    One thing, will one AA battery box power 6 motors?? With 1 AA battery box, you can power 4 M Motors or 2 XL Motors or 1 XL and 2 M Motors. Also, do you think M Motors would be powerful enough?

    http://www.philohome...s/motorcomp.htm This site has all you'll ever need to know about the Lego motors. From what I can gather, If you gear down the L Motor to around the same level as a XL Motor is (2:1) the L motor doesn't have as much torque OR speed. If the XL motor is "destroying everything" are you sure you have braced it properly? Otherwise the gears slip, don't perform as well or (worse) make a horrible "clicking" noise and get wrecked.

    ...plus the propellers aren't Lego, they're metal, so they can lift more as they generate more momentum.

    This is my latest creation, a tank. It isn't based on any particular tank, just my own design Functions M Motor powers each track Manual 360o rotation of turret Barrel moves up and down The base is 16 studs long, 15 studs wide and 6 studs high. With the turret and barrel it is 32 studs long, 15 studs wide and 14 studs high. It is great fun to drive and reasonably strong and easy to fix if you do accidentally drive it off a table......... I'll post pictures tomorrow once I've taken some more photos at different angles.
