got the daily bugle set the other day and built it today... Awesome, just awesome! I think it might be the best super hero set yet. I do have to say I'd like to see some super hero sets with the spring loaded missiles we see in the star wars sets... the flick missiles are nothing special.

I was bummed denver lost but only because I can't stand the ravens... the 49ers however are me home team so that was awesome

I like the fig but want a nice gun to go with it... I'm not sure there is an actual rule that they have to have the same number of sets for DC/Marvel. I sent an e-mail to TLG awhile back and from the reply it sounded like Marvel and DC get a lot of say in what sets are made

a live action series would be awesome

Got most of the sets yesterday and the rest today! I built the Umbarin MHC today and was very happy to see the spring loaded projectile instead of the usual flick ones. great buy!

I wonder if we might see a set or multipule sets released around the same time as the game... It would make good marketing sense what with thor 2 coming out in the fall as well but TLG's marketing plan (like releasing a most of their winter line AFTER christmas) often defies logic so who knows

I'd like to see Wakanda added to that list... considering the Black Panther movie is all but confirmed they might want to have it in there

I was just thinking about the potential that the Hulk brings to a lego game. I want him to be able to pick up characters, hold them over his head and hurl them... I mean how funny would that be?

any info on the 4th lego star wars video game? Someone mentioned it in the superheroes thread but I wanted to post the question here... Perhaps it will be based on the clones wars animated show...

this is awesome! best news in awhile they say there will be more than 100 characters in the game so most likely he will be there but I doubt he'll be a pre-order figure

not that great... i would pay the money but I won't spend the time on a trip to the toy store just for this

I didn't say you implied anything, only that unless wout is a lier (which I doubt) there are going to be more than 20 sets total... it seems logical to assume that if everything we hear is accurate that the brickset number does indeed refer to total regular sets, as you say. I had not considered the possibility that 75024/25 might be exclusives... that would wrap the whole thing up nicely. I do hope there will at least be a slave 1 USC.

okay, so that means that unless wout is a lier we have 24 sets coming... perhaps the people at brinkset were referring 20 sets other than the planet series. also it would seem odd for TLG to have 20 sets useing only most of set numbers 75000-75021 and that would be assuming 75022-75025 were false. it just doesn't add up.

other than the number of sets amd the set names I don't think there is anything out there

If you look closely at the boxes for the two sets that are not from the current film the boxes say something about them being special preview sets.

It is my understanding that the company that makes the video games is part of warner bros' who also own DC. This makes any LEGO marvel games unlikely :(

I'm very exceited for these sets! I hope I am not let down at all. I am confused that they are being called summer sets when I thought they would be coming out a week or two before their movies and other summer sets come in june. Also... I am starting to wonder if we are going to be let down when it comes to the 3rd marvel set we were wishing for in January... Wouldn't something have been leaked by now?

I know this is a LEGO forum and not a political one so I will keep this short. On the subject of freedom of speech: I too am an American and I too greatly value the freedom of speech but what you do not realize is that this is a freedom enjoyed in many countries around the world to differing extents (speech is not 100% free in america). Blood has been likely been spilt in every nation there is in effort to secure this freedom, please respect that. Also realize that many in the international community feel that most Americans take the attitude that we have somehow cornered the market and are 'more free' than anyone else, please take care how you represent America and it's people in your online activities... Of couse, ultimately, how you do so is still your choice.

welcome lego brother! Glad you've had such a good time so far. I too only retruned to lego through sharing it with the new generation. I'm sure the same is true for many. I regret that while all three of your bricks look familer the 20 or so year gap in my lego experince leaves me at a loss. I very much hope someone here is able to give you your answers!

just noticed that Brickipedia now has a listing for TBA marvel set... I wonder if they know anything we do not...
