I don't understand much of the criticism it's getting. There's a Star Wars formula. Don't expect anything more than what we got (which was fantastic) to start off the new trilogy. No offense but all it is in my eyes is whining about the small details of a great movie. The original Star Wars movies had flaws too. Don't go nitpicking at a trilogy we don't know the full story to. If I judged ANH knowing there would be two more and be as cynical as some, I'd probably hate it and ask why Lucas even wasted time on it. And everyone looking back to the EU are going to be dissatisfied. You can't drop a planet on Chewbacca and expect it to look cool on screen. (Not a spoiler BTW if anyone is trying to avoid them.) A lot of the EU stuff was complicated and wouldn't work well on film. Disagree with me all you want but if it could happen, why did Disney retcon it? It's not evil to do that. I loved TFA, as a film, it was flawed but so was the OT. It set up sequels quite well and delivered emotionally. The acting skills were phenomenal all around. Phasma could've done more but you don't want to waste all your big guns for the first movie. That's what a lot of people need to understand. The general audience needs to like these movies too. If you get your EU or everything you wanted you get a jumbled movie and a bad call from the film makers. I cannot wait for Episode VIII and what it will add to the trilogy. Kylo Ren was terrifying and Driver's performance was electric. As I've said. I cannot wait for VIII.

Really disappointed with Black Panther, he obviously wears a cowl. The sets however look amazing. I'm actually pretty happy to see Agent 13 too, she was awesome in TWS. Don't know why she's getting so much flack for being in the mix. All the new prints look great among that. I'm probably the only one who adores that War Machine. I really like how these sets loosely tie into the movie and look a bit more colorful. It's a movie about a sad conflict that comes to fruition. Just the right mix for these and the BvS sets.

I think everyone needs to realize that full prototype figures are impossible... Like, where were you for the news the past few years? Why would LEGO waste all that money to make those. I'm actually getting frustrated with this because it's obvious. "Prototype figures" are just your coping mechanism if you actually believe that these are real, like, really?

Black Widow seems to have her Iron Man 2 suit in the trailer. Hoping we don't get a black and blue suit, but rather black and grey. That'd be nice to have.

In case you're mistaken, that is infact, a toy. I'm fine with what we got. I don't want to see another Lex Mech. And the fact that it looks 100% fake. I'd fire anyone who designed that mech and made it into a movie. They need to sell something that kids can use to fight Batman and Superman and not make it look like two Superheroes stealing lunch money.

I saw that we didn't have a thread for movies that people are looking forward to. So I decided to make a discussion for movies that aren't out yet but we want to see. I think if you are anticipated for any Superhero movie or Star Wars it could be safe to say so here, I mean. If you're anticipating it and post it, it should hopefully be true. I thought it'd be nice to have a thread where people can say "Hey, this movie looks great!" and have another continue, "Wow, I never heard of that. Maybe I should look into watching that." I'll go first and I have an obvious movie that I am anticipating. "H8ful Eight"! This is the eighth film directed by Tarantino. I really enjoyed the trailer that recently came out and like the overall plot of it. The script was leaked so if you read it, please don't spoil it to me. The cast looks spectacular and the trailer just had that flavor to a Tarantino film. I'm super excited for this movie! Anyone else?

That's a fantastic article. Though it was obvious I think that hit the nail in hard enough. I'm pretty surprised how big of a buzz this was. I'd also like to comment on The Gotham City Cycle Chase, (mouthful, jeez.) I really like the design of this set and the fact that it seems LEGO really has it look like the villains are too much for Batman. I just wanted to comment on that. It's pretty interesting because in all the sets Batman is featured in they make it look like it's the easiest thing in the world to stop the criminals. Matching with Suicide Squad, I think it was a nice little touch that the villains finally get some spotlight. Because Batman does have like the greatest set of villains ever. (Now we wait for a set that only includes villains. ) EDIT: Apparently this was my 666th post and I talked about the villains and had a devil emote.

This is a thread? Seems like a nice time to thank the moderators who handle the Licensed Forums. Some people in those threads just love to start things. Thank you all for your service wrangling threads full of useless arguments. I think we (or at least I) don't appreciate staff here this much although they're the reason this site isn't dead. It's been running since 2003(?). It's been a nice time here so far but I don't think I've ever engaged with staff. As for the rude moderators thing, I have a different perspective. Some people are flat out dumb sometimes. The mods are here to remind them that there's no alpha to the forums and that they need to play well. But that is also just my 2 cents.

I think we forget that the designers get to choose what designs they prefer to be in a set. Though we "deserve" ( ) a New 52 Superman It's the designer's choice. So it could never come, or it could.

The BP mask sketch is fantastic! Hope that's what we get. I personally would hate for LEGO to give him a Batman like mask/head. I want more African American heads without the face being covered. But I love how the diversity is growing so quickly! Eventually we'll have an awesome mix of female heads and heads of multiple ethnicities!

How about that leaked BvS Superman? He has moulded boots too. No offense but I'd rather have printed legs than moulded. Hopefully one day we get a mix! The light blue lines on Supes look a bit odd too. The hair is pretty meh along with that. Maybe it's just the legs that throw me off.

It's been a bit obvious about how fake they were. The masks could easily be LEGO too. But we're getting 60's Batman with that cowl. The blue Batman was odd. As the torso had the old abs and logo but another belt. Highly doubtful it's real though. If one is in the Batcycle, then why would he have wings? It doesn't make sense at all. I hate making the same argument although it's so blatantly obvious that these are fakes. C'mon.
