Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color
Dragonfire replied to KotZ's topic in The Heroica Archive
OOC: I'll be going away for a week starting tomorrow, with limited internet access. I'll be online from time to time, but not very often. If the battle continues, Avalanche will attack Traci from the front row until she is defeated, in which case he will attack a random enemy. If he loses half health, he will drink a potion. Chosen Minifigure can control his actions. -
Thanks I actually based my design on the speeder from the resistance battle pack - I took the set apart, found some bricks in more Kawashitan colours, and then rebuilt it my way. The large grey piece at the front, the trans-orange cylinders and the engines are the only things that still look similar IMO. And as for the robot, he'll be turning up in quite a few more builds as my characters try and figure out where he came from.

AT-ST sounds good. If it's one of the two lowest priced sets I'll be getting it for sure.

Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color
Dragonfire replied to KotZ's topic in The Heroica Archive
Avalanche allows himself a moment of satisfaction as he lands a solid hit on Traci, only to see Calamity go down. Realising he has the most Phoenix Essences of the party, he uses a Phoenix Essence on Calamity (from the back row). -
Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color
Dragonfire replied to KotZ's topic in The Heroica Archive
Avalanche feels a warm sensation slip down his throat, sending fire surging through his body and invigorating him with a newfound recklessness. Drawing Frostbite, he attacks Traci from the front row. -

Location: B08 Greater Direstan Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Misson Log: Entry 24 ~ The briefing from CEO Raven was uncharacteristically harsh. I was admonished for forsaking my duties as an explorer, informed that I had no right to go around wearing blast armour and carrying weapons, and told that the shock of my injury was exactly what I needed to get back into protocol. She then congratulated me on eliminating the mutant threat. Some people.... Anyway, I was back on Greater Direstan for the third time in less than a year, carrying out a standard recon / exploration mission on a fairly ordinary speeder. Funnily enough, I didn't really miss the adrenaline-fuelled fights and chases of the last month or two - seems Raven was right about where I truly belonged. What I did miss was the companionship of my former team - Agent Kytes, Captain Askarn, Akiko.... My previous journeys and adventures with them were probably something I'd always remember. But there was a whole new world out there, waiting to be discovered, and I was in the vanguard of it.... [Just a small build this time, not much time or space for anything larger. C&C welcome.]

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 3
Dragonfire replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Of course it's a sound approach. He didn't want to risk only telling the scum all the info he had, so he shared with many people so that if he died, whoever was town would reveal the conflicting claims etc. -

He was blocked, but I'm not sure whether it was by Todd or by a potential scum blocker. -

Just fyi, Kingdoms had a vengeful vig on the town's side too. But I've never seen a game without an investigator, so it wouldn't make sense for there not to be one. You're convincing no-one. -

I highly doubt that Daniel, if scum, would sacrifice two, possibly three scum for the price of one town PR. No investigator = extremely unlikely. I have to give you credit for putting up a defense - usually when a scum is investigated, they just give up. So nice try. Why did you send him the information if you thought he was scum? Was it because you were afraid that Jafar and Todd were scum and they would kill you, causing you to take the information to your grave? -
Agreed, he should do an AG road trip visiting all the corporations in turn

In the farthest corner of Nocturnus, in a desolate, barren clump of rocks, a wooden tower stretched just over the horizon, visible to all near and far, but seemingly impassable. Two Drow soldiers stood guard at the base of this structure - well, not exactly stood guard! They lay slumped against the rocks, bottles clutched in their hands, drunken and tired. When Berelan Gryffen, lord of the Mitgardian county of Stormhold, opened his eyes, he didn't know where he was. His last memory was of a far-away Avalonian outpost, of a fierce battle between the Drow and the local soldiers. Now he was lying on a bare, earthy floor, his clothes in tatters and chains around his hands. Weakly, he struggled into a sitting position... and then he realised he wasn't alone in the cell... A Tigris, by the looks of it - part human, part feline in appearance, with a mane of black hair and its teeth bared in a grimace. As Berelan raised his head, the creature's eyes narrowed, "So you're finally awake. Been waiting two weeks for this..." Berelan managed to gasp, "I mean you no harm..." but was met with a harsh, gravelly laugh from the Tigris, "I'm not going to hurt you, ekshalar. You'd better thank me, because I could've escaped two weeks ago, when I broke the clasp on my chains. But I couldn't leave you here- those vhhskarn would have made you suffer for my escape. Who are you, and where are you from?" Somewhat relieved but still wary, Berelan replied, "I'm from Mitgardia... my name's Berelan. You?" Without replying, the Tigris moved over to Berelan's chains and yanked them out of the wall with a contemptuously little amount of force, "Them Black Spire vhhskarn don't know what they're in for. I'll bet they've never even seen a Tigris before. Name's Tskerr, by the way. I'm with the Nocturnus Resistance. Now let's get a move on - I'm sick of this place!" Drunkenly, one of the Drow guards rose to check on the prisoners. They'd been paid a lot by a cloaked stranger calling himself Xaris to do this, and they'd spent the money on fine Nocturnian liquor. This turned out to be his undoing. As the guard stumbled along the path, he noticed a blurry, reddish-brown shape leaping from rock to rock, a length of chains swinging from its hand... Tskerr suddenly leapt at the guard, crushing him to the ground with brute strength. Berelan, emerging from behind a rock, saw the second guard draw his sword and advance on the oblivious Tigris... ...so he grabbed a conveniently nearby scorpion and threw it at the Drow! Pleased with their handiwork, the two escapees proceeded to don the guards' clothes, passing as Black Spire enforcers to all who met them. Time was of the essence - the resistance was growing and soon things would come to a brutal and bloody head.... [sorry for the lengthy story; C&C welcome!]

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 3
Dragonfire replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
How would I have been saved by a block? And no, I'm not sure whether the pineapple was a joke or a sign of me being blocked. Pineapples don't exactly scream "blocker!" to me.... You're very quick to accuse, aren't you? What do you mean, answer for it? Either you or Daniel is lying here. I see no reason for Daniel to be lying, seeing as he'd just get lynched instantly tomorrow if he was. Besides, we almost certainly have an investigator, so unless Kinjobby was the investigator and the scum somehow knew that and killed him for it (Steven claimed vanilla so it couldn't have been him), then we've had no counterclaim, so Daniel is telling the truth. You're not fooling me. -
