So after seeing solid brix review on the gunship it’s kind of made the gunship a bit worse for me.I still like how it looks display wise, looks pretty accurate but it’s so hollow on the inside with no features it just looks void and since it’s smaller accessing the inside definitely looks like a bit of a problem.Going to get 1 and probably save for the 2013 version it’s definitely a bit huge but the accessibility and how much it has to offer to do is more my alley.

He went in hard on that review, he is not wrong though.

Amazing how they give you what you want in terms of sets yet miss the mark in execution.

Shrunken set here, no back printing on Ahsoka's T-6, poor minifig execution (2 clone commanders that aren't accurate at all, no kamas while other sets have them),  I hate to say it but TLG need to seriously reset their department/team heads here.  Also their mining print person, clearly not enough research being done here.

This might be the first wave where I get every set ( well every minifigure set, I'm obviously skipping Chewbacca).

I really expected Shin's ship to be grey, lol.

But all in all pretty super duper. I want Hyuang to represent David Tennant till Lego do Doctor Who again!

With you on the Chewie figure.

Ahsoka sets look like a really solid wave, still not Rogue One solid, but damn close.  Shuttle needs a wider cockpit piece, nice to see it retains the rotation element.

Having a 2 pack is nice, hope they continue with it, the red and yellow are interesting colour choices, nice to see some colour in the SW universe again.

The figures don't have to make sense, it's Lego!

I want an E-Wing with Legends characters, not Disney ones. Sorry Ahsoka.

Also, I think the new E-Wing is a slight redesign. So there's also that.

I think you have no hope of getting those obscure EU characters (unless you read some of he old X-Wing series or the dark horse comics).

It would have to be Disney approved, they won't greenlight sets with figures like that in it, not when current IP could fill the space.

I could see one from Fallen Order being like this: Stormtrooper Commander, 2x Scout Troopers (electro-staffs and web-gear). Purge Trooper (Includes Electrostaff and a Rifle). Include a set of cloth pieces for the different ranks of Purge Trooper.

I'd like to see the Mantis and the crew, perhaps a battle pack like the one above and one from Jedi Survivor with the Bedlam Raiders.  That would cover off both games in 3 sets, 2 small and 1 big, same love for The Old Republic.

    And a legends set:

E-Wing vs TIE Interceptor ($119.99): 181st TIE variant. Mara Jade, Luke Skywalker, Soontir Fel, Ysanne Isard.

You may get this from the Ahsoka show as here was clearly and E-Wing in the trailer.  None of the figures you mention really make sense, SF - 181st Tie Inteceptor, YI - had the SSD buried on Coruscant, not to mention her red uniform.

Think it comes in Ahsoka if it ever comes.

Not even remotely close to the same thing; UCS at $350 isn't aimed at the same customer as a $120 play-scale gunship. If you use this logic micro fighters and UCS are the same so we've had 3 rRzorcrets in 3 years and 3 AT-AT in 2 years. I'd like to say more but I don't wanna get told off by mods so alls I'll say is its a silly way of thinking.

I agree, different levels of affordability.  Nowhere near the same scenario.

I do find it pretty hilarious how lifebricks spent half of his latest video criticizing people for reposting fakes (e.g. the fake UCS death star pic) and acting irresponsibly to get clicks, when the thumbnail of the video is literally that exact fake set with question marks over it in order to get clicks.

I found the irony laughable too, pretty sure I mentioned a few pages back that LB seems to say what he heard only after its been commented on elsewhere.

I'm beginning to think his vids are only after we've debated it here for a few pages.

Lego usually puts more pieces to sets with time last gunship had around 1200 pieces also I still think they will make a big clone wars set for the anniversary so the set fits perfectly however I’m well aware it could be anything so if it’s not a gunship I will be disappointed sure but I know that my take has no basis other than mere speculation. Also I recently got a steal on a 2013 gunship so I would still don’t mind that much.

No, we are getting more sets for roj: The Tie Bomber, The Boush Helmet, The UCS X wing And the three Diorama sets and that’s without counting the big Ucs set that will most likely be ROJ for lone wars we have 5: The 501st battlepack, the 2 helmets, the swamp speeder and Yodas starfighter.

its 6 or 7 vs 5 and also compare the sizes of those sets. And mind you I’m not saying that the 1397 set is guaranteed to be a gunship, is just what I find most likely

So pure speculation on arithmatic is the reason behind a Gunship, and balanced sets between 2 anniversary collections.

Since 1999 when they first started, there has never been any real connection or balance to releases, some movies and TV shows have had more dominant waves or an additional waves. There hasn't been a balanced number of sets from any recollection.

