    Street Modulars

Looks great! Better with the door now. The lamp is really cool. The only suggestion i would make would be to have the walls completely in dark red instead of brown. Looking forward to the next houses!

    Tigelfáh Abbey

Absolutely amazing! I wouldn´t have thought it possible to do a window like this lion crest. I also like the burial scene, it´s a very nice detail. Very impressive how it is fitted into the landscape at an angle. The roof is made of 2x2 tiles on plates?

MOC - 60s bungalow with pool

Hello, just finished this small MOC of a 60s style bungalow with garden and pool. It is built of bricks within a steel frame painted in white. https://secure.flickr.com/photos/professor_chaos/sets/72157635754315904/

MOC - 60s bungalow with pool

Thanks for your all comments, i am glad you like it! There are indeed some similarites with the Farnsworth House, actually it stood on my table as i was building this MOC. I also used some parts from it. I started building this MOC as i found this picture in an architecture book. It was black and white so i assumed the bricks are red, which i now found out is not true^^ Rosen House, 1961-63 by Craig Ellwood Yes , i think i will buld a bigger version of something similar to this bungalow. Don´t know when yet, as at the moment I am working on two renaissance houses. yes there is a little bit of interior, but ther was no place for a table, so it´s only suitable as a weekend home i think..

    [MOC] Romanesque Church

Thanks a lot for all your comments! I am glad that you also find that the style is well captured. As mentioned above i also think it would not gain from adding minifigs, as it is about the architecture. There is no bell ( and also no cross) till now. Maybe i will add transept arms, and a crossing tower, there i would place a bell then and a cross on top. As it took me 6 months to complete i want to build a couple of smaller MOCs before continuing this one. ( also have to get more dark orange and medium dark flesh bricks)

    [MOC] Romanesque Church

It is not based on a specific building, but i let myself be inspired by differnet buildings. For the color scheme and the windows i looked at this, Speyer in Germany: I also liked the interior design of San Zeno Maggiore in Verona: And for the westwork (frontside) Ste - Trinité In Caen (Normandy) : I put some plates on top, and then the tiles:

    [MOC] Royal Town Palace

At last my royal town palace is finished! I hope you like it A royal wedding takes place in the great hall, with nobles and townsfolk attending. More wine is arriving as a wine merchant is just approaching the city gates, guarded by the the city guard. Peasants go about their work, and a jester is entertaining a small crowd at the fountain. [MOC] Royal Town Palace

Indeed, one of my favourite parts of the whole building process was experimenting with these chesse slope windows. It was then done with a three deep wall where i slided the windows inside and fixed them on the bottom with double cheese slopes^^ There is one great advantage when the front doors are angled at 90 degrees to the pathway: you can´t get enough momentum to smash them with for example.. war elephants (or a battering ram in this case). Jodhpur Fort in India is a good example, its also built this way there. Yes, i think you are right about the colors of the roofs. It was just a matter of to many roofs and not enough parts to do them in a more uniform manner.

The claws are also very nicely done! Looks really great as the eagle is landing.

    [MOC] Royal Town Palace

Thank you very much, i am glad you like it The dragon´s head is from this Castle set: http://lego.wikia.co...7037_Tower_Raid Got it out of a bag of used parts i bought at the mauerpark flea market in berlin^^ As to the floor tiling, its actally quite simple: if you add one tile on top of a 1x2 brick and a 1x2 plate on the bottom you get a sqare with 10 LDU side length. Every second one of thise is then angled at 90 degrees when laying the floor. On the way to the throne i just used long white tiles. Under the tiling i just laid a white wall, and left some space for the interior to be added later on. ( and hide the reverse of the inverted slopes on the wall in the process) PS: i really like the grey pillars, allredy stocked up on them for my next project

    [WIP] Great Hall

Hi all! The cheese wedge roof should look better now. Also finished the second part of the hall (a small tower is still missing though) , you can take a first look here:

    [WIP] Great Hall

Thanks for all your constructive comments! As far as i can see all questions regarding specific parts have allready been answerded. I don´t know how many parts were used till now, my guess would be 3000+, amybe even 4000? Regarding the colours, I am thinking about some changes as some of you noted there are to many different ones. I will remove the orange brown pieces, not sure about the sand blue parts at the sides if these should also be replaced. I admit the colours on the ceiling are a little bit mixed up, will have look at this. (also depending on the parts i have at disposal) Maybe i put some more grey in the floor instead of dark red, but i currently wouldn´t remove the red alltogehther, as it should represent different kinds of colored marble. ( currently i plan to make it into a sort of throne room, where the most expensive building materials should be used)

    [MOC] Harbor Scene

Hi! I have now finished building a small harbor around the tavern i posted some weeks ago. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=74343 The tavern now got a cellar, there is a small warehouse, some food vendors, and an harbor tower. As you can see its quite a busy day in this small harbor.

    [MOC] Harbor Scene

Thanks a lot for all the encouraging comments! actually it was only one medieval market village. Also one kingdom joust and one mill village raid. The panels for the wall are from some ninjago mountain shrines i got on sale. As a source for dark blue plates for water i can recommend the atlantis treasure boardgame^^

    [MOC] Kings Arms Tavern

Hi! Just finished building this tavern. It is called the Kings Arms and has two storeys above the tap room. The royal family is staying there while travelling to a great tourney. I am thinking about adding additional buildings like a stable and a marketplace, would very much appreciate any opinions on this first building.

for the people, freedom and honor! Castle Diorama

Really amazing! The damaged walls and siege engines are truly excellent. Like the great action with soldiers even falling of the wall.
