Digging thru the history about LEGO...
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to LEGO Historian's topic in General LEGO Discussion
No. 15 looks like Sand Green! -
If Edna was Edson, I would still be against replacing his voice actor, just as I would be against a new Lionel Hutz or Troy McClure. Anyway, I agree that Edna should be either in the CMF or in a possible future Springfield Elementary. As both a tribute to Ms. Wallace and also because it would be really strange to exclude her from a school set, as she was here as recently as Yellow Subterfuge.

There's a whole lot of stuff that doesn't seem to be on the radar as sets, and I doubt there'll be another wave. Like the Octan delivery truck, the flying coffee machine, the Overpriced Coffee place...

Confession thread: How many PAB cups have you spilled at a LEGO Store?
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to legoman19892's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Never spilled a whole cup, but the other day when I was filling a small cup with Dark Red 1x2's, some slipped out. But I got them off the floor.- 31 replies

LEGO Doctor Who now a possibility?!
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to TheDoctor's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Eight's my favorite, but unfortunately most of his material is audio. -
It's nothing to do with the writers or directors. Marcia Wallace died last year.

Single Pane LEGO Licensed Theme Funnies
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Licensed
As has been proven in various extremely important LEGO sources, Mars Mission aliens are not Martians, but in fact invaders from another planet. Worst. Comic. Ever. Before you're offended, read it in a Comic Book Guy voice. -
Quality of service at LEGO stores.
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to Gatthekid's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I went to the LEGO Store in Nashville a week ago, and aforementioned employee with dreadlocks wrapped my cup perfectly well. So I guess it was just that he was new. -
Yes.

Why would they do an incredibly obscure version of Bart in the series, which is supposed to be an easy way to get the normal versions of the family?
-
I thought of the whole beer thing. They could either use buzz or pretend that duff is soda.

I read this in a thick Australian accent. It really worked.

You haven't seen rants? You haven't been going to LEGO's Message Boards, I can tell.

[Software] LDD2PovRay
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
So, I read you can rerender a portion of a model. How does one do this without sending the thing through LDD2Povray again, thus erasing the INI? -

I highly doubt that Itchy will be with scratchy. Number one, they're not hugely off in size, and number two, those minifigures are going to be great for brickfilms, so it would be really strange to make one inarticulate.
-
Why does bricklink keep teasing the new version in this way? It's back to normal again now.
-
He was, but long ago enough for it to have changed.
-
Well, it's been confirmed by two separate sources, and they're a famous part of the show...seems pretty darn likely to me.

Wait, did you get Simpsons doughnuts early?

Wow. Endorsement from the company is pretty much the best possible compliment.

LEGO Doctor Who now a possibility?!

Agreed, though ten is undeniably on up there. Though I'm with you, as a huge fan of William Hartnell (I've even been watching the Loose Cannon reconstructions for the missing ones) it's really sad to see the classics sidelined. -
Over 100 DC characters made in LDD and MS Paint
Cult_Of_Skaro replied to SoupOrFishOil's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
The LXF files wouldn't help you. The decals are pasted onto blank LDD shots. -
I'm hoping that the number of people wishing for a CS fig will make them make the right decision.
