    Here’s what I’m thinking:

Phase 1 clone battle pack: ARF trooper, 2 clone troopers, 501st Lieutenant. Includes minifigure scale AT RT, droideka build and Red macro binoculars.

Ryloth AT TE:  Armoured Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Phase 1 commander Cody, Commander Pons, Waxer, Boil and Razer. Has a AT RT deployment play feature.

Droid Artillery: Luminara Unduli, P1 Commander Gree, Desert ARF Trooper, Updated Tactical droid and a bunch of droids.

UCS Twilight: Armoured Anakin, new seasons 1-3 Ahsoka, P1 Captain Rex, Denal, Echo, Fives and Cad Bane. (Updated Rotta the Hutt would be included.)

Yes, please keep Wishlisting in the appropriate thread.

Sith infiltrator was the only set I looked forward to the most this year not counting the Mandalorian battle pack.
The build looks horrible, the price is even worse cause we are paying $15 for the "free" anniversary figure.
No Panaka that was rumoured is criminal, only 3 figures for the only The Phantom Menace anniversary set with figures for 25 years is so outrageous.
Do not want or need Saw Guerrera, but I have to ask why are they not using the Echo (from Marvel) leg piece for him? Why are we still not using the monkey kid hilt for Maul? Why Fives wasn't in this set and Saw in the New Hope/Rogue one hallway?
No special tile or a brick showing Maul or something special from The Phantom Menace to celebrate the anniversary like Return of the jedi got last year.
25 years since the movie and we still do not have majority of the characters and the ships from the movie.
Idk how anyone can support or have excuses for this absolute thrash that's thrown to us for premium prices.

No offense, but some of these complaints are pretty unreasonable and others are misdirected.

Putting aside the fact that I have no clue where you're pulling $15 from (but seriously, what?), I think it's pretty clear the anniversary figures are not the issue. Lego could and would have sold us this set, with three figs, for $70. They've had worse prices. That doesn't make it not an issue, but the fact that they're giving us anniversary figures isn't what the issue is- it's the prices, and based on the other revealed sets with 25th figures, there's no reason to assume they're playing a significant role in price inflation. The issue isn't that Saw Guerra is adding an oddly specific and high cost to the set, it's that lego's inflated prices significantly.

The system sets don't have special anniversary bricks or tiles. This might be a reasonable complaint for the droideka or podrace diorama, but it doesn't really make sense for the infiltrator. There was no reason to expect it would have one.

I'm more with PreVisla on this one. But I'm quoting these two points of view  I as a reminder that each is entitled to his/her own opinion on a set. Agree or disagree with each other. But do it in a civil manner please.

I am surprised we have not heard about the next magazine gift yet. The issue with Chewbacca should release tomorrow or Saturday in Germany and usualy some people get it early. Hope we'll get a 5th minifig in a row! Fingers crossed

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the red clone trooper here in France. I see a bunch of them on Bricklink being sold from Germany. Has anyone seen the red clone trooper outside of there? We still have tons of Palatine magazines.

Am I the only one who sees a potential Gondor armor on the DnD CMF dragon? And maybe the same mace for Sauron?

Maybe we can have a couple of men from the Last Alliance with that armor in Barad-Dur... Fingers crossed :excited:

I'd bet money those "leaks" for the CMF are fake.

I've also noticed the injection molding problem with parts although I would argue that it's been since around 2017 was when I first noticed. Ever since I've been bringing it up and most people have dismissed it completely so I'm glad to notice that there's someone else who's been in LEGO for longer than 20 years that has confirmed I'm not off my rocker on seeing it. It's not like it's just a few parts out of each newly manufactured set either. Literally every part has marks that remind me of sprue marks from low grade model kits and it's incredibly disappointing IMO. I also have compared new parts to new old stock parts from MISB sets prior to 2010 and I've noticed that the older parts have a more satisfying connection and click than their newer made counterparts.

Yeah, once you see the bad sprue marks you can't un-see them!

MK Thanks for your reply. Yes it was the white guy. The eyebrows look to be missing with what appears to be a smudge on top of the head. Upon closer examination, the smudge is the eyebrow printing but way up top and to the left side. Thankfully no parts were missing. I will, as you suggest, email LEGO and let them know of this quality issue. Especially since mine was not the only occurrence.

Thanks for emailing them. Lego has let their quality control decline. I even sent comparison pictures and they agreed with me that Legos aren't what they used to be.

If we, their fan base and consumers don't complain it won't get better.

I had an issue with misprint on a clone helmet, tbf they were very good with replacing but in the same breath there shouldn't  be this issue in the first place. The efficiency of it also makes me think that it is a bigger problem than i thought it was. But saying that that was my first issue in 20 years with Lego so maybe I’ve been lucky compared to others

Helmet mis-prints are one thing. That's to be expected and Lego's pretty good about sending replacements for those if you ask.

But it's the overall quality control that's really sunk. Compare a piece from today to one from 5-6 years ago. You'll see that the injection mold marks are noticably worse today. And to that the occasional factory scratch, blemish, crack, or mis-print and the flaws add up fast.

The quality has gone down and the price has gone up. Complain, ask for replacement parts for low quality pieces even if you try to justify "not needing it", and eventually Lego will get the picture and make positive changes. It's their moto that says "only the best is good enough." Make them live up to it.

On an unrelated note, I got the boarding set today. I love it, excellent set, and I really did get a sense of value from it- it's very dense and of course chock-full of figs. Fives is wonderful, the Kama being flat actually looks great in real life, which I wasn't expecting. The main issue I do have, though is QC, which I feel like is going off the rails. I've had more QC issues with lego in the past year or two than in my entire childhood. This set was missing Vader's lightsaber blade and the male stormtrooper's head was misprinted- the eyebrows are pretty far to the right so now he looks really skeptical. It generally wouldn't be an issue, but lego does charge a LOT for their sets, so you'd expect them to have a better grasp on it than this. I know if I was a kid and this was my first Vader, I'd be devastated that his lightsaber blade wasn't included instead of now, where I can just grab one from my weapons bin

Lego's quality control has clearly gone downhill in recent years. And you are correct, for the price they charge we should expect better QC. Please send them a message/complaint. Even if you don't ask for replacement pieces, Lego needs to know we aren't happy with the corners they are cutting. They won't change their model unless they hear from us.

@MKJoshA : I will be unable to post something decent before the 11 th.

I will have something the 14th.

But what I'm building will be posted anyway. Overdue or not.

That's only a few extra days. Should we take a vote and see if everyone is okay with extending the contest 1 week?

My second moc failed. I wanted to build a octagonal platform for the next moc but i don't have enough parts of the kind i need and the fiddly techniques drove me so crazy, i now need a ticket for the bus to Arkham Asylum :pir_wacko:

I'll keep the idea in mind and tackle it again in 1 or 2 years or so.

I doubt it'll take you that long to try again!
