Am I the only one still wondering who's the person launching the brains in the beginning of Episode 10-Brain Attack? Also, can someone explain to me how that Voltix-Von Nebula projection in Episode 8-Breakout, Part 1 works?

Do you have a Legoland Park bucket list?
Fikko3107 replied to Legogal's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I live in Indonesia, so going to LEGOLAND Malaysia is a simple 1 hour flight to Singapore, plus 45 minutes to Johor Bahru. I've been to LEGOLAND Windsor too, on a recent trip to London. And here's some points of thought: -LEGOLAND Malaysia is still new. It doesn't have the weathered look that Windsor's have. -I find Malaysia's Miniland more interesting. It's probably slightly biased, but I find the Merlion, the Great Wall and The Forbidden Palace more interesting in LEGO than Stonehenge or the Gherkin building. -LEGOLAND Windsor definitely has more rides. Everything Malaysia has, so does Windsor, but the opposite does not apply. I've been to LEGOLAND WIndsor once, and LEGOLAND Malaysia twice, one of which is a priceless and unpurchasable VIP Tour where I get to go to the Model Shop, raid rare bricks and enter the park before opening to see how it is prepped up every day. It was a great experience. -

Trans Clear LEGO Thru the years...
Fikko3107 replied to LEGO Historian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Cool Yellow (also known as Bright Light Yellow in Bricklink) is a color that I think was first introduced in a girl theme-Belville, perhaps? That is used rarely, including some minor appearances as hair (Thor's, The S1 Cheerleader and Chase McCain's hair is such a color.), in Spongebob Squarepants, in Cars and in Clikits. Recently though, it has made a comeback in Friends, particularly the Heartlake High set where the building is made up of them. -
Trans Clear LEGO Thru the years...
Fikko3107 replied to LEGO Historian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I uh, actually recently got to visit a model shop in LEGOLAND Malaysia. And was allowed to take whatever I want. I didn't shamelessly take lots of rare pieces, just some Dark Blue here and there, but some of my peers made off with a trove of Cool Yellow Bricks, Lime Green Bricks, and Transparent Jumper Plates and Round Tiles. My point is, don't deny an opportunity to visit there. They literally keep all the "uncommon, rarely used pieces" (to quote the master builder.) at a single corridor... -
The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Fikko3107 replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Pardon me, but I was answering the original question as specific as I can. To be technical, those Star Wars Mini Models contained extra pieces, and are not combiner models themselves. Reminds me of those Marvel (specifically X-Men) Action Figures which comes with parts to create an extra figure if you buy em all. Exo-Force sets did not have extra provisions; their combiner models are all built using pieces from the sets. However, these are extra instructions that you need to download online, the ones that are eventually taken down. These instructions are not split between the sets. Ben 10, Chima Constractions, Superheroes Constractions (Both DC and Marvel.), Hero Factory sets from 2011 and above, Friends Animals sets, a single Alpha Team combiner and a single Dino combiner all uses this method. (There might be more, I'm not sure.) Take note that I distinguish "Alternate Models" and "Combiner Models"; those that I just mentioned are all solely Combiner models. I'm not sure about Power Miners and Atlantis, the latter especially. I think Power Miners did have some, although I wouldn't have known since I've really just gotten out of my Dark Ages 3 years ago. I think Power Miners did have combiner builds, but I'm pretty sure they weren't PDF-Weren't they just some inspirational pictures? As a closing note, I'd like to mention that, besides the combiner that is released for the theme, LEGO Club, the website and the magazine, also sometimes create combiner model instructions based on existing sets, though the numbers online are starting to diminish. Personally, if we're getting a Devastator-esque combiner model of the blocky, black robots, I have a feeling they might be under the LEGO Club brand...- 2626 replies

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Fikko3107 replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nope, it's a usual occurrence with the early Bionicle sets. Here are some subthemes from 2001 to 2004 where 3 sets can be combined into a larger figure with the instructions spit between the sets: http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Toa%20Mata http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Bohrok http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Toa%20Nuva http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Bohrok-Kal http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Rahkshi http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Toa%20Metru http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Vahki And here are a couple of subthemes from 2005 where 2 sets can be combined into a larger figure with the instructions spit between the sets: http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Toa%20Hordika http://ww.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Bionicle&subtheme=Visorak After that, the practice is stopped altogether...- 2626 replies

Fully agree. Watched it too last...week? Yeah, last week. A friend of mine who's a stickler when it comes to vehicles insisted the Maersk Alabama is a radically different model than the Maersk Triple-E, but I too noticed the similarity. I think Tom Hanks' acting was top-notch, but my problem with it is one, without Tom Hanks it could easily have been a mediocre movie, and two, it really isn't what really happens in real life; Captain Phillips isn't really that heroic at all.

I don't want to be a stickler, but there was never a Crab Kaiju in Hong Kong. The only crab Kaiju in that movie is Onibaba, which attacked Tokyo, before being taken down by Stacker Pentecost on Coyote Tango. Are you referring to Onibaba, or Otachi, the large, flying, Acid-Spitting Kaiju in Hong Kong? Glad I'm not the only person who thinks the episode looked horrible visually. One shot had Furno literally looking like a mass of pixels. I'm optimistic about this as a whole. Exo-Force is one of my favorite themes, and I always have a penchant for Contraction themes. It might just be the first HF line where I buy more than two sets...

Runner Runner last Saturday. Horrible movie. The only somewhat redeeming feature is Ben Affleck's acting.

Are we excited for Carrie coming out next week?
Fikko3107 replied to BrickRally217's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Hell yes I'm excited. Considering it's based on a Stephen King novel and is one of the most banned books in the United States, an R rating sounds appropriate. -
Over 100 DC characters made in LDD and MS Paint
Fikko3107 replied to SoupOrFishOil's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
They look wonderful! I suppose it's too much to ask you to name them all? Love the Deathstroke. A bit disappointed that there are some that isn't there; personally, I was wishing for a Sodam-Yat, a Damian Wayne and a New 52 Flash... -

REVIEW: 7325 Cursed Cobra Statue
Fikko3107 replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great review! the name of the girl is Helena Tova Skvalling, actually, she's the group linguist, capable of speaking 6 different languages, she's exclusive to this set and she's the only character with a middle name, sometimes called Helena Skvalling and more rarely called Helena Tova. It seems that you, like me, gets the more common, faulty Helena torso with brown hands, instead of yellow.
