hey all, I've been lurking this forum for awhile but never bothered to actually register or post anything but just want to say this forum has helped me a lot! Anyways, here is my current pirate ship project. I've been working on it for about a week-ish now and i'm hoping to complete it by the end of next week. This ship is mainly based on the HMS Victory and HMS Windsor Castle/Duke of Wellington I don't want to give out too much yet but heres what the ship looked like 3 days ago: Its changed a lot since this picture was taken. thanks for viewing!

hey guys, thanks for the comments! I took your advice and did the thing with the drum sticks and it turned out REALLY well! Regarding the Side Drums, it was pretty much a guess and check process. Hopefully these pictures help you see what I did: The Bass Drum was done with some string: The sling for the sax was also pretty much guess and check: All the decals were done with double sided tape and going over the edges with another marker so its really easy to do! However, you need to play with the sizes a bit. With my printer, all the insignias and drum decals/Drum major sash was printed at 30% of the picture size and the uniforms and tiger skin was done at 0.59 Width. The medals were printed at 35% size. However, i think photobucket sized the images down a bit when i uploaded them so you'll probably have to figure out your own dimensions if you're interested in trying these decals! I can probably find somewhere to post up the decals in their original sizes if anyone is really interested in making their own band. Drum Major Decal: Bandsman Decal: Tiger Skin: Various Insignias: Drum Decals and Drum Major Sash: Various Medals: For the history fanatics out there, i put the regal cypher of Queen Victoria on my drums because this band was suppose to be for my imperial ship project (1850s-1900s). The medals are also from the same era I tried to get as much detail as I can into these figures.

hey guys, haven't updated for awhile. I guess I didn't quite finish in the two weeks time but its almost done (sails, rigging, minor details etc... left) if anyone have suggestions for sails and rigging PLEASE let me know, thanks! i'm also planning on working on a display stand of some sort. if you look at the ship, i've constructed the orlop deck (very bottom deck) as well, which is usually underwater so i plan on constructing some sort of translucent underwater stand of some sort...sometime... hey guys, heres a star trek MOC runabout i built a looonnngg time ago. Did a search for star trek stuff and nothing much really came up so thought i put this up here: P.S...this was made before I knew you could print custom decals so everything was drawn by hand...therefore, the quality isn't the greatest enjoy! Runabout exterior: Runabout Interior: Science Station: Helm & Tactical: Engineering: Crew: Aux Science Station: Transporter Room: Crew quarters: Crew Lounge:

thanks for the reply guys, I might upgrade it with some curved slopes and maybe widen it after i finish my pirate ship project (if i have any pieces left over that is ) the ship is about 40 something cm long and the era...well, i'd have to say its from DS9 when they were swaping from the TNG uniforms to VOY uniforms (around the same time frame of the Star Trek: Generations movie where you can see the crew wearing both styles of uniforms) I don't THINK theres a sickbay on the runabout but i'll check my star trek DS9 technical manual again haha

hey guys, the ship's exterior is almost all complete. working on the interior right now and thats taking awhile as i'm slowly running out of pieces (too bad lego isn't self regenerating ) i have 40 of the standard lego guns and i built a bunch of MOC guns so the current gun count is around 90-100. The finished model will boast a crew of 250. the colour scheme was based on the armada flag ship set (they were also the colours i had the most of to start with haha.) Theres still a lot left to be done though (rigging, sails...etc.) thanks for the comments!
