I am thinking maybe Lego Dimensions and Ninjago, since Disney already has Star Wars and Marvel covered and DC is already covered by WB

by then, they would probably expand the game with 1-2 more themes since Fall 2016 will be the 1 year anniversary of the game.

I am thinking that she is a side-character and Slimer or the Stay Puft the Marshmellow Ghost are one of the bosses

If Jay is really exclusive to Canada, then they should let kids buy one of the Ninjago sets with him in it, put the Jay Minifigure from the set onto the base, and boom Kids can now play as Jay in the game :)

Did you find it at Toys R Us, they like to sell Lego sets and Lego-related stuff a month early before their official release date?

I think it's a bad idea to wait till Black Friday for Lego Dimensions, because I am predicting the situation will be like amiibo, where everything gets sold out on the week of launch, and it doesn't get restocked for multiple months, or stores will run out of shelf space from Disney Infinity and Skylanders that they won't have space for Lego Dimensions and the packs.

What about Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a future world?

I will just display the minifigures with the rest of my Lego collection in my bedroom, when I am not using them on the game.

That's only for the launch wave of minifigures though, they might do more characters from the themes in the next waves.
