  1. I am going to be different, I actually think the wider one is better and more realistic
  2. Happy new year everyone, have a great year building
  3. Unfortunately it didn't show the functions...
  4. The 1H sets (except the F1 car) are coming out tomorrow (1st January) whilst the F1 car is being released around March (although Argos already have it). The 2H sets are being released in August.
  5. These wheels only ever appeared in two sets, 5571 and 5563, both were model team sets.
  6. I love the Spitfire . I love Lego . So this is: :wub_drool: :wub_drool: :wub_drool: :wub_drool: An AMAZING model Thirdwigg, it is so detailed, and HUGE, with all the functions you'd expect.
  7. Do you think you could change the gear ratio to make the tail rotor spin faster. Lego has to be able to fly somehow musn't it?
  8. I bought the 2506 skull truck for around £10 and got big wheels hard springs and lots of other technic pieces. It was a bargain!
  9. About the pricing, its probably because of inflation/rise in price of plastic. I really want this set
  10. Is there a two stud gap between the dark grey gears with the red piece in between them?
  11. I got Sariel's book no actual lego though unfortunately...
  12. So then you get speed and torque at the same time... good concept
  13. I think they think this is a plaglarized entry, which it definitely isnt.... That is just NOT ON... Great model rm8 , its a shame lego are being so stupid
  14. Top Gear need to do a speed test of that Agera Anyway in my view this is just a stretched Lotus with a big engine. But if you like it, you can build it, challenge yourself although I prefer its European rivals....
  15. Time to post my latest creation and also my first post on my new blog This model performs quite well and is quite fun to drive around. The info: "I recently purchased the 8435 set and my first thought after I had built it was that it had to be motorised. So, after much trial and error, I have succeeded in motorising the model. It uses an XL Motor for drive (geared down 1:2) and a M Motor for steering. It is fully remote control thanks to the IR Receiver and the IR Controller. The body is still easily removable (however you need to disconnect and remove the battery box first...) and the overall appearance is pretty much the same. I got rid of the differential (as they worsen the off-road performance), the V6 engine (which I wanted to keep, however it was the only sensible place for the drive motor) and a couple of other axles and gears here and there to make everything fit. I also reinforced the rear suspension with hard springs."

    Motorised 8435

It is, M Motor straight to the steering, unfortunately it was the only reliable solution I could find...
