Gresh: Awesome! I love his new bat-like face and the way the colors blend. His two-colored weapon is pretty win, too. Vorox: Hm... I don't like the eye effect in the CG, but he's still pure bad-assery. Strakk: Ice-blue!!! I love it! The new armour will be useful in rahi. Tarix: Gold! And I like how he has the launcher attached with an old joint on top of the new hand. Pretty spiffy! Malum: Okay, he just got a whole lot cooler. I was iffy when those small CG pics came out, but now, with those weapons, He might be the first of the fire sets so far to be on my wishlist. Skrall: WAAAAAY awsome. The spidery thing means that we can use more imagination and our own creatures as adversaries!!! Atakus: Glow in the dark?!?!? On an impulse set?!?!? That guarantees him. Berix: ....maybe. He's pretty neat, but the face might bug me. Zesk: Cooler than the rest!!!! Metus: The cool new mask is great, and I love the shield. New parts AND RECOLORS! Raanu: Not as cool as Malum, but still okay Tarduk: once again-batlike. I'm beginning to think that the Jungle element will be VERY unique. On another noe, the black-yellow mix color on the madu Thornax fruits is pretty neat-O

Yes. And more importantly, this means that we have reached the final stage of the pictures. All that is left is actual sets to show up in stores. I was thinking they might be earlier because the pics came earlier. Remember the Piraka? Those prototype pics came in October and the Piraka arrived early December. The Glatorian pics came WAY earlier, so I'm thinking late November...

I LOVE Atakus's glow dual-colored swords!!! Cool parts in an impulse set!!! These little guys are DEFINITELY worth the price!!!

Too true. I really was looking forward tko the recolours. Thouhg, with the tan one-color piraka feet on Vorox, I think 2009 is doing fine. OH! Look closely at the CG pic of Skrall-he has black Vorox armour on his thighs, as opposed to the prototype pics which had solid black Kalmah armour.

Nay. I liked the green claws because they looked like a frill almost. Like a true jungle monster.

His Thornax launcher is on his wrist, since he carries two melee weapons-I like that. Most of the 2009 sets carry two melee weapons or at least one badass melee weapon.

In the 2009 topic, there have been several impromptu epics and since that topic is supposed to be for the sets alone, I am starting a place where we can continue this fun. RULES: If you are adding to another epic, ask first and then say that it is a continuation of that epic. This will make it not so confusing. Gelu ducked the blow and returned fire, sending a beam of elemental energy out at him. Not a pansy beam set to stun, like a toa(what's a toa?) but a hardcore KO beam. Fortunately, Skrall ducked it, while simultaneously throwing his ice shield like a disk which froze it's target on contact. With Gelu frozen, the other four opponent Glatorian were outnumbered. So they took their frosted comrade, and left. ...Then Greg F. showed up, and started correcting the errors of this epic. When he finished, the situation was far, far different...

I liked it. the style reminded me of the 01 comics. The sets are great, but we do a lot of great sets, and have a lot of recognizable brand names for our lines, but they are not the same as BIONICLE because they do not have the mythology behind them.

I really hope Mata Nui's set is cool enough to be him. Of course, it can't be TOO cool, or it would out-shine the other five canister sets of the summer. He really should've been a titan set or a canister-sized being with a steed, contraption, or vehicle. Or even other characters. What would be REALLY neat, would be if we got boxed sets that had numerous toa-sized beings or matoran-sized beings AND a rahi, vehicle or contraption. That way, it would be like a battle-pack like with the rahi of 01
