  1. I've been following your work on flickr since before the M8, as a big tank fanatic I love all of your work

I'm making one of these for my [MINI] entry Yours looks good
  4. If it was advanced building then that would include stunning models from other sections of the forums too which would fall under that category? like star wars etc? maybe it should be Technic, Model Team and Mindstorms Hall of Fame? Also I agree with others that a model doesnt have to have 4,000,000 pieces and weigh 50kg to get into the hall of fame (no exaggeration with the figures... ), Mini models are incredibly hard to do, taking part in the MINI contest has shown me this, so all stunning models should be in it, not just ones made by people who have loads of money to buy loads and loads of LEGO, and of course an understanding partner
  5. Jag F-type as you're from Australia you may not understand the significance of this car here in England, as the successor to the E-Type; but it is so beautiful
  6. Ah right that makes sense, bearing in mind the firing mechanism is the centre of the model
  7. Really really nit-picky, but shouldn't the upper glacis (hope with the amount of tanks you've built you know what this means) be slightly flatter and a tad deeper? or is that just the photo angle? otherwise excellent model. The detail on the engine deck especially is very nice
  8. With a possibility to use the 16t gear instead if I recall... just think of that one
  9. Stunning model and presentation as ever Doc, really nice model
  10. If it's in the middle there's no space for the interior though? That chassis looks like a lot of fun, I'm still looking for cheap RC motors
  11. This looks really cool, although I couldn't see Lego selling it as a Lego set
  12. Brilliant little model. You could make two and still be within the part limit, Buy one, get one free
  13. dikkie released that not that long ago. I wouldn't be surprised to see a render soon hint hint
  14. Have a guess at what this is! [MINI] Eurobrick's contest WIP by legomuppet9, on Flickr I'm building it in LDD before building it with real bricks so I can see the part count. First time I've done it this way and I must say that it is different, but still a challenge. Especially with this model trying to make the build as part-efficient (new phrase ) as possible Current part count is 65/200. The bevel gear is outside the model as I'm too lazy to twist the axles
  15. what an orange seat. Interesting colour choice for that Otherwise really nice model
  16. I think you need to do something with the front if possible but otherwise it looks good
  17. It's for a good cause, instructions are made of all these brilliant models
  18. Jim its a contest people will always try and find a way round the rules That's how a lot of winning cars in F1 came about for example
  19. Very nice! easily recognisable to me, I have a model spitfire on my desk
  20. I have an update, it's basically done on LDD, current part count at 145, and yes it is a rollroader thing (this: http://www.cat.com/e...s/18322456.html for example) [MINI] WIP 2 by legomuppet9, on Flickr Just need to fill the back in a bit. I must admit my techniques have improved a lot because of this contest in my building techniques
  21. Yeah I'm not even going to get third..
  22. Nope, but it is articulated...
