LDD 4.3.10 Update Released
The Mugbearer replied to gedren_y's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Can someone tell me whom I shall E-Mail to make them finally fix the color and decal palette UI in Extended Mode?! Color Palette needs a scroll bar. Urgently. Decal Palette/Pop-up should not freeze every now and then when I try to scroll it! It also should not disappear when I do not focus my mouse on it, add an X button in the corner for Christ's sake! -

That's a bit too rushy to say in my opinion. Everyone can find a way to be more creative. -

[Software] TransClear - Thumbnail handler for Lxf-files
The Mugbearer replied to teabox's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
If we go step by step, here is what I've done: 1. I have downloaded TransClear-Installer.zip through the provided Dropbox link. 2. I have unpacked the Zip into a separate folder. 3. I have run the installed.exe with Admin rights. 4. After a few seconds of delay I receive this: https://i.gyazo.com/...e885c900217.png 5. The first error field is in Russian, I can't translate it since I don't know the specific terminology in English. That's about it. EDIT: I have also unlocked the executable. EDIT 2: I am an idiot. I have not unlocked the dll so the executable didn't see it. Now everything works fine! -
(The image is clickable) So basically, this MOC is inspired by Nintendo 64 racing game Extreme-G where player races against the AI or other players on desolate expanses of the old Earth using remotely controlled super-speed motorbikes. Also have a low-res rotation GIF:

[Software] TransClear - Thumbnail handler for Lxf-files
The Mugbearer replied to teabox's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hello! I am having troubles installing the thumbnail handler. in System.Windows.Markup.WpfXamlLoader.Load(XamlReader xamlReader, IXamlObjectWriterFactory writerFactory, Boolean skipJournaledProperties, Object rootObject, XamlObjectWriterSettings settings, Uri baseUri) in System.Windows.Markup.WpfXamlLoader.LoadBaml(XamlReader xamlReader, Boolean skipJournaledProperties, Object rootObject, XamlAccessLevel accessLevel, Uri baseUri) in System.Windows.Markup.XamlReader.LoadBaml(Stream stream, ParserContext parserContext, Object parent, Boolean closeStream) in System.Windows.Application.LoadBamlStreamWithSyncInfo(Stream stream, ParserContext pc) in System.Windows.Application.LoadComponent(Uri resourceLocator, Boolean bSkipJournaledProperties) in System.Windows.Application.DoStartup() in System.Windows.Application.<.ctor>b__1_0(Object unused) in System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) in System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler) Could it be because it's Win10 and not Win 8.1? -
[Digital MOC Commission] Akida and Ikir

Another digital MOC commission, done for lovely ghost-mantis! This time it’s Akida and Ikir, and I am very proud how they came out. Ikir’s wings actually follow the anatomy of real avians, and are properly foldable! --- Now folks remember, if you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info!

Another digital MOC commission, done for lovely ghost-mantis! She commissioned me to do my revisions of two of her favorite Elemental Creatures - Uxar and Ketar. As you all can see, I took a very drastic approach. They do not look anything like their sets, and both me and Ghost-Mantis are okay with that. I made Uxar to look like both a moth and a dragonfly, with fluffy body and long tail. As for Ketar, I just made him a scorpion which he supposed to represent. I am quite proud of this segmented back and organic pincer design. [Software] LDD2PovRay
The Mugbearer replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hi! So, I have a problem - sort of. I am using some hidden colors for my renders, and the one called "metallic blue" ends up completely black on my pre-renders: What should I do to make render look like that: Is there any settings I've missed? -
Hello community! Some of you may remember, the others don’t, but some years ago I actually ran a LEGO CUUSOO project that proposed to create a line of micro ships from your favorite game FTL: Faster Than Light. Despite having a huge following and even some articles on the media, and reaching the ultimate goal of 10.000 followers, the Lego Group did not pick the project for their LEGO Ideas set. I have promised myself that one day I will make the instructions available for the fans, and laid low for too long. But wait no more! I have put the PDF instructions for the micro ships from FTL: Faster Than Light on Gumroad! You heard that right, this is not a drill! The instructions are released in two forms: individually and in bundles! The three FTL Bundles cost 9$ and include a set of instructions for FTL ships plus a FREE instruction of game’s mascot ship The Kestrel! The one MEGA Bundle costs 22$ and includes all available FTL ship instructions AND A FREE instruction of The Kestrel! And finally, each PDF instruction is also sold separately for 5$. !Check out my Gumroad profile to see what’s available! But wait, there’s more! To provide an example of an instruction, and for the sake of self-advertisement, here’s an absolutely free of charge PDF Instruction with The Kestrel and a SUPER BONUS in form of an instruction of SSV Normandy from Mass Effect franchise: >>>CLICK HERE<<< Awesome! Now, a couple of disclaimers, just to be sure we’re on one page. 1. I do not own FTL Faster Than Light. It’s a game made by Subset Games aka Matthew Davis and Justin Ma, and y'all should know that, we're on their forums. The instructions are sold with their approval. 2. These are digital goods, which means there are no piece packages. Those are PDF files that show you how to assemble those micro ships with the pieces available, plus brick lists so you could easily buy what you need. 3. The choice of instructions included in the bundles is not random. With the help of Glen Bricker and polls he made during the CUUSOO campaign we’ve paired them up, so there’s that. Don’t request new bundles or ask to remake the existing ones. 4. Yes, the Kestrel is in every bundle. It’s free, so why not, right? 5. If you want me to make something that you like, go and check my Commissions info post. And now, shout-outs! Shout-out to Subset Games for making an awesome game that inspired me to make this all possible! Shout-out to Glen Bricker, who supported me through all the hardships of doing the CUUSOO project and beyond that. Go, check out and support his current project Brickyt! Shout-out to Stefan “Sastrei” Garcia for creating those amazing instructions! Go check out his Homeworld conversions! Shout-out to all of you who followed and supported LEGO FTL project on CUUSOO, and to those of you who over the years found me and told me that you are still waiting for the instructions to happen! Here’s to you, FTL and LEGO fans! And a little shout-out to my first customer artiestroke from Tumblr. You’re the MVP Roxy. :3

Lariska is an agile and deadly member of the Dark Hunters in G1 Bionicle universe. Said to be always in motion, performing feats of acrobatics and playing with her many knives, she is one of the best assassins The Shadowed One has in his employment. (all images are clickable) The images above, except for the poster are a part of Digital MOC commission I did for Tumblr user Ghost-Mantis. If you want to know more about my Digital commissions, please follow this link. The model itself is based on a drawing made by Just-A-Drawing Cat from Tumblr.

Well, I still use LDD to Pov-Ray converter, and here's my latest MOC rendered in it (actually a lowres version to test the colors): If I am not mistaken, the blade is a new part. And it have rendered all right. What exactly is your problem Kolonialbeamter? Do you get errors?
