I like the idea, but I don't think lego would be willing to make a series of sets based on innocent jedi being murdered.

I agree, having obi-wan without ponda would be disappointing and kind of pointless. and to be honest, I could do without the band. sure, they would be nice. but I think the figure slots are better used for other characters.

I just don't see anyone behind the counter. besides, they are prelims anyway. anything could change. I mean, those squidwards could be anyone. hopefully the toy fair in February will clear things up a bit.

there is one coming out this year.but I don't think it has all of the figures you listed. you can see prelims here.(btw, this is for what lego has not made yet. a remake would go in the future SW sets thread.)

I think we need a duel of the fates set, I'm actually kind of suprised lego hasn't made one yet. they've made sets for the major duels in the other 5 movies. true, but I think he's on to something with the trans.

Very nice designs, they all look very accurate. I only have one tiny criticism: the legs on the at-st look a bit to short. other than that, the they all look great.

I agree with this, A tie interceptor with the new greys is overdue.

Did you see a picture of the advent calender somewhere? Is there a source?

hero factory is the only theme delayed. the star wars sets won't be out in the U.S. 'till I think mid-February or march. I think I heard it had something to do with the lego movie, but I'm not for sure this is why.

If lego were to stop producing star wars sets, I would likely buy some of the older sets, I actually like the blocky-nes and simple nature of the older star wars sets.

I could see why you would want new torso/leg printing, but wouldn't back printing be covered by the cape?

ok, so I wanted to try my hand at brickfilms, so I grabbed my camera, and took a few pictures. and shots with the whole figure in the frame come out pretty good. but when I tried to take a close up, they became fuzzy. the camera I'm using is a fujifilm ax560. I have tinkered with the settings, (it's in "text" mode in these pictures.) but can't seem to get it focused. (it is kind of old now though.) are there any tips on how to fix this? if not, are there any recommended cameras for brickfilms? preferably something in the $100-200 price range?

I've looked thoroughly but can't find anything that hasn't already been pointed out.

I would like to see a duel of the fates set. the front part could be a small hangar with sliding doors to reveal darth mual. behind that could lead to the generator with a few of those pinkish bar things with platforms around them, a bridge leading up to at least 3 or 4 those trans-red shields, and at the end the pit. minifigs could include obi-wan, qui-gon, darth mual, padme in that purple naboo outfit, panaka, and 1 or 2 naboo guards. I would like droidekas too, but i'm not sure those qualify as minifigures.

Apologies for bumping an inactive topic, but there's something I found quite odd about this. I have a copy of the set with the box and it had no kind of inside panel, instead all of that pictured is on the back of the box. were there different production runs of the box?

I don't know much on making my own decals, but around the internet, (particularly on photo sharing websites like flickr) you can find a variety of decals ready to print. an average lego torso (minus the neck peg) is roughly 1.3 centimeters tall and 1.5 wide, and a lego head is about 1.2 centimeters tall and 1 wide. hope this helps.

the inside looks much better than I expected. If the price is reasonable, I just might have to get this. also, I like the figures. sure the eyes are kinda wierd, but they're not THAT bad are they?

the house looks great to me, I hope all the minifigures can fit on the couch.

to me it looks like the at-at is mostly identical to the one we got in 2010 besides the minifigures. I quite like the star destroyer and the cantina though. I think because of the angle of the picture theres a bit more to the cantina we cant see.
