I've had it confirmed that they are indeed Flat Silver.

I think that Vidiyo set 43017 has Flat Silver hands... The parts aren't up on BL yet, but the Lego torso render strongly suggests that the hands are not just DBG: If they are, then Flat Silver will be complete :)

    Monochrome Minifigures

I'm virtually certain they're Bright Light Yellow hands. I'm so confident I've added it to my spreadsheet ahead of the release. Also, the legs and hips are the first time they've been available unprinted. Just need a head for it now.

    Monochrome Minifigures

I've updated my spreadsheet this evening, to add two more colours - 'old' Dark Pink Torso and arms (barely distinguishable from 'new' Dark Pink), and 'Paradisa' Pink Torso (distinct from old Pink). Although Bricklink doesn't count them as separate colours, Lego do. Both are retired colours. I'm holding off on that Trans-Light Purple minifig for now...

New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation

The problem is the strange dimensions of the minifigs. They're simply far too short for their width, and the 8-wide cars really show that up - the minifigs don't scale well with them height-wise. I don't mind too much, because when they're in the car they look fine.

New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Moving to 8-wide was a genius move by Lego. The 6-wides were too toy-like, too narrow, not enough detail able to be put into them. I only bought half a dozen out of all the 6-wides. I bought every single one of the 2020 range. They're perfect mini-models - highly detailed models in a fairly small scale, with a decent building experience and a decent price too for the single cars. No wonder they're some of the top-selling sets of last year. I can't wait to see what this year's sets look like.

Yes I agree. Although Trans-Neon Orange is a current colour. Also, the yellow figure looks a bit like Trans-Neon Green, apart from the helmet which is deffo Trans-Yellow.

Oh yes, I somehow missed that! Curious.

    Monochrome Minifigures

Hmmm, where did that photo originate? Given it's got an Iron Man helmet on it, which currently seem to be doing the rounds of the ABS trans figures, I'm tempted to say that it's come from the same place - i.e. a Lego factory. However, there is no currently available colour which looks anything like that. I've just come across this Clikits element in Trans-Light Purple, which looks very very similar. So it does indeed look to be Trans-Light Purple. Whether it's genuine or not, or whether Lego have decided to revive the colour and it just hasn't made it into any official sets yet, is another matter...

What's this about Trans-Light Purple? It's a Clikits-only colour which was retired 15 years ago. I struggle to believe that A) it's been revived after 15 years, or B) that someone out there has had a minifig in this colour for 15 years and no photos have emerged until now. Lavender is now completeable with the release of the new Ninjago sets. In addition, I've been alerted to the possibility of torsos in Paradisa Pink, and (old) Dark Pink. Examples of said torsos are currently on their way to me, and once I have them in hand I'll compare them with the (old) Pink and (new) Dark Pink figs I have, and decide whether they're the same or not...

    Monochrome Minifigures

No, but I have seen photos of one alongside other PC trans minifigs, from what I consider to be a fairly reputable source. Plus @samlr on here seems to think that there's at least one or two out there...

Personallh I don't think the one I got was fake. I think it was from the factory before they were printed for the Ninjago legs. Technically the Ninjago sets haven't been released yet, but they soon will be!

I've done a large update to my spreadsheet this evening. From the change log: Added Lavender Printed legs (2021 Ninjago) Split Transparent colours by material, duplicating colours where necessary Split Transparent Prototypes into 'Factory' and 'Prototype' types Changed Status of Trans-Med Blue to 'Retired' and Chrome Gold to 'Current' Added Keys below the Change Log Let me know if you spot any errors or have anything you think I should add!

