They are used in Italy too.

Thanks CB68. Could you please post the inventory list? I'd like to check how much it could cost on BL.
-
I've just found it hidden in a subpage of Italian website. Here's the link. http://city.us.lego.com/it-it/applications/trackplanner.aspx

Those platforms look great! Nice creation. I see you used a lot of small plates to reproduce tiles layout. I'd like to create some of them, but I think that they could costs too much with all those pieces. Perhaps you could simplify it to decrease parts and price.

A fast and cheap way to store your trains. Here's how.

They can't be compared. 3 Euro black box is for storage, while this is a showcase. Anyway yes, it's really expensive for 4 plastic pieces... -
I think that two sets are too much. Cargo sets have 3 wagons. I'm going to buy only an additional engine. This way you don't have to build a new jakob bogie.

Congratulations for your collection, LGB. It's impressive! -
Thank you, Dave. I've just sent an email to LEGO Customer Service.

Yes, thank you Alain. I don't want to install the Mono framework only to use Bluebrick. RailModeller doesn't have flexible tracks. My question is if anyone knows how to use LEGO Track Planner flash-based app, that has been recently removed from LEGO website.
-
Thank you for your reply, but BlueBrick is for Windows only.
-
LEGO has recently removed its official Track Planner. http://city.lego.com/en-US/applications/trackplanner.aspx Do you know why? I've tried to recover it using archive.org, but the app doesn't load, probably because it needs external resources that have been removed. http://web.archive.org/web/20120529170425/http://city.lego.com/en-US/applications/trackplanner.aspx Any suggestions? I would like to use it for some projects because it's simple and works on OS X. Thanks.

Fixed.

Just added a note in my first message. Thank you.
-
You can replace them with 2 x 3036 PLATE 6x8. BrickLink has thousands.
-
All the bricks are available except for the 2494 GLASS 4x5 in blue framed container. This is not a real problem as you can paint it (or cover it with a blue sticker) before assembling inside the window frame.
-
With a fast shipping you could get your set from BrickLink too.
-
Why not BrickLink?
-
After a restart it seems to work now. Thank you for your help.

I'm on OS X 10.8. Don't know if it's a bug on that particular version. There are several other known bugs for that release.
-
Congratulations, CamelBoy68! Awesome containers. Could you please share building instructions or inventory for those yellow and blue containers? Thanks.

I've tried several times. It doesn't work on my project. What do you do? Angle dropdowns stay disabled and compass doesn't appear on top left when using Hinge tool with flex tracks.
-
Thanks for your replies, MWAH and Lazarus. I prefer using LDD. I've managed to create a template with the exact dimensions and angles of the switch using some plates and flexible tracks. It's not pretty, but it works (see attached image). Anyway it's a shame that the PF switches are not included. There's another problem. Flexible tracks are not flexible... Do you know how to bend them?
-
I'm interested in #53404 and #53407 switches too. They are not in latest LDD 4.3.5. Does Anyone know how to add them? Thanks.

Hi all, just subscribed to eurobricks.com only to join TRAIN Tech forum. I'm a fan of LEGO and real trains since I was one meter tall. Now that I'm 33, my wife gave me my first LEGO Train (7938 Passenger Train) as a gift and I'm now starting my own collection. At the moment I own the following trains: - 7938 Passenger Train - 3677 Red Cargo Train - 7939 Cargo Train - 10219 Maersk Train (motorized) Emerald Night is in my wish list.

Thanks for your clarification, LLL.
