    AoM: Guardsmen Keep (Phase III)

Thanks, and I know, I'm having the problem with either too much or not enough light, too much gives glare off a lot of bricks, and not enough ends up like this Thank you, I got worried about 3/4 of the way through building when I realised I may only have 5 arches Luckily the last arch turned up eventually

    Thorshaven - Avalonian Quarter

Very nice, full of wonderful details! The ZCerberus influence is clear on the building, yet with your own style combined. And the whole display just looks fantastic!

    AoM: Gatehouse Phase I

AoM: Defence, gatehouse phase I Near the border between Mitgardia and Avalonia, a small town surrounded by a wooden wall, with gates at each entrance, a guard watches whoever enters, the Mitgardian banner flowing in the wind. A farmer leaves the town to sell his produce. A small build I whipped up today after getting back from holiday, after realising the next build for my character story would go well for Gatehouse phase II, just needed a phase I to precede it -Thanks for looking!

    AoM: Gatehouse Phase I

Thank you, well I imagined this gate would be somewhere along the wall of my Phase II walls, so I wanted to include the stone pillars Also Phase III is nearly completion, with only rock work left to do, it's my biggest build yet and so far I'm fairly pleased with it

    The Fell Company of Nocturnus

Nice little build, as much as it's simple, I love the shaping of the door arch! Looking forward to your something more complex

    Leanorll Manor

I know I've already commented on this on Flickr, but it really is fantastic! I didn't mention I liked the use of both normal studs, and tiled studs, whether intentional or not gives a very nice texture. But as I've said the stairs still the best part, they seem to be a detail not often included, mostly due to space issues, but it keeps the build realistic in a way
  8. Wow, the story is getting really interesting, and slightly terrifying! The Northern Guardsmen have been assembling troops, in case of the worst case scenario. And of course the build is fanatastic, all the details are magnificent, from the chandelier to the floor with places tiles to give a nice stone brick look!

    Laesonar 3 - Unexpected Encounters [Part 3]

Great build, the whole seen comes together nicely! As for the story I'm looking forward to the next part, an interesting story with just enough humor. Laesonar seems like he's in for an interesting night

AoM: Frostgate, Gatehouse phase II; Pt. 1.3

Thank you, and oops, the stone/wood combination? But I guess they do Glad people enjoy the story, the next part depends on how long phase III takes, as it's connected to the story, but not part of the storyline

Welcome to Mitgardia @Tyndale, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here Hopefully you'll get a photo hosting page sorted out soon!

Thank you, I made the mistake of disassembling the sled in between builds and having to find all the parts again for this Thanks, they could be, maybe I'll even use that bit for the front of a boat now you mention it Thank you, and unfortunately not, most of my builds could be compared to movie sets, only what is seen is built mostly due to part restrictions Not to mention this build is no more, needed to make space for phase III

    Ol' Colby's Cottage

A magnificent little house, the Tudor style is perfectly executed here. The trees and all the little details are very nice too, the vines going through the wheel and the bridge, but like it has been said before the only thing that could be improved is the layering for the grass, maybe try and use smaller parts like 2x1 plates? But except that the rest is perfect!

AoM: Frostgate, Gatehouse phase II; Pt. 1.3

Thank you, the spears seemed like a realistic detail of a real barbaric village Thanks, the Frozen Beyond is a vaste and unforgiving wasteland, not easily crossed by foot, and I also need to make this story line last over the two past years

