  1. Sad that the HH is going, but wouldn't it make more sense to keep producing it until october 31st and then stop selling it? Either way, it's still one of the sets that I want to get so I'll probably try and get it sooner rather than later.

    Bananaman Movie in 2015

Yep, it's already out. Here's the trailer: It honestly looks just like another generic kids film to keep the little ones quiet for a bit.
  3. For those of you wondering why the gamer has that controller as an accessory, take a look at the controller featured in the game's actual logo:

    MOC: Minifig-scale VW campervan.

MOC: MINIFIG-SCALE VW CAMEPERVAN. Topic includes Incredibly silly backstory. Caution: May contain nutters. After being sold by an american billionare, this VW Campervan found it's way to a small auction house in a small town called Mayhead City, where it was "accidentally" bought by Dave (the guy on the right) for the grand sum of £20,000. Dave, being Dave, said he didn't have this kind of money just lying around the house, and ended up having to sell his own home to pay for the campervan and avoid being taken to court by the auction house. With no place to live, Dave decided after trying to sleep in the campervan to phone his only friend Jay (the guy on the right), a calm and cautious brickfilmer, and ask beg him to stay at his house for 'a bit'. After 16 whole minutes, Jay reluctantly let Dave stay there with him as long as he replaced the VW logo on the front of the campervan with the Imperial Crest from Star Wars and stopped playing the guitar badly (Dave always thought that he was the plastic incarnation of Jimi Hendrix, but he was in fact the opposite). Two weeks after Dave moved in, this happened in the middle of Mayhead City: After this incident, Dave's guitar 'mysteriously' disappeared from their house, and no-one (except the bin-men) know about it's true whereabouts. Some more pictures of the actual model (Finally!): Without minifigs: Side View: Front View: Back View: Thanks for looking!
  5. I really wish that TLG would do that, but they probably won't go that far. They could sneak in a Lego Island reference by making the pizza guy work for "Papa Brickolini's Pizzeria"
  6. I'm a citizen now! HUZZAH!

  7. First night looks pretty dull as a set, but the mine, oh that mine, I think this is love at first sight. Seriously, that looks like fun and I want it badly . I don't like the design they chose for the creepers though, the feet look weird. EDIT: I'm a citizen now! HUZZAH!
  8. Pretty nice. I may get the farm, but the mining set doesn't really interest me at all.
  9. ... and now for something completely different Come and follow me on twitter! Subscribe to my Youtube Channel! Look at my MOCS on Flickr! Warning: may contain nutters.

Do you build with LEGO while using the bathroom?

Running out of topics to start I see? Anyway I don't actually build anything there, but I do usually take a Lego catalogue or an issue of Brickjournal to read. However, if I'm holding a small model like a car or something I'll just place it on the shelf at the other side of the bathroom and look at it while sitting down.

MOC: Octan Luxe - 50's car

The Octan "Luxe" was launched in the late 50's as Octan Motors first official car to try and take a slice out of the growing market; it was met with lukewarm feedback but due to its luxurious interior its sales went through the roof. Unfortunately, not many of them have survived to this day and are extremely hard to get hold of nowadays. You can find more images on my Flickr photostream. Enjoy!

    MOC: Octan Motors Concept Store

OCTAN MOTORS: CONCEPT STORE To further extend their sales (and profits), Octan Motors has recently been building more showrooms that are suitable for the next generation of customers. This latest store (located within Mayhead City) is apparently the first of many to be built across the country. On the ground floor, there are various laptops so that customers can browse through the complete collection of cars that Octan Motors currently offers to customers. A large screen behind the counter showcases tweets with the hashtag #OctanMotors attached to it. This generally works well, but occasionally this has been a problem as some people (and even competitors) have been tweeting abusive messages, which are then displayed on the screen. A dummy version of one of Octan Motors current sportscars is also mounted on the wall to make the store stand out on the high street. On the second floor, there is a full design studio where designers work around the clock to design new vehicles for Octan Motors (except on tuesdays) A design studio will be included in every new concept store to get an idea of the demand for certain products to streamline their new release schedule. Next door to the designer studio, Octan Motors Vice President Mr Business' office is located, with his personal computer and simple desk (since the Battle for Bricksburg, he's decided to downsize his role within Octan, along with returning the company to it's roots by scrapping all products except for Fuel and Motors). He specified his office to be located next to the designer studio so that he can make sure they're actually working instead of sleeping. More images from the opening of this new showroom can be found on my Flickr photostream. Thanks for looking!

    Your dream Lego theme

I know there's basically no chance of it happening except through Cuusoo, but I'd love some EDDSWORLD sets. If you've never heard of it, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/eddsworld.

    [MOC] LL-947 Space Defender

LL-947 Space Defender Built to replace the ageing fleet of LL-918 one-man spacecrafts, the LL-947 has 6 side mounted lasers on the wings to defend itself from the forces of Blacktron, which was a key problem with the old 918 class spacecrafts, who couldn't defend themselves if they ran into trouble. There are numerous reports that some of these have been modified by Blacktron to use against our forces, but so far there is no photographic evidence of these occurrences. Enjoy!

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion

Correct, Although I may consider investing in a Blu-ray player if I find a cheap one with a VCR player also built in (Yes, I still have videos ).

EB Xmas Raffle 2013: Now on!

After arriving in Mayhead City, Aragon and his soldiers have been arrested by the MCPD (Mayhead City Police Force). Thanks for the raffle Copmike! Now I've just got to find out who these characters actually are (I've never actually watched LOTR before )!

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion

Great news, but its a shame that it's only in the most expensive edition. That and I don't have a Blu-ray player, so it would be pretty pointless for me to buy it.

LEGO Doctor Who now a possibility?!

If they did release a set, by the time it would hit the shops Capaldi would have already appeared as the doctor, so I think they should really include him and Matt Smith so that you can recreate his regeneration.
