legomuppet9 replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Out of interest what are the requirements exactly for receiving all the different technic tags? just wondered as I don't see many around... And also I do think this MoM thing is a good idea -
Buying a digital camera for MOC photography
legomuppet9 replied to Brickadeer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Pentax are always nice cameras from my experience, They're quite expensive, but this one has 1080p http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pentax-X5-Bridge-Camera-Optical/dp/B00911YEAQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389553077&sr=8-1&keywords=PENTAX I personally have a Panosonic Lumix bridge camera thing (for video, but I don't like it) and a Pentax K-10D at the moment -
[WIP] Scania Dunderbygge
legomuppet9 replied to Becs's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's too small.......... Joking aside, really nice accurate model, however for the vents I'd set them into the body a bit, to make the front look less flat unless you've done that already, can't quite tell -

Beautifully engineered model great job! And I agree, the willpower it takes for me to make body work for my models is huge. I hate it- 17 replies

Quick warning, the 2x4 L beams that connect to the diff casing are probably going to be quite interesting to get out -
[WIP] Honda ATC (9398 Alternative)
legomuppet9 replied to JM1971's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I am almost 100% certain it'll be strong enough without that beam in the middle, it ain't moving nowhere, its very tight space wise to squeeze everything together but it's just about ok, but a small bit of redesigning may be in order . Will finish it tomorrow morning and take pictures then, so far it's a very neat build! And challenging too... but that's just the LDD auto generating instructions for you -
[WIP] Honda ATC (9398 Alternative)
legomuppet9 replied to JM1971's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'll build it now Edit: found a problem on step 7 as the 5M red beam can't go through the back of the L Motor, on the LDD model you made of them that section does not appear... maybe change them to 3L beams? I think there's enough in the 9398 set although I'm not sure -
Hello Historical Forums! I am a primarily a Technic builder but after seeing all the beautiful work from you all here I thought I might have a go at creating a small scene. Unfortunately I don't nearly have enough bricks in the correct colours, nor the money to get them, so I had to resort to LDD, but even so, I am rather impressed with how it has turned out . I followed Derfel Cadarn's excellent tutorial, which was really easy to understand to make this Few piccies for you all... medieval house and stream7 by legomuppet9, on Flickr medieval house and stream6 by legomuppet9, on Flickr medieval house and stream8 by legomuppet9, on Flickr medieval house and stream9 by legomuppet9, on Flickr

Red Coupé V12
legomuppet9 replied to Lipko's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Whether or not it can elegantly be made RC is another matter entirely http://legomuppet9.b...2-quadbike.html but of course this is a nice big model, lots of space.... except for the amount of functions. So yeah, it would be interesting to do. You could perhaps take the gearbox out and use the space that gives -
What Technic sets did you get this year ?
legomuppet9 replied to Freekysch's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
