I think it looks like new 52 also, but honestly there are numerous versions of batgirl that look like that.

This may actually be a possibility, considering the outfit looks exactly the same- just simplified and bright yellow instead of gold. Those four that were announced are only for the January wave. There will be more in tanother 2014 wave. And besides, you aren't counting the junior set.

There won't be another advent calender this year. They always design and release them waaayyyy in advance so they can get picked up in time for Christmas. They have already announced the ones for this year, and Ive heard stray copies of the star wars calender have already been found. If there was going to be a DC calender, we would already know.

Well leaked pictures actually showed up from the retailers catalogue of star wars ( I saw them) and all of those he got exactly right, so that can validate his claims.

Actually, Superman was the only one of those three 2011 figs (and of any Comic con exclusive for that matter) to be released exactly the same in a set.

I looove the details of this moc. The explosion is just beautiful and the letters and the bike are a nice touch. The explosion does look a little weird with those translucent antenna pieces, but the smoke and the wall pieces look just fine. Nice job!

Nice job! I might be getting bored of all of lego's bat-vehicles, but this is a fresh new idea! I love the details of this mod!

I agree with blackstone, if the Steam roller doesn't have GL, I'm welcome to a cheap Joker. And a cheap robin, for that matter, as I still don't have him (I'm kinda new to super heroes).

I would think that you are correct. I can't see why they do these sets though. It seems like a confusing waste of the licence, especially to make such basic, primitive sets like Bats and Robin in the Batcave vs. Joker. The only reason people really lynched on to Bale was because he was the first actor to make a really, really good batman film. And now everyone thinks the only place we can go from there is down. -
I think it was more about lego designing a set that was unappealling to them, considering the project that got the votes had little to no actual set ideas.

Add in a couple more figs, a better helicopter, a larger price and that is EXACTLY what I hoped the lego one would be. This MOC is excellent and looks like a real set. I loved how you added features like the turntable and the exploding wall of armor while keeping true to the movie! Thanks for sharing!

The very first morning it was on it there was one for MSRP, so I had assumed that they sold out. It was also sold out by the end of the first day on Lego, and Target and Toys R Us Canada listed it as unavailable. But now that lego has it back on their page, I assume the stock is back to normal, and it will be popping up for MSRP soon. For a little while though, the rush to get it will mean it sells out super fast. But assuming its as popular as Minecraft and they make more beyond the original production run, it eventually will probably be stable and stay at MSRP. All these 3rd party sellers are just trying to mooch off of that "I have to have it " feeling and hoping to get someone willing to pay. Good luck on getting it. I;m waiting too! -

I've got a bunch of these too! If you put two together they make a pretty good base for any kind of tower, and then you can add what you want on top of it. -

That's interesting! I got all the old lego studios monster sets so I remember these well! The differences I see from the actual product is the brain on Frankenstein the 1x1 tiles to elevate him, and the hooks for the werewolf's hands. I kind of wish they had added those things to the real sets! Where did you find these? -

Well I think he is trying to get the architecture style on coruscant like the Jedi temple-stylistic and kind of castle-ish. I can't speak for ACpin, but I think that is what he's going for.
