Hello, I'm Rijk.

I was born in 1988, so after a few Duplo sets, I think I got my first LEGO sets somewhere in the early '90s. Most of the sets from that age are small sets, mainly construction vehicles, although there are a few exceptions. Later came the bigger sets, and my town began growing. There are many themes that I love, but space and budget is limited so I can't collect or build all that I want. Some stuff had to go despite me loving it, but you can't keep everything. As of now what I'm mostly interested in regarding MOC's is building trains (1:45), monorails (brick-built track), and "what could've been sets", so instead of some super smooth detailed M:Tron layout, I try to design a simple base with pieces available back in the day, that could've appeared in a LEGO brochure. Oh, and I would really love to own an '80s layout.