    Pt. 1.2: Blood Lord Reunion

The next part of my character story, check out part 1, and part 2. A few days after part 1. After the kidnapping of men by barbarians in Teridyan, a meeting was called in the map room of the M.I.S. manor, reuniting 3 high ranking members: The Blood Lords. Demm, head of Blood lords, vice-chief of the M.I.S. - So, you must be wondering why I have summoned you here? Krew, first Blood Lord, the Crow-Keeper - Well I most certainly am. Demm - I received a message from a friend in Teridyan, there has been another silent attack and kidnapping... Obara, second Blood Lord, the Key-Keeper - We are yet to solve the last one. Demm - But this time the situation has gotten worse, a member of the M.I.S. has been removed during this attack a few days ago. Kan, third Blood Lord, leader of the M.I.S. Northern Guardsmen - Who is it? Demm - Finnak Sern, known as Fin. Obara - I met him on a few occasions, I cannot imagine he'd be an easy man to kidnap. Demm - We believe this attack is related to the others, so based of witnesses, the attackers are large, barbaric looking men, who come in the night and take the men only, leaving everything else untouched. We've narrowed down the location of the attackers and hopefully their prisoners to somewhere in Mitgardia. Kan - It's not that that is not much to go on, but all of Mitgardia is a rather broad search area, not to mention we've had M.I.S. specialists investigating these kidnappings for over a year now... Demm - Which is why I've called upon you three, Krew, we need you to provide an eye in the sky, use your crows to search the land far and wide. Krew - As you wish sir. Demm - Obara, I believe a man matching the description of the attackers is in your custody after getting injured during one of their little raids, we need as much information off him as possible, and by any means. Obara - Very well sir, we interrogated him when he was sent in to no success, but I won't fail this time. Demm - Kan, as much as your services are not required at the moment, as soon as the location of these men has been revealed we'll need your guardsmen to strike and recover any Mitgardian prisoners. Kan - Aye,it would be my pleasure m'lord, I'll get the boys prepared. Demm - And I wish to present you head of our rangers, Thomas, he and his men will search all Mitgardia for the Barbarians. Thomas- Good evening gentlemen, wish I could chat but I believe we all have work to do. Demm - Good luck to you all. A few months later. Krew - Sir my crows found nothing, we've searched all the land for a trace of the barbarians for months now, and word from Obara says the prisoner was no use, we have nothing... Thomas - The same for my rangers sir... Demm - This is most unusual, and leaves two solutions, either they aren't in Mitguardia, Avalonians or Nocturnians maybe, or... Krew - No, that's not possible sir, the only thing up there is ice creatures and snow! Thomas - What we are dealing with are no ice creatures, yet no man could survive up there. Demm - Someone must go, someone must venture through the snow and ice... Thomas - I will go, I knew Fin, I shall not let him down. Krew - Alone? Thomas - I will take any willing rangers, but if none agree, yes, I shall go alone. Demm - The best of luck to you master ranger, you will go where very few dare, brave the Frozen Beyond. Thomas - Thank you sir, I shall return and with the location needed. Possibly my largest GoH build so far, starting off with just the map and then expanding, the map was rather fun to build, and I tried to make it as accurate as I could. Sorry the story kinda jumps through time here though going back to before part 2, and then to after it. Without minifigs: -Thanks for looking!

AoM: Frostgate, Gatehouse phase II; Pt. 1.3

Thank you, and yes, I'm only just starting to get to grips with photography, but I'm using a borrowed camera and I'd prefer not to fiddle with the settings too much, but photos always seem to come out too bright or too dark But something I'm definitely trying to improve, as I feel photography can be a very important part of the build Thank you, the base was built slightly differently to my other builds, as I used a baseplate under the whole build, and built over that Thanks, definitely not planning on ditching the base design any time soon Although that's probably due to having very limited tiles with stickers, I'm glad it worked out, thanks! Thank you, the curved wood parts were inspired but images I found of reconstructed Viking villages Thank you, I wasn't sure about the wood, as it uses the prefab wooden log wall pieces, but glad it works Thanks, I found the barbaric village look rather hard to capture, a bit of research had to be done, so happy it payed off

    HSS Military Barracks of Sionnach

Wow, that's a lot of arches Put to fantastic use though, a very solid looking build full of great details! As much as the exterior looks very nice, the interior definitely steals the show

    AoM: Gatehouse Phase I

Thank you, I think the pine trees go back to when I first started building for GoH
  23. A nice build, the rock work is very well done and the outpost look suitably weathered. I can only repeat what others have said, that the build would really benefit from a better background (something I'm only just mastering myself ) and a bit more layering and variation of colour instead of the plain grey base something I just noticed, but I love that chain ladder behind one of the towers
  24. Fantastic build and story, the smoke really adds the the terrifying beast, not sure I'd like to tuck into one of its tentacles though Looking forward to hopefully participating in the long awaited action
