That's true, in an MOC slightly different pilots are nice. But in an MOC of a battlefield I like to see the same minifigs. For example the battle pack 7668 was superb for army building. Variations of Rebels are nice.

For the real collectors it is great, but as a MOC builder it is not. How can you make an army when there are only one or two minifigs of that kind in a box? It you brought 20 different boxes 5 years ago you had a big army of for example Stormtroopers. As you say it is good for LEGO, but I think not good for every LSW fan.

What I hate is that no box of 2013 contains the same minifigs as an other box, so every minifig gets harder to find by making just one for a single box. If you look 10 years ago, you sometimes have one minifig in 10 boxes. More different minifigs = more minifigs to buy = more money you need to spend. I had to buy a second vitrine for my minifigs, my wall gets to small to put al those minifigs on. Just my way of looking to the new 2013 boxes, ...

I think I will skip the old republic sets, but a can't resist the Rancor! The battle packs are looking good. Again many new LSW minifigs and it is only the first part of 2013!

That UT-AT would be nice, I guess there will be 80% clone wars or old republic. I would like to see a cantina again. (New dewback and new Greedo) Some others: Sandcrawler, Cloud City, Endor treehouse, ... Or a good Star Destroyer would be nice too: Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, Interdictor Cruiser, Nebulon-B Frigate, ... They have to make something for UCS, some Star Destroyers would fit good in the room like the Super Star Destroyer .

This is the best UCS AT-AT ever, I will (try to) make a replica of it for my MOC of the battle of Hoth. One stand up and one crashed in snow. It will not look as good as yours but it's a good example. Over all a very good MOC!

I don't really have a "worst set ever", but I agree that the first 2 years weren't the best for LSW. Altough there are some beauties (7171 and 7191). With the rise of LSW the Clone Wars in 2007, LSW is sometimes more Playmobil than Lego. It has become worse with the old Republic I think. LSW isn't the same anymore, after the golden years of 2003-2005. USC stays nice but the regular collection is to my opinion ugly.

Hi all, After the problem of last week I will re-introduce me now. I'm Elliot Vermaas and I'm 15 years old. As you will soon realise, my English is not so good but I will do my best. I live in Brussels and I'm following the discuttions on the forum for a cupple of years. In the beginning of 2005 I brought myself my first LSW box: the 7261 Clone Turbo Tank, in my oppinion the best box to start with. I continied to collect LSW untill today, I want to have every box and minifig and I'm getting close to complete that challenge. I love MOC building, I'm making an MOC of the battle of Hoth (5m20 on 1m20) and an MOC of the battle of Endor (smaller size). I have also some idea's for Mos Eiley. As you can see I'm quite a fan of the original trioligy of Star Wars, I'm actualy a super fan of the Empire. I never liked the Rebellion, but I respect of corse the people they do. You will only find me on the Star Wars forum. It is nice to join at last to this wonderfull forum and I hope I'm welcome, in the mean time remember, the force will be with you. Always.

Since the beginning I knew I wanted to have every LSW minifig, that cause some problems. You can never find an official minifig list, I use Minifigs.nl and Bricklink but the list is sometimes different. For example: Minifigs.nl says that there are two versions of Owen lars, Bricklink says there is only one. This happens with some minifigs, I can't really know when my collection is complete. Is there anyone who has a perfect and official LSW minifig checklist? It would help me and I think many people. Thank you.