I feel like in general, 99% of Instagram or YouTube "leakers" aren't reliable sources at all.  There are individuals that have gotten things right in the past, and then been completely off the mark on stuff later on.  Then there's the people who just repost/re-report rumors from IG/Eurobricks, and then it becomes a game of telephone where Eurobricks/IG then takes that as "fact" and suddenly in six months, when a set doesn't include Clone Commander Poop, everyone is confused about where that idea came from in the first place.

To be honest, there's a little over a handful of people/accounts with insider information that I think you can actually trust to be accurate and not just making BS up for the sake of clicks, and pretty much all of them reside on EB.  Granted, I know there's a few people who typically only report on SW stuff, which is the only theme I really follow leaks for anyway, so not sure outside of SW.

I was eluding to this a few days ago, the is nothing to stop anyone saying they knew something after the fact.

No one knew about the episode 2 set from the Mandalorian... certain people know a lot and can't say anything, others speculate on YouTube,  I wonder if it's just click bait, surely there isn't money in it for them.

I don't think we're gonna see the last Mando set next Tuesday unless they actually just screwed up the name. The new episode was interesting but doesn't fit the Fang Fighter v TIE name, and even if there was another set we don't know about I kinda doubt it'd be paced on this relatively slower episode.

The set seems to represent that scene completely,  they may switch the minifigs.  How nice would a tie pack be, Moff Gideons from season 1 and the Interceptor and the bomber from S3

Thanks for the welcome lol! The only bit I've seen cover it came from LifeBricks the other day but he kinda based it off of what minecraft goat was saying on here the other day. The suspicion is mainly rooted in how the set numbers got switched around and the SSD midi scale coming out of nowhere took the previous piece and price point. Idk how much I believe but I would truly be devastated if this set gets canned especially in light of lego cancelling the temple of doom.

I watch LifeBricks YouTube clips and I'm not so sure that he is as informed as he claims, I could be wrong but anyone who says things along the way as 'I've been told this by my sources', 'I've known this for the past x days', etc... may just be fishing in the same pond as we all are.

I have more respect for those who put it out there and are more right than wrong.  Those who just troll as typically easier to spot.

I'd be all for a remake of that Yoda starfighter from 2017, provided that it's smaller. The problem is, even if that is the case this year it would mean a smaller fighter for a higher price. A sidebuild could somewhat justify that situation. The alternative of the set being based on the BF2 Jedi interceptor would be interesting though, I love it when TLG uses games as source materials.

Games as source material, I think a majority would be hankering for the ship from Jedi Fallen Order...

Don't need a remake of the 2017 one...

It seems to me like this is something that occurred to literally every LEGO Star Wars fan as we watched those scenes

Someone at LEGO must have had the same thought, surely. When has there ever been a better candidate for a battle pack build besides maybe a BARC Speeder in a clone battle pack? I could definitely see one with a stormie, two army troopers, and one of the security officers coming out at some point IF THEY WERE WILLING TO DO MORE THAN ONE BATTLE PACK A YEAR

Love to see the BP with Mimban helmets and shields, that would be great.

Lol, yes, no matter what it ends up being those things in and of itself make this a garbage set. Price, stickers and shitty brick built creature. Nevermind 4 total minifigs lol. Garbage. You people can be sensitive to opinions. Get over yourself kid.

I think if Lego are going to make moulded animals there are some I'd put in front of a blurrg. Personally I'd like Bantha as it's in PT, OT and TBOBF

    Absolutely.

I'd kill for more The Last Jedi sets, it's my favourite Star Wars project ever.

Unfortunately, I missed out on Snoke's Throne Room or the Ahch-To set, so I'd happily get more sets based on this movie.

I feel pretty fulfilled with The Force Awakens (Starkiller Base set) and The Rise of Skywalker (nothing, and that's how I'll leave it), but I still want them to release more Sequel Trilogy sets.

I hate that LEGO has apparently forgotten it exists.

What in the TLJ could you possibly expect to see that hasn't been made?

It seems in Australia that the AT-TE is delayed to the 10th (and the Justifier to the 17th) in LEGO stores in Australia. Still gonna be available on LEGO.com though.

Yesterday my local LEGO store got the Scythe, Ambush, and Starfighter, so of course I bought them. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about how great the Scythe's value is. If you're purchasing it alongside the Ambush on Ferrix, the Ambush's terrible price is easily made up for by the Scythe. Like, this thing is massive. And the Inquisitors are at least 5x better in real life than in pictures.

People in Australia have been picking the AT-TE up in stores all weekend long.