Oh har har! Just noticed I have a new description above my picture! I might link to the spreadsheet in my signature. ... how do you edit your signature? EDIT: Got it. I had to go onto the mobile version to find the correct menu :)

    Monochrome Minifigures

Thanks for that. I think for the transparent minifigs I'm going to distinguish between PC and ABS ones - probably adding the same colour but a different material. This should cover the 'prototype wannabies' and the 'nightshift' figures, which to me seem to be the same kind of thing, except for the different material used. I'm fairly certain that when I do change the terminology, I'll restrict 'Prototype' to those that you describe as 'Genuine Prototype'. I.e. those produced officially in very limited quantities with the express permission of someone high up in TLG, but never officially sold. For the Light Nougat hips and Lavender legs (I assume you meant Lavender instead of Magenta), I'm not sure exactly what they are - I originally suspected they were being liberated from a factory in advance of the set they would eventually appear in becoming available. However I got my Light Nougat legs over a year ago now, and no sets have yet appeared. I therefore now suspect that they are effectively 'nightshift' Lego, so I will probably lump them in with those. However, I really dislike the 'nightshift' name and don't want to call them that. As you say, I suspect that Lego know about these but aren't that bothered. So they are, in effect, officially allowing it to happen. I'd really prefer another name to 'nightshift' or 'unofficial', but obviously they're not really prototypes either. Maybe I'll call them 'Factory'...?

    Monochrome Minifigures

That's why my spreadsheet distinguishes the 'prototype' parts clearly. I am thinking of splitting that down further into 'official' and 'unofficial' prototypes though, although finding the correct terminology is important, and it would also assume that all previous Transparent figs were produced 'officially' - i.e. with the blessing of someone at The Lego Group. But then you get into murky waters, because how far up the chain of command do you go? Presumably someone at a Lego factory gave their blessing to the current Transparent figures... Anyone got any thoughts?

    Monochrome Minifigures

I've not had chance to sit down in front of my computer (or minifigs) and really look at this yet, but my initial thoughts are below. Glow in Dark Trans. I haven't got my partially-complete minifigs available at the moment (they're in storage), but I'd be very surprised if those two pics that @steyin found are the Trans colour. It's simply not transparent. It's more likely to be the white version. That said, I don't take a couple of random pics from the internet as proof that a colour exists, as there are too many clone items now. I'd want photos from known collectors before I'd be willing to acknowledge Glow in the Dark Trans or Glow in the Dark White. I suspect from what @samir said that a couple of collectors may have rather old prototypes (which would then tally with the colour being retired), but I've never seen a photo. Not one. Additionally, I can't see any photos of a GID minifig on the instagram account mentioned. He has a few of the PC and ABS Trans-Clear minifigs side by side, and the older one looks a bit more milky, but my understanding is that that's just the different material used. I do not believe that it is GID.

Thanks, I'll digest all this when I'm next in front of my computer. Food for thought for some of the colours!

New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation

I'm very pleased there will be more sets. I picked up one or two each year of the 6 wide ones when I really liked them, but most of them looked too narrow to me. I really liked the move to 8 wide, as it allows the cars to be much more realistic and model-like. So much so that I bought the entire 2020 range.

    Monochrome Minifigures

Yes, it's perfectly possible to get plain parts for colours which technically have never appeared in a set as a plain part. I got a number of torsos like that. However, for the purposes of the spreadsheet, I've simply gone with what is available in sets, as that's easiest to determine.

If they called it Station House, they'd have to be careful next year not to release an Italian Theatre

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Hmm... We've had: CC - Cafe Corner MS - Market Street GG - Green Grocer FB - Fire Brigade GE - Grand Emporium PS - Pet Shop TH - Town Hall PC - Palace Cinema PR - Parisian Restaurant DO - Detective's Office BB - Brick Bank AS - Assembly Square DD - Downtown Diner CG - Corner Garage BS - Bookshop So yes, PS for Police Station would clash with Pet Shop, but I doubt that Lego will have put much thought into that. If it is that, We Afols will just have to refer to it as PS2 ;) I don't think they'll call it Police Precinct as it's only really America where they're called Precincts. Maybe 'Station House', or 'Police HQ'?
