long since disassembled, but I found the photos in some of my files on my laptop

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 2

As Alyssa has said, there doesn't always have to be a third party. Take The Second Crash Mafia for instance - there was no third party in that game although it said it in the rules and JJP hinted at it. There's always more than one scum. Usually there'd be three or four in a game this size - three if there's a SK and four if there isn't. I don't want this to turn into a pedantic argument about how many scum there are, but equally you shouldn't underestimate scum numbers. Since you've never played before, I'll give you some advice: while scum can be "caught" due to behaviour (ie. defending a teammate / not voting for them etc.), a SK has no teammates and therefore cannot be "caught" the same way. Scumtells exist; SK tells do not. Therefore if there is a SK, we'll only be able to work out who it is through process of elimination once a few more people have died (or due to PR results).

Maybe I was rather too hasty when making that first post, point taken

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 2

No, what I'm saying is that the doctor should just generally get in contact with their protectee at some point soon, so that they can start talking, and maybe claim at some later point in the game. Was it you who gave me the pineapple?

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 2

Yeah, that was me I'd say quite a few more than 3 suspected him - only 3 voted for him in the end. Plus he was a newer player - I can't see why the scum would have seen him as a threat.

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 2

I think you're misinterpreting what I said. I suggested that the doctor should get in contact with the person they protected, not necessarily claim to them yet. And why would the scum kill Kinjobby? Surely a far better plan would have been to kill someone who wasn't suspected and then push Kinjobby's lynch today? That's partially my fault, I'm afraid I switched votes to Kinjobby late in the day, not seeing that we didn't have much time left. When I logged in again the day had ended. Had I kept my vote on Steven, he'd have been lynched. There were also seven others who didn't vote for Schram, some of whom were online at the end of the day and could have hammered him...

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 2

A very interesting choice of kill. I'm going to speculate that the scum were blocked/target protected and the vig killed Kinjobby - it doesn't make sense for the scum to night-kill someone who was widely suspected and would have been a prime lynch candidate for today.... To echo Cecilia's comment, if you're a doctor, I'd suggest you get in contact with the person you protected last night, as chances are, you saved them from a kill. If you're a blocker, then it's a bit trickier, but whatever you do, don't come out in-thread and claim. This goes for all power roles.

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1

No, you're really not. Do you suspect me or not? Thanks sooo much for that, you've just increased your scumminess hugely and warranted my vote. Unvote: Steven Schram (Khscarymovie4) Vote: Kinjobby O'Laughlin (Junior Shark) Agreed, it does. Whether it is or not is all WIFOM, mate (although you can take my word for it that it's not, whatever that counts for!) Way to bandwagon. That's how you got by last game too, quietly bandwagoning. Care to offer anything more substantial to the discussion?

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1

Revenge voting, now are we? I'm really not sure what to feel about Mr. Schram. He's the scummiest out of everyone, which is why I'm keeping my vote on him, but newbies often are scummy and I'm worried it might be simply down to him being inexperienced and not necessarily him being HYDRA. However, I've written off newbies as "newbies" before in the past and it's come back to bite me; newbie scum can essentially fly under the radar by playing the n00b card. Essentially, Mr. Schram is going to be very hard to read if this behaviour continues later into the game, and at some point we're going to have to stop making allowances for newbie behaviour. Which is why I think we may as well lynch him today so as not to have to worry about him later on in the game... How about the votes on Jasper? Arguably more suspicious, since Jasper made a mistake, unlike Steven who is legitimately acting scummy. And you haven't mentioned Steven's own vote on Eugene, which is even worse. I also find this worrying. You spend the whole post suspecting Steven, but you don't vote for him, mentioning the bandwagon as your reason. This almost seems as if someone behind the scenes has told you that you should make a post suspecting Steven so that you can use that as a reason for voting him later in the day, and with the added bonus of you not being seen as a bandwagoner. I've done this in the past as scum, and I can see it here. Why the unvote? You've never said any reasons for thinking Jasper is town.... this really looks like a "springboard" post for a later vote on Steven.

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1

My quietness is due to timezone issues. On weekdays, I'm only able to post every 24 hours, and usually all my posts amalgamate into one large post. I'll be more active at the weekends Steven, your unvote has made me doubly suspicious of you...
  19. Avalanche begins to nod, "Good idea. Let's start training now. Afterwards, why don't you take half the able-bodied villagers and start work on the barricades, while Traci and Jackson begin training the others on the ships."

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1

I see this as quite scummy, although you haven't been here for long. You're not only jumping on the bandwagon of a person with four votes already, but you're saying he's scum because he edited his post  Scum aren't suicidal. And you're also basing your suspicion off his character flavour, which is obviously not alignment indicative. Vote: Steven Schram (Khscarymovie4) I almost voted for Jasper, but the bandwagon on him is worrying me due to the speed at which it has developed. In my opinion the only scummy thing Jasper has done was the original calling out of Eugene for editing his post, alerting Mr. Fury's attention to it. The subsequent vote for Eugene is too odd to be scummy - town or scum, it is most likely a mistake. Mr. Bartell and Mr. O'Laughlin, please justify your votes on Mr.Heinz.

"Kick you out" doesn't mean "lynch you". I never said I thought you were HYDRA, I just said you shouldn't be here. Do you need glasses, pizza guy?

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1

I just had a disturbing thought... if Jafar is one of the traitors, he could just poison us all and be done with it You sound oddly unsure of which side you're on. If you don't know what either us or HYDRA is, are you even meant to be here? Shouldn't we just kick you out? Way to draw attention to it... almost as if you wanted the host to notice so that he'd get penalty votes Ah, but you see, werewolves aren't necessarily members of HYDRA, are they?
