On the contrary, I think that the Orthanc won't come with many minifigures because of its high price point and guaranteed exclusivity. I'm sure it will come with a couple of minifigures (Saruman and Grima perhaps). As for minifigures bringing a set to life, that is true in almost every case these days. With big sets like this one, minifigures are less important and are not necessarily needed to bring the model to life, because sets at such prices are supposed to focus on the model over the minifigures, as a general rule. -

About the likelihood of a Thor 2 set to correspond with the release of the movie: I don't think it will happen. I mean, I'm sure we'll get a Thor 2 set, but I doubt LEGO will break their release patterns. They didn't do it for TDKR, so I don't see why they would do it for Thor 2. I anything, the best we can hope for is one Thor 2 set in January 2014 containing Thor (with helmet perhaps?) and Malekith as a bare minimum, probably at the £40 price point. Quite frankly, just one set would be fine with me, unless there is loads of awesome stuff in the movie, in which case I would crave more than one set. *EDIT* I just realised that I have said this before, but in much less detail. Never mind. -

Don't worry, I have seen the Star Wars films (including The Clone Wars). As for how I live, it's not particularly difficult. I have plenty of films that I like. Mind you, maybe I should watch BttF at some point in the future... -

I also had fun watching Thor today, this time paying more attention to it than I did when I first watched, so I actually noticed Hawkeye this time. It also got me excited for Thor: The Dark World all over again. -

It doesn't as far as I'm aware. I'll be honest, I'm not that bothered about getting the exclusive minifigure; I was just curious as to where it would end up in the UK. -
I can understand the desire to get rid of the origin stories (they bore me to death unless it's one I've never heard of or seen before), but not everyone does know what happened. Sure, we know, but there is no guarantee that the target audience know. That is the only reason they have to be there, regardless of how dull they are.

I will probably be too. Not necessarily because I'm a Back to the Future fan (I'll be honest, I've never seen the films before), but because it features in a music video from a song that I really like (Deer in the Headlights by Owl City). I can't wait to see this set finally get revealed to us. -

The Dark Knight Rises. Well, I haven't finished re-watching it yet (I'm doing so as I type), but I'm getting there. It's not as good as The Dark Knight, but it is one hell of an epic conclusion to Nolan's Batman films. -

I also find it strange how it can have a torso that is so basic in comparison to the rest. In additon, I find it somewhat ironic that the torso in the link you provided is actually, in my opinion, better than the torso on the Revolution Soldier (as I choose to call it). -

I see that this tidbit of information has yet to be posted here: There and Back Again has had its release date pushed back to December 2014 (the 17th of December if I remember correctly). Also, I wonder what UK store will supply the triple-pack with the exclusive Bilbo Baggins minifigure. -

I'm pretty confident that it will be only one piece. When we saw the pictures of the parts several months ago, the tomahawk piece was in among them all, and it was just one piece, It would have been nice (but not particularly useful) if the blade was removable from the pole. -

I expected as much. Sure, it starts as a DeLorean but the final thing is totally different. To me though, it doesn't matter whether this set has the DeLorean name in it or not. It's just something that is interesting to take a look at. After all, there isn't really anything else to discuss as of yet. -

I don't see how I could forget this, considering that it didn't come out in the UK until 23rd November (if my memory is correct) and I had been hoping to get it for Christmas (I didn't get it for Christmas in the end). However, I'm not sure whether the LEGO LOTR release date suggests anything about the release date of this game. It's likely that this is all coincidental. -

No offence intended to the original designers, but I really hope that LEGO don't stick to the original design that was created. I can guarantee that LEGO will improve the original design before we see the set in LEGO stores and on S@H. -
It seems that the Green Goblin will be appearing in Amazing Spider-Man 2 as well. I'm not going to see this as I'm not happy with this latest bunch of Spider-Man films though. The Sam Raimi films are my version of Spider-Man. I wasn't a fan of The Amazing Spider-Man, but I'm sure others will find this interesting.

The Incredibles has deserved a sequel since it was released due to the fact that Pixar left the ending so open with a lot of room for a potential sequel. As for Toy Story, I seriously hope they do not make a Toy Story 4. The series is fine with 3 and making a 4th would just be milking it in my opinion. -

Based on the fact that we got one set based off The Dark Knight Rises in January this year, I assume that LEGO will make one set from Thor: The Dark World and release it in January 2014 so as not to break up the regular release patterns. I also imagine that the one set we get will include Thor and Malekith at the very least. -

Wow! Once again TLG have blown me away with another great CMF series! Granted, it isn't the best of the lot (that honour currently belongs to Series 9), but it is a very nice series nevertheless. The golden minifigure is very disappointing IMO. I wouldn't mind getting one but it's not something I'm particularly interested in. I would rather have the golden minifigure in a normal colour scheme rather than the golden one. As for the rest, the Roman Centurion and the Medusa are so good that they are miles better than the others IMO. All 16 of the main minifigures (I count the golden minifigure separately) will be mine! -

That's a better release date IMO. Even though I probably won't end up getting this game until Christmas, it would be better for me if it was released earlier because it would be easier to find when it gets close to Christmas and it will possibly not be as expensive. -

In my opinion, something like this is long overdue. I'm glad that LEGO have finally done it after all these years of either hair or hat (sometimes both, but very rarely and only very recently (starting in the POTC sets)) on a minifigure's head.

Wasn't this (the bit in bold) the origin of Two-face in the comics? As for that original ending, it would have made sense for them to do that and were it not for the unexpected death of Heath Ledger, I imagine those plans would have proceeded. -
